Only big problem I have is that the staff are very strict with their rules and regulations, so I ended up running into a huge problem with that. About a few weeks ago is when the problem started when I was buying 3 identical items, two with a price tag and one without. (Price was the same on the two with the price tags.) I didn't know until I got to the register that one of the items didn't have a tag/was missing, so the cashier that was checking me out simply denied the sale and put it in the bin to recirculate through the system. Super frustrating. So I went back to the store a few times to see if it had recirculated, and I was just about to give up when I actually found it again about 2 weeks later. So I went up to the cash register, and the same cashier from last time was there. And when she was checking me out, the same exact frame that recirculated that I found again, guess what. Still didn't have a price tag. And so at that point I was so frustrated, I practically refused to leave the store until I was able to purchase the item. And when I called up the manager for help, I had to basically force the sale. Honestly ridiculous. You'd think that the staff would actually care about sales and customer service even just a little, especially the manager, but guess not. And to top it all off, the item was a dollar. So moral of the story, check if the items you're buying have a price tag. And if they don't, have an employee help print a tag before you get to the register.

Ended up here while looking for wall shelves and similar storage solutions. It was somewhat difficult for me to find what I was looking for. I kept ending up in the unofficial "storage solutions" section, which included over-the-door racks, drawer organizers, shower caddies, and various cabinet organizers. Figuring there had to be something else, I looked for an employee to ask for help and couldn't find anyone. The store was the size of a Wal-Mart, and the whole time I was there, I only saw two employees - one at a checkout counter and one stocking merchandise. Eventually, I asked the latter for help, and they seemed rather uninterested, like I was distracting them from something else. I usually prefer not being approached or guided by employees, but that's not the same as not being able to find any help when you have a question about a product. I did eventually find wall shelves in the "wall decor" section, which held things like picture frames, clocks, and wall art. That's not a problem, I just wish I was able to get help finding it and not have to just wander through the store lost. The shelves, clocks, and other wall installations were really haphazardly organized, as if they'd just been shoved onto the shelves in any random order. There wasn't a lot of variety in them, so we kind of settled for something mostly because we really didn't want to have to go to another home goods store. The store as a whole is... fine, I guess. But between the disorganization and the difficulties in finding anything (including someone to check you out), I wouldn't go there again.

Regardless of the name brand or size of the clothes, shirts and sweaters are $1.50. I think the most expensive thing is jeans at $ 3. Along with clothes, they also provide inexpensive household wares, jewelry, etc. As with any second hand store, they do a great job with turning over their material and it definitely changes every time I'm in there. The staff is warm and very friendly. They serve low-income residents in wayne county but welcome people who are coming in there to shop. I believe that part of their income comes from people shopping in their store. I have found name-brand purses and clothes in there, cashmere sweaters, etc. You have to look around but the values are excellent. Everything has been cleaned and I've never found dirty or stained clothes on the racks. If you need an update to your wardrobe or are looking for things for your house, I'd highly recommend.
