Wow! What a find! A Bluetooth speaker with two speakers! I bought it yesterday, for $19.99! Great price, fir something so intricate! It took about six hours to charge the battery fully! It sounds terrific! Out of six Bluetooth speaker devices, I have, this one is the greatest! What I love about this Bugani Bluetooth speaker, it looks rugged, like it was made to be used on a construction site! It is quite heavy as well! Maybe eight plus pounds! Great place! The good: The store is really organized and tidy. The clothes seem carefully selected and the racks aren't overly stuffed with clothes. They even have similar brands grouped together as well as clothes sorted by color. They had books that had full collections and in very new condition. They have a private fenced parking lot. They had nice, small and new-looking shopping carts. The bad: There aren't a lot of toys or bigger house items. The household item shelves aren't as plentiful as other locations. The kids' clothes are limited as well. The interesting: I saw a Lacoste trench coat for $9.99 but couldn't tell if it was authentic. They have a security guard at the front door. read more

"Under new management" is apparently code for "price gouging is fair game." I paid $2 for this teeny tiny cup - which would have been 50 cents or at most a dollar a year or two ago, and $4 for this slightly larger cup. Those are more than what you'd pay for the same items new. For contrast, I bought two large glass containers for $2 and $3, respectively, as shown, brand new on sale at Marshall's. Three stars for being a nice well organized Goodwill with seemingly good selection and nice polite staff and also nice people shopping there. When I asked why small cups were so expensive, I got nervous responses from the staff who seemed to be trying to avoid making eye contact and finally said - two people working there said - "we are under new management" and seemed apologetic. This review is specifically for Claire, an awesome manager who handled a REALLY FUNKY situation that was exacerbated by awful customer service at the store down the road and fixed a thorn in my side. I bought a pair of shoes at an LA location, to get home to OC and find out they were half a size difference. One is a 6 and one is a 6.5. What in the world?? So I tried to return them at the OC store and I was told they couldn't because it's a different county. Ok, understandable. I got to my car and called a Long Beach location bc it's in LA County. I was clear about the shoe/return policy situation on the phone and verified that they would be able to rectify the situation before I drove 35 min. They said yes, so I drove over. I was met with Anjelica, who said she can't work miracles and made me call the store again to prove that I did, in fact, call and speak with an associate at that location. After that, she walked away with two other associates laughing. I get to my car and the large donation door is open, and I heard her say "look, there she is". Mocked on top of bad service?? Wow. I called the next goodwill location and spoke with Claire who apologized for the situation with the shoes and the poor service and said she could take care of it ASAP. I was in store ten minutes later and was assisted within 3 minutes. Here's the thing, I get that different locations have different processing policies. I can even have understanding despite the inconvenience of the misunderstanding when calling in advance. The reviews are in regard to how it was handled, the customer service received. Having worked in customer service for nearly ten years, I can't imagine behaving like Anjelica, and I am absolutely appreciative of Claire's handling of the matter. I just stopped in to look around and ended up purchasing an elliptical exercise equipment. Chantel tried the machine to verify that it worked correctly before processing my purchase. She then called for assistance to get it to my vehicle, Store Manager, Markel, came and easily placed it in my Nissan Rogue. This was actually my first goodwill experience and I enjoyed it. I should be more of a thirfter since I tend to collect clothes that I only wear a few times or not at all before I give them up. I came here to check it out and liked how big and spacious it is and everything is sorted by color and size. Some stuff is definitely not great but there are hidden gems if you're willing to dig for it. Everyone is friendly inside and I definitely liked they have hand sanitizer as well so I feel better after touching used items. read more

This location is typically well kept. I've found some great items here and have had pleasant interactions with the employees! The only downside is I have noticed the pricing has gone up a bit. I've seen these at a lot of Goodwills recently. My most recent visit I heard another customer complaining about how much some of the items were and that it isn't affordable to everyone now. It's great to shop at thrift stores so I hope it doesn't become gentrified. read more

This is definitely a smaller Goodwill store but if you search hard enough, you can get lucky with some treasures. I've found tons of 'expensive' Disney brand shirts and skirts here, for wayyyy less, cute jackets and blazers, and some household stuff I needed for DIY projects. The staff is friendly here and it's never super busy, which is nice. They have a donation center that's always taking donations however, they do not accept pillows or bedding unless they are new (for good and obvious reasons). If you're like me and you like to craft, this place can be a gold mind. It's always worth a look anyways. read more

I hate giving a Goodwill such a bad rating but this place definitely sucks compared to other Goodwills I've been to. I've been here at least three times now and I've NEVER found anything that I was even remotely interested in buying. The stuff here is in bad shape (stains, holes) and the store is a mess. The store staff here is also not friendly. This place only gets an extra star because the people on the donation side are usually nice and helpful. read more

I think it's terrible that our local Goodwill stores have increased their prices. I started going to salvation army and goodwill as a young child. In my 20s every yr I would donate my office clothes. For the women return to work program. I will be frequenting other local thrift stores. Your prices are too high for low-income. Add insult to injury why would you sell a used 2 piece pajama shorts & shirt for $14.99. I can go to Ross and get it brand new. Furthermore why do you put clothing with stains, holes, obviously damaged? Donate that to a rags recycling place. This is shameful and an insult to the community. read more

I had some time to kill before a business meeting and thought, "Why not"? What a cool thrift store. Clean, big wide isles, no funky old clothes smell and really friendly cute boys running the place. I was pleasantly surprised by the name brands: Land's End, Liz Claiborne, Gap and many other among the clothing racks. Prices were very reasonable $4.99 - $5.99 for women's top and bottoms. I am an avid Thrifter and Goodwill is usually my number one "Go-To" facility. I usually shop the OC Goodwill locations because their inventory has more of a selection, but since I live in the LB Area, I sometimes stop by this location. However, after my most recent encounter and the mistreatment I witnessed by the staff and management to another human, I will NO longer visit this location. I was browsing through the clothing racks when I heard a gentleman at the entrance politely ask the cashier if he could possibly buy a shirt for $1.25 because that's all he had on him. The cashier seemed to ignore the guy. (mind you, I'm hearing this, not watching this) I hear this man's voice ask again "Sir, would you all be willing to let me purchase a T-shirt or any shirt for $1.25, it's all I have on me." The cashier then replies "IDK I'll have to ask my manager." So I assume the cashier would do just that and ask his manager. I go about my business and continue looking through the racks, again never looked up to see what was going on, just hearing the conversation over my shoulder. I then hear a very frustrated and annoyed tone, which again is this man begging and pleading to purchase a shirt for $1.25. He's annoyed for obvious reasons and asks the cashier again "Are you gonna let me buy a shirt or ask the manager? You said you'd ask the manager. So what's it gonna be, you're a store that's supposed to help people like me, I just need a shirt. I'm trying to go to church and I can't go to church without a shirt on and I don't have a shirt. Please!" The cashier, annoyed, goes to ask the manager and I'm thinking, oh I'm sure they'll let this man get a shirt for $1.25, but NO. The manager refused and instead began to tell him to leave, when he wasn't even in the store. He was just at the door, because he knew he couldn't enter without a shirt on and at this point I'm watching the situation unfold. My heart breaks for this man, who was being nothing but polite, courteous and respectful of the store and this store would NOT help him. Instead judging him for the way he appeared. So I ran outside after the man and asked him what size he wore, what color he preferred or style and I offered to shop and buy him a shirt. He thanked me and offered me his $1.25, I told him it was ok. "I got you, don't worry." The man waited patiently outside and I overhear the manager asking him why he wasn't leaving, he told her I was buying him a shirt and while I was at the register, she annoyingly came to me and asked (in an irritated manner) "Are you the one buying him a shirt?" I replied "Yes." She stood there rushing the cashier with her hand on her hip, looking at me like she was mad at me for buying him a damn shirt. I check out and she walks along side me and watches me hand the gentleman the shirt. He repeatedly tells me "Thank You. God Bless you mam!" Again offering his $1.25, which I refused to take. He looks over to the manager and says "God Bless you too mam, even though you refused to help me, may God Bless you too." She replies "What? What'd you say to me?" As if to antagonize the poor man. At this point I just couldn't take it anymore and I turned to the lady and told her "He didn't say shit to you, all he said was God Bless You, now leave that poor man alone damn!" I will never again, ever shop at a place like that. Goodwill should be ashamed to have people like that working for them. Those people should be ashamed of themselves period. No heart. read more

I'm utterly upset with this location! I am in disbelief. I am 8 months pregnant and I kindly asked to use their restroom (mind you I was shopping, not just stopping by for that). The employee said it was for employees only. So I spoke to a manager, surely they would have some compassion towards me right? Nope. Wrong. She refused to make an exception for me. You know, I understand the concept of using the restroom before you go out shopping. And I did. But being this far along in my pregnancy it's hard to control how frequently and suddenly I have to go. I wish I could give zero stars. I can't stand how these places aren't letting you use their dressing rooms and than won't take items back when you get home and find out they don't fit. NOT EVEN for an exchange or store credit. Their receipt says you can but the girl said " it's a old receipt" and wouldn't honor it. Open your dressing rooms or accept returns it's common sense! The other reviewers are correct. Rude staff and obsolete policies. They also only allow one bag of clothes per party per day. Which is ridiculous because I'm not going to burn gas for 4 days straight to deliver 4 bags of clothes to you because your "volume" is too high. All you're doing is discouraging me from donating and favoring the dumpster instead. Don't be surprised if these folks eventually go out of business or stay afloat by subsidies from harder working Goodwill stores. Good riddance! read more

I consciously try to support establishments that support recycling and since I frequent this location to donate household good to throughout the year, I decided to stop in to pick up a few items for a silent meditation I was attending in Northern California. I was a bit surprised with the prices as I thought I would pay under $5 since all the items were second hand. I picked up most dresses all of which were in excellent condition so I didn't mind paying the $8 it cost per dress. I think most of them were new or barely worn. I do appreciate the fact that they allow you to make returns on clothes which I thought was pretty unusual for a thrift store. This location is my neighborhood Goodwill and I just simply wanna say that I struck GOLD during my recent experience here! I usually only come a few times a year to donate loads of clothes/household goods/electronics, and I've NEVER had a problem with them turning me down or anything like that. They usually sort through my things, write me up a donation receipt, and I'm outta there in less than 10 minutes. The couple of times I've been here to actually shop for items, I never found anything because I never really took the time to dig around and look. Buttttttt, THIS time around, since I'm currently in a thrift shop/frugalista phase, I thought, why not? I honestly came not expecting to come out with anything. 45 minutes later....after carefully digging through their nicely organized racks... I first find a Dooney & Bourke wallet for $2.99 (don't get no better than 2.99 for VINTAGE!); I find a white blazer that fits me perfectly & is in good condition for $5.49; a vintage Canon camera which later I found out was $1.99 (& still works!!); & lastly, a pair of leather flats for $6.99.
