DO NOT come on a weekend . It's a madhouse in there ! You'd think it's the only GW store in town! Lines to the back of the store like Black Friday . Stay far away! They don't have anything better than any of the other locations in rougher parts of town. Way too many people and way too few parking spots = a big headache! Worst GW in town imo as far as overcrowding goes . They need to open a larger store if they are going to draw crowds that cause the line to go to the back of the store . It's not safe to have that many people in such a small area. Also, for men's shoes they have mainly sizes 11 and up. Not much variety there. Avoid ! read more

I'm a FAN! This Goodwill always has something great!! Locating between great neighborhoods means you will find some great finds here! I've found tons of J.Crew dresses (all for 9.99!), tops from Anthropologie & lots of other brands I love but aren't willing to shell out the clams full price for. My latest find was a pair of Croc boots for my son (4.99) that were brand new (look at the website & they retail for almost 10x that!). I'm always finding great things. This is a great place for both donations and purchases. I donate here a few times every year (various things ranging from tv's to clothing to kitchenware and the like). The staff is super friendly and helpful and gives you a tax deduction form super quickly, and also helps you unload stuff from your car (especially super heavy furniture)! Purchasing clothes is also great here. I bought two pairs of scrubs for $17 (usually a pair is $20) and a Victoria's Secret wool jacket for $10 (MSRP $90). Super awesome deals here! The staff is super friendly and offers you help whenever you need it. There are ample dressing rooms for you to try on clothes, and there is a sizeable furniture, book and appliances section as well. Clothes are arranged by color (not necessarily size) for optimal organization purposes given the constant change of inventory that is available. Bottom line - this is a great place to both donate and purchase items! read more

Went to this location to donate two clean large rugs in very good condition. Person seemingly in charge of donation intake gave me a scowl at first glance. Then, without any greeting, they asked "are they clean?", to which I responded with the truth. Didn't take my word for it and unbundled both wrapped and bound rugs for an inspection, which they passed. Finally, cast them back on the ground, unrolled, uttered a curt "Thank you.", turned and walked away, and did not offer me a receipt for my donation. I was surprised, as almost without fail, at other Goodwill locations, the personnel have been most gracious and friendly. Clean up your act. You depend on people like me to donate. This Goodwill was great! Their staff were actually nice unlike ones by my old house. It was clean enough considering it's a thrift store, they actually had everything decently sorted, and they even have restrooms! I've never been to a thrift store with bathrooms so that was great considering how long it takes to properly look through a thrift store for some treasures and not have to rush to go find a bathroom elsewhere. Good quality stuff for a Goodwill. Clean. Organized. Nice staff. However, I give it 3 stars because the prices are a tad high for what you would expect at a goodwill. Examples, I saw a used small bathroom/kitchen rug for $10 and their women's jeans/sweaters are $6. They do run a lot of sales and specials though so that helps with the price if you catch them on the right day. Overall would recommend! read more

Ok to be honest, yes the parking is annoying most days. Yes the store can be quite chaotic as far as it being busy and things not being well organized (the shoes). BUT if you give yourself some time and try and go during a week day there are tons of great finds here. There are lots of higher end clothes and I have found some great kitchenware as well! This store is constantly restocking and if you look into the window of the stock room it is packed full of more stuff. The check out staff has always being more than friendly. The shoe section is a hot mess, I think they just need a bigger store because they seem filled to the brim with donations! read more

I've been to this goodwill 10 or so times and this is my go-to store for thrifting. Great pricing, great finds! Call me cheap for shopping at Goodwill, but I love this place and have gotten so many great wardrobe staples here. Since they opened earlier this year I've spent far too much money here. I always tell myself I'll just "look around" but I just seem to have an eye for the high quality brand name clothes that you find for great prices. I've found really nice work attire, Ann Taylor Suits and Blazers for $9.99, Banana Republic work pants, fancy dresses, also for $10. Pants and nice shirts I think are $7.99, and I've even gotten brand new Nike workout gear for $3.99 with the $48 price tag still on. And that doesn't even begin to get into all the books, furniture, and home appliances you can find. To make myself sound like a little bit less of a shopaholic, let me also say I've donated dozens of bags full of things here as well. They always make the process super easy, and I feel good about decreasing my clutter while giving to people who will use it. So if you like shopping, take some time to dig through and I promise you'll find some hidden treasures, or just be a good Samaritan and donate anything you don't need anymore. read more

I'm always amazed how people are able to find name brand clothing for a fraction of the actual cost. So I decided to begin my search after deciding not to spend so much money searching for theme clothing for a bachelorette trip. To my surprise, I found some really nice dresses in great condition, ann taylor loft, banana republic and zara. The shocker, I bought 4 dresses and a top for $30!!! I'm hooked! I can't wait to start my next trip. The only con is that you need to be patient while searching. read more

Store is clean but their staff is terrible. There were only 2 registers open and both cashiers were helping 2 customers with 2 full carts with China each and no one came to help out. One cashier was new and was ringing up items wrong and no one came to help him so the 1st cashier stopped helping her customer to help the new cashier 20 minutes go by and a lady comes and apologizes for the wait stating she will help us shortly. 15 minutes go by and a young guy opens up a registered and doesn't bother to get the next available person in line. He says he didn't have a chance, I'd say "good afternoon the line is at the other register, get situated and get the next available person in line" it's doesn't requiere rocket science. I purchased 3 items to ship my donations it should take almost an hour. read more

Okay store. A bit pricier than I'm used to ($10 for dresses instead of $5 that im used to in the Georgia area), but that could just be because I'm from Georgia, and this is the way things are priced at thrift stores up here. I didn't personally find anything I wanted, but my friend got an absolutely adorable gingham red and white dress. Perfect picnic dress, with a flowey skirt. What makes this place a 3 instead of a 2 star, however, was the layout. Really well placed clothing, very specific, and very organized. It seemed to me they separated the vintage (and "old fashioned") clothing from the newer, more modern styles of clothing. I really liked this type of layout in a store, and I wish more Goodwills implemented it, because a lot of people are into vintage finds these days. A layout like this makes perfect sense, and makes the experience of shopping of things way more rewarding and less time consuming. I was just visiting, so I can't say for other thrifting days, because I know the beauty of thrifting is finding lots of things one week, and very little the next. It's all about the recent hauls. I do feel like this place could be perfect f you had something specific in mind that you were looking for, but for browsing purposes it seemed a little underwhelming. Really easy store to navigate about, though the walkways between racks were fairly close together and difficult to fit even a single cart in. The bathroom was also really nice, separated from the store as if it was an extra addition from the original layout. Probably the cleanest one I've ever seen in a Goodwill, to be honest. More Goodwills should at least attempt cleanliness like this store, because it made the experience a much better one. read more

I just bought a pair of Stuart Weizmann black leather pumps for $7.99. They are in beautiful condition and retail for $360! That fact alone makes this location hands-down amazing! I have been to many Goodwill stores, and none of them compare to the quality of items found at this one. read more

I gave them 1 star because 0 wasn't an option.THIS STORE SUCKS!!!! there are no good items to be found here. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS! No one in their right-mind would give $10 for a USED dress. I saw more walmart and target than anything and some played out forever 21. $5 for size 4 kids summer dress and $4 for the same size skirt. HAVE YOU LOST IT? They wanted to charge me the cost of a jacket for a cardigan. This is the highest priced thrift shop that I have ever been in. I will NOT be back. I will not spend my time sifting through crap that I wouldn't pay those prices for brand new, let alone still have to check it over for stains and holes. What was once a nonprofit place for people to get decent things (at a bargain) that they might not otherwise be able to afford new, is now an outrageously overpriced organization....who in my opinion, PREY ON THE POOR! read more

Got ripped off by these clowns who can't add at the register. Make sure to double check what you're getting and how much it supposed to cost. They're imbeciles and will gladly rip you off if you're not paying attention. Count your items and you're totals. All I can say is wow and a job well done guys! I have never seen such an organized thrift store with such great finds. The staff was really nice too. I brought my sister here from San Diego and she was also very impressed. We both found some cute dresses that were hot in style. We would have found more but didn't have the time to shop any longer. Nothing extra ordinary, but staff greets pleasantly, store is clean and well organized, and clothing is thoughtfully and artistically hung by color. Found some nice housewares (basket, necklace rack), pajama bottoms and a black purse I'd been searching for. Definitely worth a look, and is near to Bluebird if planning a trip (which wasn't open yet due to early hour, so I have no opinion). Prices are not perhaps as low as they could/ should be, but for a good cause. No offensive odor as others have suggested. read more

Go for the men's shirts. I have found a number of local Hamilton shirts. These are custom and go for over $200. I also found a whole cache of custom New York shirts that somebody apparently got tired of. There were 10, I bought 8 of them. Probably cost $200 per. Here? $6. Paid $20 to have collars redone on each one. Regularly find Brooks Brothers shirts here too. Found a nice white Brioni here, but it didn't fit. Pro tip. TRY IT ON. If the collar fits well, everything else on the shirt can be tailored. I normally get the sides taken in. $14 per shirt. I have found many shirts not in my size that fit well...so TRY THEM ON. read more

I just walked out of the store, at 7:00 on and I am very upset. The quality of the clothes and all was great and I'm happy with my purchase, but the service I received at the register is what really made me mad. My total was $19.44, and all I had was a hundred dollar bill, one ten and one five. so I handed the cashier my hundred and she made a big fuss saying she didn't have at least five twenties. Her coworker offered to go to the back and get change but she responded "no don't do that, I got in trouble last time I did that and I don't want it to happen again." The prices weren't like any other goodwill I usually visit in Dallas, so I knew she had to have change. So I went outside and got more change from my dad to make the purchase. When she opened her register, I peeked over the counter and saw multiple fifties and twenties. it wasn't that hard to count off her fingers and save me the inconvenience. She was rude and not helpful, which is the complete opposite of what costumer service at a goodwill should be. I didn't get the name of the employee who gave me this trash experience, but it was the women with the Nigerian accent read more

I think this is one of the best goodwills in the area! I usually walk out with more than I planned on getting. I think the store is laid out in a logical way, and the racks are very well kept and organized. I like the selection they have, and they have a lot of books, which is one of my favorite parts to browse. The staff is welcoming and friendly. read more

I walked in just to browse..and an hour and a half later I had a basket full of terrific finds (Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, BCBG, Gap, White House/Black Market..some items still had the tags on ). Huge selection! HUGE. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is bc clothing items aren't organized by size. This location is very popular apparently so I advise getting there early. I go thrift shopping often, and never have I ever wanted to yell more. I found one shirt that I liked and headed to the cash registers. I was the first person in line and didn't think much of it. There was two cashiers who were both checking out people who had piles of clothes and normally I don't mind waiting in line but I was in line for 20 minutes. Once one person finished checking out I went to the register already ticked off. Then the worst happened: the manager (who at the time was subbing for a cashier) said, "I'll be right back miss." He didn't come back for 15 minutes as he was helping other customers - um hello? You have 10 customers right here! Finally the other person at the register left and the woman next in line kindly let us go ahead since we only had one item. The cashier and that woman was nice, that is the only reason this store has one star. read more

I'm a thrift store junkie, so I frequent this place for great deals on name brand items. They don't call it "Gucci Goodwill" for nothing. I found a pair of True Religion jeans for $7 and a Banana Republic Dress for $9 but for the most part Goodwill is extremely overpriced. You don't want to pay $9 for a target dress for example. The children's clothing is also very overpriced.. It's worth stopping in every once in a while to see if there is a great name brand item you can snag, but for the most part not worth the price of everyday items. read more

While I admire the mission of the Goodwill organization, this location has hired a management staff that does not reciprocate the same tenets of what I would consider an upstanding nonprofit entity. Immediately after gathering two large sacks of clothes to donate at the donation center, my girlfriend, a math teacher at a low-income intermediate school, and myself stopped into this location next door to pick out some artwork for our new apartment. Upon checking out, the manager, Melissa, informed us that we were not able to receive their highly-touted teacher discount they love to advertise because her teacher identification was online through the HISD website rather than printed on a piece of plastic. While I admire Melissa's tenacity and hunger for profit that may work well in a used-car lot, I have to admonish her her for her ability to completely turn off our former adulation for the Goodwill brand. I work in the professional service sector, and have an appreciation for those who inject some semblance of service to those they serve. Unfortunately, Melissa not only lacks basic human understanding, but also lacks the managerial skill and people-centric process management to work in the nonprofit, or service industry. I will be donating elsewhere from now on. read more
