I wear layered clothing or leggings and a slim fitting top. The store is well organized and sections are clearly marked. As with many thrift stores there are different colors marked down every day please listen for the announcements or check the board. I would recommend grabbing a cart because last time I went I found quite a bit and was carrying around my treasures. As with thrifting you never know what you are going to discover. The last time I went I came out with two fantastic finds one a H&M black cotton dress suitable for work wear and take you straight into evening or happy hour. The ruffle tiered dress I admit I paid more than I wanted to but Google came to the rescue and I saw several original retail prices and I found it over $ 100.00 brand new so I decided to splurge and purchase the dress. Service I can't comment on because I usually don't ask for help and there is self checkout available. But I don't know if my last encounter with customer service I should be flattered or insulted. I was checking out my items and the lady that was working at the front thought I was stealing my OWN jacket that I came in wearing! I said this jacket is mine check the cameras I was wearing it when I came in here! All in all a great thrift store but give yourself time because there is so much to look at. I find if I give myself time I find more treasures rather than just rushing through. Also, keep your finds close at hand with the case of the orange ruffle dress after people saw me put it on they were asking if I was going to purchase it while I was trying it on! Always grab a cart because there is so much good stuff. Or not-up to you. I like to peruse almost every aisle, looking at each item of clothing- I got a whole system down. Of course I'm paying attention to the color tag sale of the day, but if it's cute, it's going in the cart. The women's section is great but the men's section is good too. Their racks are packed full. They don't have fitting rooms but there are mirrors if you'd want to pull something over your clothes to try on. What's great is that they also have bathrooms. Very convenient especially when you're shopping a long time. The store also has kids clothes, shoes, small furniture, housewares, toys etc. Did I mention they have a lot of stuff? The store is clean, organized and the employees are friendly. Some items can be pricey, sure, but it's all about rummaging through to find those hidden gems and getting a good deal. I think it's fun. I truly love this place and always come back when I'm in town.

Finally, I thought to call them and the recording sent me upstairs between Walgreens & Safeway. Who knew?! Absolutely zero signage. Mystery staircase, walkway, boarded up windows- hark, a faded logo on a locked door. I almost left, but then noticed a black garbage can with a clipboard on top. Leave your email & they'll send you a receipt. Sigh. I wanted to know if they also take shampoo, took a chance & left it along with a warm down jacket. Like I said, the jacket has a small hole, & nobody I spoke to wanted it, so it was either find a cold street person or hope the jacket will go to a good home. So, I give these angels 4 stars for the good work they do- assuming it's everything listed on their website. Minus 1 star for zero visibility from the street level. A sign or two would certainly bring them much more donations.

Everything is organized in sections and labeled. Again, a lot of variety. The book section is grand and I like how they're also organized by topics. Only thing that was a deterrent with this store was the pricing. Sure, you can look for the 50% color tag on some items to get a discount and possibly find a hidden gem of a deal, BUT Ross and Marshalls are literally across the street and they have all this new stuff for the same or even cheaper price (at least what I saw clothing wise). I personally wouldn't go out of my way to this location. I would think with so many items being donated, you'd find a fair price to keep items circulating and truly being a thrift price. First up, the find of the day was the Kate Spade leather purse. It was untagged and sold to me for $10. It doesn't need much TLC, so I'll call that a come up. The second is the animal print bag by Anthropologie. Calf hair on the outside and though there's some wear, it is so minimal. It was a good find especially because I prefer smaller bags. The tan bag might not be leather, but it was cute and reminded me of simpler times so I got it. It's an easy book bag or something to throw a kindle/iPad in and head out. Lastly is the Abbott Vintage leatherwork bag. Practically new and $6.99. I've come here over the years and have lucked up on bags, sometimes shoes, and usually coats or blazers. I'll continue to come back as long as they're here, though I lucked up so good that it might be a while. Oh wait... all clothing is $2.99 January 23 & 24. I just might be back sooner than later!

They have a whole bunch that you have to use two plastic shopping baskets to mimic a two basket mini shopping cart but they don't have any plastic shopping baskets to use. What is wrong with management here? This store has gone downhill.
