Hey-O!!! A new Goodwill just a couple of blocks from my house. Oh yeah! The best thing about this good will is that it is new, clean, and organized! How long this will last another question though. Like most Simi Valley Thrift stores this Goodwill has a lot of clothing. A LOT!! Furniture selection is pretty limited but the pieces I saw were in good condition and fairly priced. Not much in the way of electronics or appliances but I'm sure that may change over time. The parking lot is a bit cramped in front of the store due to Chi Chi's always being very busy but the connecting Albertson's parking lot isn't far away. I'll definitely be a regular at this Goodwill especially since the other location is on the other side of town. Stopping here also gives me a good reason to get some Baskin Robbins since it's in the same shopping center ;)

Hello! I go to this store fairly often and I always tell the cashiers how clean and organized this store looks, they work very hard to make that store look as good as it does. In comparison to most thrift shops which are dirty and over stocked with junk, this location prides itself on cleanliness and putting out quality products at fair prices. I have never bought something from this store that I didn't love and the return policy is very generous as far as thrift stores go! The managers are very pleasant and always willing to go the extra mile to help out with customers. On one occasion, I witnessed a homeless woman try to steal shoes and freak out on one of the cashiers who confronted her about it and the manager Julia handled it very well. I recommend this location to all my friends and I will continue to shop here for many years to come! :) 5/5 one of the best places to shop in Simi Valley!

A place that sells clothes and has no place to try them on gets 1 star... It's pretty simple.

Not sure why my pictures didn't upload…read more Either way, this place is quite nice as far as thrift/vintage stores go. You're paying a bit more than you might at other places, but these items are cleaner and better curated for sure! They have a wide variety of items as well, and in all it was an enjoyable adventure. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a vintage bargain. :)

Beacon House is this very large thrift store. Walking into it, you're immediately amazed at just…read morehow large it is and how much stuff they offer. Truly, they really have a lot of stuff! This thrift store is very well organized. Perhaps that's one of the most interesting things about it. They even have their clothing organized by size. So, this makes shopping for that vintage piece of clothing much easier. This is something that few other thrift stores do. And, it's really appreciated. Because, it makes the whole shopping experience, not only easier but more enjoyable. Beacon House has far more than just clothing, however. This shop is stuffed full of all kinds of everything else, from electronics, to kitchen goods, to musical items, to LPs, cassette tapes, pretty much anything you can think of, they've got something. As is the case with all thrift stores, the inventory at this business is constantly changing. So, going in here one day may be very different from going in the next day. You will never know what you're gonna find. And, that's what makes this business a really unique shopping experience. So, if you're one of those people that enjoy going to thrift shops, seeking out antiques, vintage items, discarded items that nobody really cared about, or pretty much anything else, this is a great place to go. Of all the thrift stores in the area, this is definitely one of the best.

Visited this store for the very first time, had been very excited to come since noticing it…read more The selection is mostly towards little girls I would say overall; like they have more girl items than boy items, which is fine. They did have cute stuff although the prices for the bigger items like the baby play mats, rocking horse, play yard, etc, were nothing to write home about. The prices on the clothes seemed good. And they had a selection of toys which err'd on the side of pricey for being used toys, and some weren't in good condition. I did like the store, as a thrift aficionado, but the thing that stood out to me most about this store was that the customer service was sub-par. The lady at the counter seemed annoyed by the presence of me and my family and when it was just after 06:30pm, she made sure to let us know that she was closing in "15 minutes," even though the store closes at 7PM. She also said something to my 2 year old son that I didn't quite hear when I was a few steps away, and the tone of her voice wasn't very kind. I understand people have bad days and that some store owners don't enjoy you perusing their store for a while when your baby wants to look around- I honestly would've bought something if I'd found something I wanted. I think based on that experience I wouldn't return here but would instead go to the other thrift store up the street, Tiny Treasures, I believe it's called. They are always so friendly in there. This Cribs 2 Teens did have a beautiful wooden rocking horse for $50 that I keep thinking about.

Highly recommend the store if your kid is quickly outgrowing, clothing, toys, shoes, etc the value…read morefor your money is totally worth it as well as trade-ins for store credit is awesome.
