In route I decided to Yelp auto repair centers and this shop came up with 5 stars. Because it was on the way I said what the hell and stopped to check it out. Thank the good Lord I did because it was a home run. They had my vehicle in the garage before they even knew my name and I was on my way back home in less than an hour. Total cost $145 plus $9 for a part and that included flushing out the freon and recharging the system. Both Firestone and Honda wanted around $99 just to evaluate and wanted me to leave car the afternoon. It would have taken longer just to get the paper work done in the amount of time it took to get me on my way at Jimmy's! Don't be fooled by the cosmetics of the building or the area they are located, truly a wonderful experience and there is a auto parts shop right next door. Thank you so much. We choose Gerald's as we trust them. We dropped it off at night, so they could diagnose the issue. They called us and said after inspection it was a tire issue. We went ahead with the service as they recommended it. When they called us to pick it up, I asked if they were able to confirm if the issue was resolved. If not, we could have it further diagonsed and resolve the issue. They told me they do not drive the cars after installing tires. Odd as how would they be able to confirm if the issue was resolved? At JTs', they were courteous and looked at the car. They just had too much work to be able to do the job at this time - they said all the shops in the area were really busy. But at least they talked to me and looked at the car. Then I went to Platinum. I parked my car right in front of their office window, walked in and said I needed an estimate. The receptionist said an estimate was $50 and would apply to the work. I said I wanted someone to just take a look at the car to let me know if they would even do the work and see if they would even have the time for it. I didn't want to pay $50 if they wouldn't even do the work or have the time. "The car's parked just outside, I just want someone to see if you will even do it". But she wasn't having any of that, said "We're good", essentially meaning goodbye and go. I said "Thanks for the HELP" and left.
