He runs a small store full of usual thrift items but adds his own friendly, "whatever you say" attitude in his dealings which makes it a pleasant overall experience every time. Place is [unfortunately] pretty unkempt & often isn't even open when it says it should be (depends on when he gets there to open shop). Cleanliness is lower end. Prices are reasonable. All in all I don't mind popping in here once in a while to see if there are any cool finds.

I figured they would be a dollar or 2 since they have so many in bad condition, The 4 that I picked were filthy and discolored and just old but I was going to repaint the frames and clean dr up the pics. It was litteral trash honestly. I found a couple books for the kids. I asked for the items for 10 dollars. She wanted 15 then 12. Irritating for things that are not in any good condition. I wasn't asking for a name brand item for free I just wanted a deal. She could have said ok 10 bucks and she could keep a customer that way.

Fortunately, it didn't take Pat and Jane long to secure this new spot down the street. What they gave up in square footage they gained in foot traffic. It's a bummer that they lost the separate furniture showroom they had at the former location, though. They do still bring in pieces, albeit on a much smaller scale. They already had pretty good turnover of goods in the old space so they should do even better here. Even when they get high-end or collectible items in, they mark them reasonably. One of my favorite scores so far has been my 4-quart Corningware casserole (Country Festival pattern) for $11 (goes for up to 3x that amount on eBay/Etsy, not counting shipping). No matter where Adobe lives, it's always worth dropping in.

The owner was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were divided by theme (I especially enjoyed the music/concerts room) and he had a great selection of vintage jerseys. He said he cleans all the clothes before putting them out so people can try them on without worries. I can't wait to come back to see what other clothes the owner finds. The store is a little hidden in the back of a little shopping area/offices off of First Street, but there are lots of helpful signs to guide you. You can see that the staff are sorting in the back and many of the items here are high quality. There are some decent brands in the mix. Prices are overall reasonable, and they had some discounts going on. They seem to discount by color tags, and they actually take those items out and put them in a specific section so you're not hunting for those sales like many other thrift shops. There are three fitting rooms in the back that are covered with curtains. You can sign up for their membership with your contact to earn points on purchases and get notified for their sales, as well. Staff were also very friendly. Parking lot was decently sized, but if you come later, it may be a bit more challenging to find parking (some spots are designated for a nearby business and some are 15 minute only spots).

I found this thrift store purely by accident as I was on my way to Benicia's main drag, and I'm so…read moreglad I made the last-minute detour! ReVibe Shop is clearly curated with care. The manager (possibly owner?) is very hands-on and her hard work is evidenced by a space that's clean, wonderfully arranged, and appealing to shop in. As I overheard conversations happening around me, I picked up on a sense of community...sure enough, I have since learned that ReVibe is connected to vibetogether.org, whose goal is "to create a positive impact in our community by bridging mental health and the arts. Our mission is to empower individuals through support, emotional well-being, self-expression, and community healing." The main shop is so organized and thoughtfully laid out that it feels like a boutique. Adult apparel is in the primary room, with smaller rooms for accessories and kid's clothes, books, and toys. For now, housewares are in a separate room to the right of the main shop, but there are plans to eventually tear down the wall separating the two spaces to make one large shop. Before I even left ReVibe, I was already thinking about doing a big purge at home so that I could bring donations in soon. I'd rather drive all the way from San Francisco to Benicia to support this shop than take my things to Goodwill or Salvation Army. ReVibe deserves all the support we can give!
