Every tag shows when the item will be marked down next, so if something is a little too expensive for my bargain-hunting budget today, I can either look for older tags that have already been discounted or make a note to come back after the next markdown. It's such a smart system, and it makes shopping here a lot more fun. I also love that the store is staffed by volunteers and that the proceeds benefit local charities. The volunteers are friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they're doing. Every visit feels welcoming. I often run into familiar faces, and it's not unusual to end up having a pleasant conversation with a volunteer I've never met before.
