Staff here is great. It's clean and fully of treasures. I have noticed their prices are a tad higher than the Forest grove location. It is your typical Goodwill store. I visit often but it's not my favorite location. I find myself visiting other locations more because of the price difference. read more

This is a pretty clean goodwill. The drop off is really easy and the staff is incredible friendly! We use this one for drop off a lot, and really like the easy drive up. The selection inside is getting more retail. There are some new items mixed in throughout the store, which is nice. I enjoy the new socks! read more

There is something NOT RIGHT about being forced to purchase used, previously-donated, high-priced, clothing prior to trying it on (because the dressing rooms are shut down - unlike many other retail stores), AND not being able to return it for a refund (except for an in-store credit at ONLY the Goodwill store where it was purchased). The IRS should utilize some of its new-found Inflation Reduction Act funding to investigate "non-profit" Goodwill's unfair business-like practices that help to increase inflation and hurt consumers. read more

One of the absolute WORST Goodwill's to buy online from! The shipping prices are outrageous when you buy multiple items. On top of that, they must be way understaffed because it takes them over the allotted five business days to ship any items that are purchased online. Absolutely ridiculous! I've shopped Goodwill's all over the United States through online auctions and not once have I had such a horrible experience from Goodwill! I will definitely NEVER shop at this place again and recommend anybody that needs items shipped in a timely manner to avoid this place like the plague! DO NOT GO HERE! I had purchased a couple dresses for my girlfriend to try on, when I was checking out the employee that checked me out told me that I could get my money back before 30 days, but when I had returned the cloths they did tell mw I can get my money back from the slip they gave me, the next day I walked in to give them the slip and the manager had a snotty and annoyed attitude when all I was trying to do was get my money back, she then told me I was banned just for leaving in a frustrated manner as anyone would be, my girlfriend then later returned there to get our money back and she had told her the same thing but gave her an even worse attitude towards her for no reason and threatened to call the police just for wanting her money back. I will never be shopping here again and I recommend highly no else does either. read more

We have tried this location several times. The prices are too high. You have to hunt for something you want then cross your fingers the price is less than the local department stores. Not the cleanest store, nor does it have friendly employees. I will keep looking for a good resale store. read more

Awful store with terrible new manager and employees. They make announcements before closing time but confront you about leaving when it is not closing time. In the short time I was in the store, I was confronted three times to check out. And there was 10 minutes left to closing. The manager came up to me and told me this and I told her there was 10 minutes to go. Stop rushing your customers out the door! They won't return. Then as I checked out, one of their teenage employees had the gall and sarcastically thanked me for putting the cart away. Little girl, that's your job. Both should be fired. Until then, avoid this Goodwill at all costs! read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. I'm not sure if their goal was to make me feel like a piece of trash, but it was completed! I rolled up to Goodwill with my clothing donations and got yelled at by some goodwill employee who didn't even speak good English when leaving my car to put them in the bins. Because of corona virus, there is a two car limit but hey, there's no signage to indicate that so how was I, a young adult trying to donate things out of the goodness of my heart, supposed to know? I had to walk back to my car carrying a bag probably heavier than me and wait until the other cars cleared out. There's a HUGE line of annoyed cars behind me and the guy motions me to come up after like ten minutes, but then some guy with a U-haul completely cuts me off and they start unloading furniture. All while I am still trying to donate my clothing. FINALLY, I was able to donate my clothing and because of two nice men who helped me unload my boxes, I left. No thanks to Goodwill! If you're going to profit off of my donations, try having better customer service. On top of it all, I didn't get offered a receipt for my donation, and now my whole day is ruined. A big fan of goodwill clothing, but this was absolutely ridiculous. Not thinking about going back any time soon. read more

As far as Goodwills go this one can have nicer items and is a bit more expensive. It's easy to drop off donations and they always have parking. They don't have a very large furniture selection and every time I've gone in looking for home goods I've never really found anything (with the exception of bullet blender cups which was a great find). Boyfriend has sometimes found nice suits here for really good prices. I've noticed this location is also busier than others and often has a line for the checkout. Also important to note that returns can only be made within 30 days with the original tags and receipt. You can only get store credit and this store credit is only good for 30 days from the date of the return. read more

They say another man's junk is another man's treasure. That maybe true when you shop at Goodwill. In L.A., I grew up with a couple Goodwill's in the neighborhood. Most of the time, my family donated items such as clothing, appliances and knick knacks. It was not until I moved to Portland, that I noticed there was an abundant amount of Goodwills in the area. Left and right! I think there are more locations here than in L.A. After my trip to Plato's Closet (hoping that they would purchase more of my clothes), I headed to Goodwill to donate items that were no longer useful for me. At this location, the drop off area is on the opposite side of the entrance. There are a couple parking spots so you can easily transport your stuff. As I pulled into the parking spot, a kind and friendly employee was able to assist me. I was able to get a receipt and was well on my way. I wouldn't mind dropping off stuff at this Goodwill again. The people here are nice! I do hope that the junk I donated is useful for someone else! read more

So, I stopped here yesterday and I have to say I am BLOWN away!!! The prices for USED items here are CRAZY expensive! Seriously, just because it is Nike or Lucky Brand doesn't mean you charge prices that it costs for the same item new! I looked at a pair of Lucky brand jeans that were really worn and had a couple of stains and they wanted $49.99!! When did it get this way? I thought goodwill was supposed to help the community, not charge astronomical prices for items they get for FREE! I have to admit I will never come back to this place again. read more

Ok... So I had to try the place for myself as I generally find some good deals at the Goodwill store. I have to say, as the other reviews indicate, this place is way over priced. I mean, it's a thrift store and you can go to Target and get brand new items for the same price as some of their clothing. Go to Ross or Target if you're looking for clothing. read more

I recently purchased a Stereo Receiver and Subwoofer from this Goodwill. Before purchasing I asked the attendant at the register what the return policy was in case the equipment was defective. She replied that within 2 weeks I could return the items with the receipt and price stickers on them and I would get a full refund to my card, if it was within 30 days it would be a store credit. Knowing that I was taking a risk purchasing stereo equipment at Goodwill I felt that I was covered by the policy I was told. Well I went home and tested the equipment and shocker, both items were broken. I returned to the store to return the items and the attendant politely told me that I could only receive a store credit. I explained that I was told differently when I purchased the items and had I been correctly informed by the Goodwill employee I would have never bought the items. She was kind and called the supervisor to the front to speak with me. This is where things got worse. I explained the situation to the supervisor and she decided that smurking and telling me that their policy was to give back store credit would fix the situation. She gave no apology and assumed that I was wrong and had heard incorrectly. She did not apologize nor acknowledge any remorse for her employee's mix up nor did she try to mend the situation at all. She continued to end the conversation from there and gave the previous attendant gave me store credit. Needless to say I was frustrated. I have no need for $80 in store credit that must be used in 30 days. This policy was incorrectly given and the lack of customer service and empathy given the situation was offensive. Avoid this goodwill if you value service where you spend your money. On a side note. They are in a somewhat nicer area of town and often have outrageous prices on their items that are in line with brand new retail prices. I have never received proper service and have been especially disappointed when I have any need as a customer outside of just ringing up. read more

This is our favorite Goodwill that is close to our house. In other words, there are others nearby but this is the first one we go to for a quick stop. Nice selection, nice staff, parking is okay, right off the freeway. We take our puppy in for socialization --- I carry him, or put him in a cart and they are good with him in there, there is a never a problem and I see other people bring their WELL BEHAVED dogs in. Smallish size, or rather, not a lot of quality stuff for the size of the store. Definitely tucked back and not that well marked so it's difficult to see from the street. My husband found a good brand jacket for $12 in the activewear section, and we got some plates ($1-2 each). I feel like ALL the Goodwills out here have marked up the kitchen stuff. I guess if you find something good quality it's worth what they're asking, but if it's a no name generic made by slave labor kind of item I don't feel like it's worth it. Really terrible, gross show selection with a wall of very used sneakers. The other Goodwill in Beaverton (the one on Westgate) had a better vibe and was more pleasant to shop. read more

The best Goodwill around Tualatin Valley area. The stuff here is normally better than any of the other Goodwills in the surrounding area. I found nice electronics and frames at this place. For me it is like going to the flea market or rumage sale because there is always a hidden treasure that can be had for cheap. $80 Linksys router for $5 can't be beat. If you know what you're looking for and can see beyond the dirt there is a pearl hidden within the shell of this Goodwill store. Ironically, I haven't found any Monte Blanc or Sheaffer pens yet, but hidden in some box there they'll be hidden. read more

This is one store I went in & went out and bought a purchase totaling 30 items, that's more than what I bought @ Nordstroms which is zero! We were there half hour and found nothing. The only problem with this Goodwill store was their supervisor or was it their manager. I was helped by a cashier who was being let go for 'break', should I say change in shift? Both cashiers, I explained to them, I'm trying to hide from my hubby (standing just a few feet away from us (book section) and he doesn't know what I was buying and could she HURRY it up before he starts to wonder where I was . . . . I didn't even let another person line up behind me because my purchase had to be wrap up individually, since they are all breakable, and the 1st cashier had to call in for a box to put my purchase in. Knowing all this, the manager could also hear us talking, while she's ringing up my purchase & wrapping them at the same time, so it's really NOT slowing things down. But I guess the supervisor/manager had other chore for her to do and want her to SPEED UP more. How can one speed up wrapping 17 breakables? She doesn't know it needs to be done - carefully! Then she turned around by giving me, & the 2 cashiers (2nd one came back to make a purchase, also was helping her wrap my items up) a bad look! My only experience with this location is from donating at the donation drop-off. I've given several boxes of general purpose items such as dishes and clothes. I'm a fan of the Goodwill organization and one of the things I appreciate the most is how easy it is to donate. The first time I came here, I found it a little difficult to locate the donation drop-off. If you face the front of the building, it is along the left side near the back. There are a few parking spaces in front of a decorated sliding door. If nobody is out there, don't worry. There's a strip on the parking spots that alerts the employees inside when someone parks. There's also a bell by the door. Receipts are available for tax purposes, but I haven't donated anything of such high value that I want to claim it on my taxes so I can't review the receipts themselves. If you have stuff that you don't want or need and it's in resellable condition, take it to these folks. You'll be actively avoiding becoming a hoarder and those who need more than you will benefit. I LOVE this Goodwill. It's a treasure trove of used items for amazing prices. It seriously has to be the best Goodwill I have ever entered. The store is bright, clean and everything is well organized. I have snagged great deals on Lands' End jackets for myself and my nephews, various pieces of clothing from L.L.Bean, Abercrombie & Fitch even Hollister and Under Armour. My last visit I snagged a brand new Lands' End Squall Jacket (retail $79.50) for $7.99!! Can't beat that! My only fault with this store is that the checkout lines can get long. But seriously, with these kind of deals a litte wait isn't so bad! read more

I have found some really good clothing brands there, like an urban outfitters cardigan, a new Nike windbreaker, and some great American eagle jeans. However, the prices here are insane! I have seen $8 for an H&M or Forever 21 shirt, $20 for a jacket and much more. Overall, it's a great goodwill for finding better brands and items you're looking for, but the prices are much more than other goowills I have been to. read more

One of the highest priced Goodwills in the area. I'm not sure how Goodwills set their prices, but you can go the Goodwill Superstore on Cedar Hills BLVD and the items are significantly lower priced. I feel bad about this; I thought Goodwills were for helping the needy, not making money. read more

I don't know (or care) why this Goodwill has such low ratings. I love it. They had everything that I needed, a great selection of goodies that kept me there for almost an hour. While you can find some great treasures at this location, expect to pay a lot more than other goodwills.. Since going under new management this stores prices have skyrocketed, paying $30 for a pair of Lucky Brand jeans is not a bargain, you can buy them at Costco for that... I'll stick to other locations but it still doesn't hurt to check this one every now and then.. read more

I hit the Goodwill on Hwy 99 Tigard about once a month and never come away empty handed. I always spot something I've been needing -- a new, sometimes brand new, item like a trowel or photo frame I've been meaning to get. Last week I found a great little shoulder-strap bag that is exactly the size of my celI-phone plus a couple of credit cards or dollar bills. Perfect for going to the farmer's market or the gym when you don't want to carry a whole purse. This place always has lots of kids' toys and just great little odds and ends. I have come to this store a couple of times since it is close to my house. I prefer to shop at Value Village a couple of miles away because Goodwill is SO overpriced. I went there this morning with my daughter just to look around and kill some time. I was browsing and had stopped to look at something on a shelf. all of the sudden someone yelled at me "Ma'am, excuse me!" it was an employee with a cart trying to get by. I set down the nick knack I was looking at as quickly as i could so I get out of the way. Before I could even move, she yelled at me again. ----Is it that urgent? SO, i moved and continued shopping. When I went to check out I began setting my things on to the counter I had - a shower curtain, a picture frame, an apron and a small cotton ball container-. When I had set everything except the container on the counter the cashier said "Can you stop, let me ring this up first" ---okay. Then when i went to run my card was told "other way, OTHER WAY!", and when I tried to hit enter it didn't take so i tried to push it again. "Stop pushing it! you only need to push it once!". I'm sorry i don't know how the machine works, please bite my head off. So i told the man "Gee, I'm sorry but you are being a little rude." This is one of the larger Goodwill's that I've been to. It's easy to waste a couple hours just browsing the store. But that's it, all you do is browse because the prices are disgustingly high for second-hand goods. Sure, the brands are of higher quality (it is a rather affluent neighborhood), but I am not going to spend $15 on a used shirt when I could go get a new one for half that price. If you look hard enough you can find some deals, I've found a $50 bag for $2.99, and a $80 jacket for $12. Still, the employees know what a good or bad brand is, so deals like that are few and far between. Check every rack, including sizes that you don't wear, that ish gets mixed the hell up. read more

I am so disappointed in Goodwill anymore. I can easily find the same thing new for cheaper and often better brands. They totally overprice everything I have looked at. Their return policy stinks!!!!! You have 7 days to return without use but you only get an in-store credit that must be used in 30 days. I really don't think Goodwill should even qualify as a charity. They get everything for free and then way overcharge and their CEO of the Portland branch makes over $700,000 a year. Such a racket! read more
