You see, Doug is this guy who works here, hounding customers upstairs. I've been there when he has asked me no fewer than eight times if I'm "okay." Yes, I'm sure he thinks I'm there to steal things. No, I'm not there to steal things. Never have been, never will. Zero record of any kind, in fact. The effect of Doug's shrinkage reduction tactics is to prevent me from *buying* anything. I have many antique-loving and vintage-loving friends who also despise the hounding tactics and no longer shop here as a result. I recommend trying Star Center Antique Mall instead. No hounding there.

My…read morehusband spotted this antique and collectibles shop while driving through Maple Valley, and I'm so glad we decided to pull over! ​As soon as we walked in, the female owner greeted us warmly and kindly explained the best way to navigate through the store. Following her advice, we explored the packed aisles and found so many unique and interesting items--from vintage signs to quirky collectibles (they even have a giant shark hanging from the ceiling!). ​While value is definitely in the eye of the beholder when it comes to antiques, my husband and I had a wonderful time looking around together. We didn't end up finding anything we couldn't live without this time, but it's a fantastic place to browse. We would definitely stop by again if we are in the area!

Although not in service at the time of writing, there is a salon inside where you could get your hair done accompanied by a drink (or two!) Loads of unique vendors with classic toys, handmade jewelry, statues, with knickknacks and bric-a-brac galore. Definitely stop by, meet some friendly faces, grab a cocktail, take some pictures, and leave with a new treasure to decorate your home. Very fun place!

There it was sitting atop another table, the Holy Grail of my coffee table crusade. It was a true Danish piece, it was teak, it was vintage, and most importantly it wasn't ridiculously over-priced like a lot of tables on eBay or Craigslist. I must have had a completely different experience then some of the other reviewers at Antique Importers. The owner, Chris I believe his name is, was very friendly the entire time I was in the store. He never followed me around with his arms crossed, scowling, or treating me like a potential criminal, and yes, I do fall into the 25-30 year old looking age range. Actually, he was quite helpful and answered several questions that I had regarding the table and even took $10 off the delivery cost for me as I didn't live too far away from the store. Oh, and they even delivered the table on a Sunday evening after they closed! How many places have service like that these days? None of this "we'll be around sometime between 1pm-4pm on a Wednesday" b.s. that most places stick you with. If you're looking for larger furniture pieces, tables, chairs, sideboards etc, then you should check out Antique Importers for sure. If you're looking for smaller, more decorative items, then this might not be the best place, but there are more then a few of those shops close by in Pioneer Square.

The store offers space on consignment to others. Each space is it's own little 'shop' and each item tagged with the price and vendor number. I saw some very nice older quilts and other household linens like pillow cases, doilies and what not. There are plenty of glasses, license plates, toys, records, metal goods, kitchen wares, jewelry. A bit of everything. The staff were pleasant. The store can be a bit overwhelming. You really have to 'look' carefully to see it all. You could spend a few minutes or a couple of hours. Out front they had a grocery cart holding the door open filled with 'free' treats. On this date, lemon pies that were approaching their expiration date. It's just a nice little offering to the community. Definitely worth a stop in. I found a few things I would purchase if we lived in the area. Prices were good with a few exceptions.
