Today there was a different cashier who charged me 4 items when I had 3 and told me she cannot refund me despite her mistake. She was the store manager, nice, but still. This is done purposefully. It has happened too many times to be a coincidence. Another way to boost revenue is to charge men prices for kids items. I don't have to be treated that way. I am a custimer and I have donated dozen of bags of items over the years. Will go to Savers instead.

I had been here once before last year, but I came a few minutes before closing so I didn't get a chance to see everything. I came back last week and this time I got a good look around. I didn't realize that this place is huge! They have several rooms that are all organized by different themes. They have a room for dining/kitchenware, children, men's, women's, holiday items, etc. my favorite were the two Christmas rooms in the back! It was only June, but it definitely put me in the holiday spirit! I got two Christmas items for a cheap deal! Only totaling me $5! Can't wait to come back again!

Fortunately, it didn't take Pat and Jane long to secure this new spot down the street. What they gave up in square footage they gained in foot traffic. It's a bummer that they lost the separate furniture showroom they had at the former location, though. They do still bring in pieces, albeit on a much smaller scale. They already had pretty good turnover of goods in the old space so they should do even better here. Even when they get high-end or collectible items in, they mark them reasonably. One of my favorite scores so far has been my 4-quart Corningware casserole (Country Festival pattern) for $11 (goes for up to 3x that amount on eBay/Etsy, not counting shipping). No matter where Adobe lives, it's always worth dropping in.

This week with my parents was all about thrifting. This was our first stop. My mom found me a Lucky…read morebrand top that was on the 50% rack. I tried it on over my clothing as they don't have a changing room. The top was a bit too baggy on me and the sleeves were kind of short, that was how the sleeves were to be, but still too short for my liking. I looked through all the clothing and sadly didn't find anything that caught my attention. This was a downer as it was our first thrift shop in our week of shopping. I was starting to feel unlucky. Things did pick up over the week and I found lots of great finds at the other thrift stores in the area. Changing rooms- Sadly they don't have any and that kept me from picking out clothing to try on. I believe they have a return policy of some type. You probably just get store credit, that's how most places work, you don't actually get your money back. if you are a frequent shopper here that can work out for you. Since I'm from out of town taking the clothing home and trying it on and trying to return it doesn't really work for me. Bathrooms- I think at one time they allowed patrons to use their restroom, but now it's limited to just employees. Parking- They are part of a strip mall and they have a private parking lot with free parking. There were plenty of parking spaces when we arrived. Monday, July 13, 2026 around Noon. Offerings: Clothing, Shoes, purses, dishes, dog and cat supplies, furniture, suitcases, ect. Dog and Cat Supplies- They have a ton of different Halloween costumes for your furry friend. There are lots of shirts for your furry friend to wear. They have baby gates, crates, food dishes, toys, ect. This is a great place to shop at if you have a furry friend. I wish I knew about this place when my little girl was still around. So sad. My parents love this thrift store. They come here on a regular basis. I got their info from the Lindsey Museum website and called over a week ago. After an extremely long time on hold, they took all my info, and all the info about my car, and said someone would call me back. It's been almost a week and no-one ever called. When I called them back today to tell them that I'd need to move on, if someone wasn't going to come get the car ... all the girl on the other end said was, "Sorry, m'am." I asked if someone was planning to come or did they have a reason, etc.? Again, she just said, "Sorry." That was the end. We hung up. She didn't ask me for any info., or offer any reasons, nor try to save the donation. It was a very strange and disappointing experience. So, unfortunately, Lindsey Museum lost out.
