Went here as part of my enjoyment of thrifting but also for my job developing for work. Why can't I enjoy a little thrifting while trying to get my folks hired? I spoke to the manager who actually more attentive and pleasant than the Redmond store managers. The lay out of this particular Goodwill is ok, the shoes are kept up organized. They have a power strip ready to be used to test out electronics and though I know it's hard to keep the children's section tidied up, it was surprisingly organized. The highlight of my visit here was that I found some good condition Jordan Proto-max 720 sneakers in my size. I'm not a giant sneaker head...just a tiny bit and could tell before looking it up it was a steal. After doing so, I was right - $29.99 but they go for over $130! They may be dead stocked at this point. Needless to say, these were scooped immediately. read more

They have a lot of new stuff they are selling on the end caps here. The jewelry section is a land mine of antique, unique and vintage pieces. A lot of cool things for decorating the house and for the kitchen. The place is clean and not crowded. Definitely a much chiller Goodwill. read more

So you should know who spoke to me today. Again thank you for your insights!! Wish more folks were as well informed...(redmond GW staff at drop off that was temporary closed - was not). So under Covid, here is the new drill and factors affecting the drop off wait, which can be from 15 minutes to 2 hours. A. They need you to place your items in the correct containers (clothes into clothes etc)...is a safety thing with Covid. So yes this takes extra time. B. Lots of people moving and downsizing so they are seeing a huge increase in donations. C. Good News: They have an intense sterilization process that happens to all donations This means they process donations more slowly from receiving them to getting them sorted and out on the floor. This protects you and their staff. So do a good thing, donate needed items and be ready for a wait. Bring a book, some water and a good attitude ... hopefully you will feel great having done a donation. They change their tag sale weekly, and this week was Pink 50% off (may 15). I found out from front desk the last day of the tag sale, which is a Monday all pink items are $1.99!!! What a steal. Got 6 tops for $30 (2 were pink tags). Surprised by some of the brands in there: shein, Nordstrom, banana republic, polo, loft. Yeet yeet!!! Highly recommend Goodwills on the eastside. This is my local neighborhood Goodwill and my husband and I have frequented this place for years. We have found everything and anything you could imagine; from a microwave, kitchen chairs, puzzles, board games, a bed room nightstand,etc.. it's always a hit or miss when coming to a place like this but I find the quality of items (whether it's clothes or furniture) pretty good and prices seem reasonable. You'll find from time to time brand new items with tags and all, which is a treat. I enjoy coming here from time to time to do a little window shopping, or if I run into a nice deal. The parking lot is huge, by the way. I haven't had issues with donating items but since covid the regulations around donating has changed and is usually different from day to day, if accepting donations or not. The staff are super helpful and friendly so please be patient. One thing I thought was nice was while I was shopping they placed a hold tag on a few of the furniture items I was purchasing, so I could continue my shopping and come by and pick them up at my convenience. read more

My sister and I found and item, went up to pay for it and the lady ringing us up decided to change the price of the item. I thought I had read the price tag wrong when she gave me a new price until I got home. The item did not have the old price tag or the newest price tag. unbelievabl! read more

What a lovely goodwill! Easy to find location with a very large parking lot. Large floor plan which is nicely laid out. Lots of men and women's clothing and shoes. Jewelry selection is large as well. This location doesn't seem to get as much children's clothing, but a lot of what I did find was of the more expensive brands, reasonably priced. I didn't get a chance to browse any of the other sections but there seemed to be a medium sized selection of furniture, and nice dishes/trinkets/etc. The staff that I had interactions with were all very friendly. This place is the best! I can always find with I'm looking for here. I will always go here before going to a big store since most the time I can find what I would have gotten for less than half the price and often with the original tags! The staff is so nice when checking out and it's really fun to browse and see what the weirdest thing you can find is. read more

One item is $4.99 and the other less dusty but no price tag. Of course I want the cleaner one and better handle bar, I showed them both and his charging me $7.99 for the cleaner one. Im telling you this older asian guy is a piece of something and very rude with his tonality. Its the way he said it thats very demeaning, I asked if I can have the same price since its the same item, same quality but the other is very dusty, his very rude. I'm a fan of this small but well stocked with treasures goodwill store. The staff are courteous and helpful. The store is usually tidy and well organized and the restrooms are consistently clean. I've never waited more than a minute or two to checkout. The neighborhood includes drug treatment centers and across the street is a secure mental heath hospital so you'll be glad to know the parking lot is well patrolled by the Kirkland police (or K-Po, my mom calls them!). read more

I was assisted by Mark, An employee of Goodwill in Juanita ,Washington. I was looking for a specific item that was without a box ,without a name and was hard to define color. It could've been called purple ,black ,brown or green ?as it was a dark color.He went out of his way for approximately 15 minutes to search the entire collectibles area looking for this specific item..Prior to my phone calls to Goodwill I had called Nordstrom's in bellevue , Washington. Nordstrom's has always been known for their exemplary customer service.Today was no exception , Norstroms was cordial and accommodating.However, Goodwill in Juanita, Washington Has truly exceptional staff from management down to the load out staff in the back warehouse.They make Nordstrom's look mediocre! Drop off is impossible. I wasted 30 minutes of my lunch and then gave up. They had 6 people emptying boxes/bags and sorting items. Only one person dealing with the 30+ cars in line that snaked through the entire parking lot. Very inefficient and disappointing because I would rather give my items to them than any other place. My husband and I don't go to Goodwill stores often but this was a special occassion as we were collecting children's books to be mailed as a gift to one particularly good school in Ivory Coast in Africa. We were very impressed with a clean, well-structured and perfectly maintained store and found a good number of excellent books. But what was even more impressive is the attitude of the supervisor Eric with whom we were lucky to meet. Eric exemplifies best customer service traits, being friendly, open, and generous. After he heard about the reason of all those books' purchase, he gave us a substantial discount and invited us to come again. Eric shared his business card with us and overall made this trip to the store truly inspiring and unforgettable. I waited to write this review until I knew that all three boxes arrived safely. They did, and the first thirty children received their English books to read and enjoy. Judging by their faces, they are very happy. Many thanks to Eric again! I have found so many great finds at this goodwill! I frequent here quite often since it's in my neighborhood and I have to say this is a very clean and well up-kept location. The quality of the clothing, furniture and everything else is very good compared to other goodwill locations or even other thrift stores I have been too! I live like a block away so I come to this Goodwill often. I would say it's pretty hit or miss, as most thrift stores are. I've recently noticed that the pricing at this store is very inconsistent. Like maybe one person who prices things reasonable for a thrift store and another person is trying to charge top dollar to increase revenue. For example, today I saw a dollar store item that was obviously not brand new (kids sticker thing, had been opened) and it was priced at $4.99. Also today, candles; big heavy new candle for $3.99 and $4.99 for little, already lit candle (Fred meyer $6.99 brand new). $5.99 for a half used wickless and multiple other basically trash. Purchasing clothes there is a joke, Ross is cheaper or at least brand new. It's not uncommon to find stuff that's worn but priced higher than it is brand new; Walmart brands are a good example of that. It's just kinda ridiculous, thrift stores should be the least expensive place to buy clothes because it's all used. It's unfortunate this isn't true. But there are good finds sometimes. read more

A very frustrating experience this morning at the Kirkland Goodwill. 9;50 AM I call them to see if they accept TV donations. Why yes they do I am told. I arrive at 10:03 AM and already 8 cars ahead of me in line. Wow! 10:07 AM they start the line for unloading one car at a time. Essentially everyone is unloading their vehicles and being directed to place articles on specific boxes. Three cars out I ask one of the male workers if someone would be assisting me in unloading my 42" Panasonic TV. Told 'no problem'. 35' post arrival I ready to unload and ask for assistance and am now told after some hemming and hawing, 'we don't take TVs!' Whaaat? I leave exasperated and call again and am 10' on my way home. I am reassured that 'yes, indeed we accept TVs'. 'The unloaders don't work for us directly and I will inform their boss of this issue'. How nice. Kirkland Goodwill needs to be renamed: Badwill Kirkland. Over the years I have contributed to more than 10-12 Goodwills in several states. This stands out as my worst ever experience at one of their stores. Rated 4/5 I don't think so! read more

I like to stop by this location on Mondays because items are $1.79 & you can find tons of stuff still new with tags from Target for a grear re-sell. Also, Im not sure many people know about this location because its in Juanita. You can find a good amount of Free People, Madewell, Johnny Who & DVF here. Its like walking through the high end side of Bel-Square mall. But, I usually pass on those items because I dont like to pay the mark up on them. read more

I think one of the things that hit me as I started writing this is I don't recall this particular location having that Goodwill smell. That's a good thing too. This location is large, well-organized, and has nice employees. The tidiness and spaciousness make it easy and enjoyable to shop here. On my most recent trip, I found a Pottery Barn crib that's similar to the one we bought new. It was in great condition and cost $25, a huge fraction of what we paid new. The toy section is small, but there is a nice little area where the ride-on toys and larger toys are. Seems like a nice area to test drive. Perhaps the selection isn't as large as other toys, but it makes me feel like they really weed out the unsellable stuff. In doing so, it saves me time. Do not try to drop goods off at this location. They are so inefficient, it takes a very long time for each car to drop off items, and they only allow one car at a time. 15 cars in front of me and it has taken 68 minutes. They left me sitting at the front of the line for eight minutes. They were basically sorting each cars worth of donations before they let the next car come up read more

Donation drop off is an impossible situation. Line up of cars snaking through the parking lot. Store management is aware of the situation and chooses to ignore it. Total mismanagement of resources and total indifference to people trying to help with donations. I love this thrift store! It's located at the former location of Albertson's. Rite Aid is next door. They have a great selection and variety and their prices are great. I found so many good things that I can re-use at a fair price at this location. Namely an L.L. Bean tote bag for $2.99, a Calphalon pot for $6.99, 99 cents for the matching lid, a watch to use when I ski for $3, and so much more. Prices are reasonable and affordable. I hope they do not raise their prices to the point that I do not want to shop here. If you decide to test electronic items, the testing outlets are near the book section against the wall. Every time I've stopped by it was not crowded. It's a nice shopping experience. The cashiers are nice, friendly, and helpful. I love that they have a public restroom in the rear of the store. Huge wait for drop off. There has to be a better system. 20 cars and 60+ minute wait time?!? People are sorting their own stuff and each car is taking forever to unload their items. Why isn't the staff sorting items? Maybe I'm not used to this location but it's very inefficient. This really can be done in half the time. read more

I live only a couple of blocks away, so I decided to show up for the grand opening right at 9:00 when they opened. I figured there might be twenty people in line? Nope. The line was around the building. It actually looks pretty jazzy for a Goodwill store. It's in the location of the former Albertson's. The building had been vacant for several years, The parking lot was packed. I thought, hmm... maybe I should come back later, but then I figured that as long as I was parked, I might as well go in. The line moved along pretty quickly, and they had employees applauding us as we trooped in..Just after I got in I saw a pair of Boston Acoustics bookshelf speakers for ten bucks, and I thought "SCORE!" and so I grabbed them and got in line at the cash register. Short line for the registers that early in the day. I went back about an hour later, thinking that things would have cleared out by then and I could sort of peruse the rest of the place. Nope. Sill plenty of shoppers wandering around and the line was now wrapped around the inside of the store waiting to get to the cash registers. People do love a good deal in this neighborhood you're going to see some 'quality' donations. read more

Juanita Goodwill - Packed parking lot, line around the building at Grand Openning - Thrift Stores Near Me - Kirkland, Washington

Showed up today around 5 pm to look for a couple items and as I pulled up there was several staff members outside with a guy, who ended up being a shoplifter, (good for them for catching him), but the staff that had to unload the furniture and take it back inside was VERY unprofessional. There was one guy in particular that was not wearing a mask, though he worked there, he was swearing loudly (various words were said multiple times during his couple trips back and fourth) and talking about the shoplifters race, which didn't need to be mentioned, let alone IN FRONT OF HIM. Then within 5 feet they DROPPED the table twice on the ground and joke around about it. They shoved it across the floor for about 10 feet causing a very loud terrible sound, obviously just causing a bigger scene. Super disappointed in this trip for several reasons. read more

So, this is the cleanest Goodwill I've been in. Well organized and I happened to be there on the day a guy was playing really well on one of the donated pianos. Apparently he's regular and made it feel like I was shopping at a Nordstrom. The PRICES also made it feel like I was shopping at a Nordstrom. I found most prices to be waaaaay too high for a thrift store. In the kids clothing section I found worn Carters pajamas priced the same as they are new. And in the toy section a bag of Minnie Mouse dolls with clip on clothes for $15bucks...come on. These are $9.99 at Target new. Even toy collectors aren't going to fork out $$ for over priced, mismatched, missing pieced toys. Goodwill is a thrift store selling used stuff, they're going to get in trouble if they keep pricing stuff like this. Hey Goodwill here's a hint....People who go to Goodwill are usually on a budget or they'd be buying stuff new. read more

A lot of folks are complaining about the donation line here, so I'm chiming in. I went to make a donation at the start of their (limited) donation hours and had to wait in line for over an hour before I could hand over my goods. When I got there, I saw that just two people were unloading and sorting everything from the dozens of cars rolling through. Talked to them and they told me that all stores are short staffed - the two of them were doing the job of 8 people. Despite being overworked (this site was the only donation site for miles), all of the staff I met were friendly and helpful. Five stars for the staff at this store, one removed because the corporation should pay their employees better. read more

I seriously love this goodwill. I live in Seattle and will travel to this goodwill. It's affordable. I can hardly afford the things in the Seattle goodwill. A shirt in the Seattle capital hill goodwill is as much as a brand new shirt. I needed to find a nice dress for a wedding and I found one here and it was affordable. It is a very clean goodwill and lots of selections. The staff is friendly and helpful. The clothes are organized by size. They usually have two people while checking out ! It's not a long wait in line ! I didn't even realize this goodwill existed. This is the best goodwill. I kinda don't even wanna write a review because I wanna keep this location all to myself. I've been shopping at this particular goodwill for the better part of 5 years, visiting a couple times a week to browse/purchase or to donate. Typically the prices are so-so, the manager is extremely arrogant and was boarder line aggressive when I questioned why something was $100. I looked it up myself and found the same item new online for $50 and she tried to give me some story about now she knew alll about it and that it's some designer item. Have fun with that. I have run into this problem before when trying to purchase items without a marked price, because the cashiers will just ask a manager and the pricing is just very arbitrary, often quoting a higher price than similar items on the shelf. I hope they can find management with some manners who can speak to customers with respect. read more
