Donation Drive thru drop off is convenient. But I feel like the place is too small for so many things I feel like it's too cluttered but I guess that's what makes thrifting fun. You have to really dig through. The selection was ok and the prices were ok. I bought two things and it was a treat to find out they were both 50% off. I would still recommend to check this place out, but you just have to dig through to find treasure. read more

They don't have a fitting room and before purchasing I asked the associate if I will get a refund if I returned things didnt fit, he assured me I'll get a refund but hat he didn't tell me is that I wasn't gonna get a refund yo my card but as in store credit. thats not right if you spent $100 but only end up keeping $20 worth of it you wont get the $80 back to your card. They no longer let you plug in electronics to test them. That's right. Can't test ANYTHING at all with an outlet, confirmed this with several employees. And if it doesnt work, you bring it back to get stuck with credit for a store that prices higher than something when it was new? Seriously, why is this store still open? It needs to close. read more

Despite the 2 star rating I decided to give this Goodwill a shot and I'm glad I did. Staff was super friendly and they greeted everyone as they walked and let them know which tag was on sale. Clothing racks were full and had the correct sizes within! The prices were decent, not as cheap as some other stores, but definitely not as expensive as others. More in the mid range if that makes sense. I will definitely come back when I'm out that way. read more

There today to give a bag of clothes. Went in empty store and was told to go to back. No customers, she could have taken them back for me. Drove around to back and was going to hand the bag to a boy there, and he said I had to drive around and come in facing the correct way. Went home and threw the clothes away. I wish I could give it a zero. I was told that my card declined because they are having an issue with certain card payments going through. The assistant manager asked me to run another card, she said she was sure a charge didn't go through because a "receipt didn't print" so like an idiot I ran another card and when I got to the car to make sure I didn't pay twice well I came to see that I sure as heck did end up paying twice! When I went back into the store to ask to get a refund she told me that she couldn't help me and I could call the number at the bottom of the receipt!! She also told me that there was no one else above her that I could speak to. I felt like I got scammed. Do not shop here!!! I waited 45 minutes for her to get off her break just for her to tell me no receipt no exchange, I get it but I've been allowed to do it before. your store is made up of free donated clothes (I've donated 5 trash bags worth) so why are you being such a Scrooge to your own community? you so worried about saving the store a dollar that you screw over a regular like me who buys all their work clothing there. Goodwill used to be better than this, I've been shopping there since I was 8. I will not return to this location unfortunately, yall need a better front of house face. I love coming to this store. The employees are nice. The store is pretty neat for a Goodwill. I usually find at least three to four bags of items. This time I only left with one (bummer) but at least I found something. Each visit can't be a good one. I will continue to visit this location. read more

I want to post a 5 star review for their five star work. At first, it was five stars. Over the course of time, it's not earning 5 stars anymore. If you can donate here, the times are VERY limited. When I have been able to donate, how the team members spoke to people and gave directions on where to put things in the bins could only be improved upon. You don't need to be mean or condensing someone just trying to donate stuff. It wasn't always like this but I'm not sure what changed. I've stopped trying to donate here anyway. read more

Waste of time. When they relocated to this location last year, things got better for a while. There were items in the store that made it worth a visit. Unfortunately, now everything good is getting skimmed by friends of employees via some backdoor dealings. People will come in, chat with staff, fill up a shopping cart and leave out the side door like a bandit in the night. read more

Bought some golf clubs with price tags and the asst. manager charges me whatever she thinks the amount is without looking at tags and she will tell me that she sells them at that amount and she will do me a "favor" that she will honor the price tag this time. They have now been at 3 addresses since the late 1990's. Many have stated that the prices have gone loco and I have to agree. The majority of their items that they know they can make money on are put on one of two sites that they own shopgoodwill.com and goodwillfinds.com. But what can you do when there are less than 5 thrift stores in town and all are competing against each other. read more

Kathleen , the assistant manager at the goodwill in Fairfield CA is extremely rude and does not correctly wear her mask. I had to ask her twice to fix her mask as it was not covering her nose and she became extremely hostile. I asked her for a price check of three items I set on the counter ( 2 panty hose and 1 toddlers purse) she said 1.99. I agreed to pay that for each item but when I looked at my receipt , she had charged the purse as 4.99 , when I asked why, she said that that was the price and that store did not do refunds. I am blown away that someone so unapproachable and inconsiderate is an assistant manager. The worst part is as I am getting in my car, another customer flags me down to say that she was also incredibly rude to him and praised me for my composure. Please provide customer service training for this employee ASAP. read more

Update- They now have a sign at the cash register that explains that the neon green tags are not included in their sales On the hunt! FYI- Make sure to ask the cashier your questions- I asked a stock guy what the color of the day was (50% off) and he said the wrong color ("any green tag"). Cashier simply said "he's new. He doesn't know (it was only dark green)". Didn't even try to adjust pricing or apologize. They have great stuff, lots of brand new Target donations. read more

This Goodwill is the ccx worst! The last 3 times I have been to the Fairfield Goodwill they have refused to take my donations. There are lazy guys working in the back that don't seem to want to do their job. They have repeatedly said they are full. I now go to opportunity House in Vacaville. Worst customer service ever by the store manager. She unprofessional, insensitive, and greedy! Wanted to buy some items at an affordable price to decorate my home, but the manager said they don't negotiate prices! I've gone to many Goodwills and they've negotiated prices! Once I decided to check out with half of the things I grabbed which would of been about $100 that I was willing to spend, the manager started separating items that I found out on the shelves and said that they weren't together. I was so irritated that I decided to leave everything. I called corporate to complain. I hope they do something about this woman because she's a nasty person! How is she the manager! If I can give no stars I would I called the donation center to see if they are accepting donations and what time they'll be closing today they told me they're excepting donations all day until 6:30pm. I load up my car can barely close the doors and go to Goodwill somebody rudely comes the door and tells me that they can't except anything I tell them about my phone conversation she leaves comes back with somebody else and they tell me again no donations, again explained the phone conversation I just had and they said no the owner says no. This store is awesomesauce! The employees are super nice and helpful everytime I go in. The one today helped me out from start to finish. Took my clothes to the fitting room. Informed me that there is a plus sized section (which is great!) All the way to cashing me out. There are 3 thrift stores on this street and this one has by far the most exceptional service staff. People MAY complain about the prices going up but the service MORE than makes up for it and they have special sales too. This Saturday all clothes and shoes 1/2 off! read more
