I've been meaning to write a review for this place for 8 months now. I took my 1996 F150 here for a overheating issue and they were not helpful at all. First off they claimed I had a blown head gasket which wasn't trues they told me they did all the test and they all indicated blown head gasket so here's what I did... I went a rented a leak detector at autozone and it showed NEGATIVE result!! Turns out it was my radiator, NOT A BLOWN HEAD GASKET. They straight up LIED to me. Truck had zero indicators or symptoms of a blown head gasket. Pressure test showed nothing and leak detector showed nothing. I wouldn't trust this place with my life so you've been warned. read more

Horrible. I went to this pep boys one time and I will never go again. I went for a nail in my tire, the manager ROBERT (older guy) was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered and that's saying a lot as I work in customer service. Let me set the scene for you all. So I come in for the nail in my tire, he seems nice enough at first asking if I need anything else done to my car, I say no as I have a warranty set up with my car plan for pep boys specially. As I'm in the lobby waiting for my car, I can hear him in the garage portion telling the other guys working on cars how cheap ppl are and don't want to pay for needed things. Clearly about me, now this already mad me mad bc I just didn't need anything not like I was being cheap but ooooookay. So I ended up just continuing to wait, well ended up I needed a new tire as the nail was not in the wall of the tire (of course) so I had to get a new tire, no big deal. So I called my dad to let him know just giving him a heads up (lives down the road, told me to let him know what the outcome was of the car) so after I called him Robert comes back and starts asking me if I want anymore things added on, alignment, ect. So I'm just kind of giving him the cold shoulder bc I'm still just upset over the way he was talking about me a customer. Well after about 5-7 min my dad shows up ( didn't ask him to come) and Robert says "wow you called your dad, can't handle car issues yourself ?" In the most condescending tone. At this point I'm just like WTF!!! BOLD. I don't even have words I just look at him like is he serious!? We wrapped up quickly after that as my tire was replaced and I was just checking out. This location is 15 min away from me, but I will always too to go to the 30 min one to avoid this terrible manager Robert. Not sure if he feels better about himself talking down to people like that or what but I'll never be back. Avoid this place if you want good customer service. And Robert if you read this, I hope you learn how to treat people with respect, and not talk badly about them where they can hear you. read more

In and Out! These guys are fast and efficient. Great service especially in the area! Scheduled an appointment to repair a flat. Greeted when I came in and vehicle was taken in right away. Job was completed in less than 20mins. The gentleman showed me the issue when he found it and was able to repair the flat. I ended up here because I needed tires, and quick. They did a fine job and I didn't have any issues with the service. I did feel that it was a bit higher priced than I'd like, but when you need something in a hurry, you pay the price for it. I give three stars due to cost but also because I was a bit surprised that the servicing mechanic had to Google how to reset my MINI's oil change indicator, which took him a while. He also wasn't familiar with the location of the hood release. Honest mistake I guess (my MINI is quirky ), I just would have thought someone who regularly works on cars would know these things. The next day my vehicle was unable to move had to get it towed to the dealership the damages that the technician cost is more than the original price that I paid currently fighting with corporate to get it paid. Two days ago I came with my car after driving down from New Jersey and realizing I had an issue with my headlights. Chris, the first person I met here, was extremely personable and professional. He told me what could be the issue and when they'd ve able to service my car. I just left the shop very happy. Gino and Terry have demonstrated a vast knowledge of car repair and really made sure that my car was ready to make the 18hr. Trip back to Jersey. Last but not least Daniel was great too. Just moved from clearwater to daytona and wow. .I miss this place. Finding a trustworthy and reliable mechanic is so hard to find. RC took care of my vehicle and my mom's on many occasions. Picked us up and gave us rides home. He even took us in the garage to SHOW us what was wrong with our cars and explained to us how things work. This place is by the most literal sense of the definition, CRIMINAL. I'm a trained Jaguar technician, so I know brakes just as well as any ASE (Automotive Society of Engineers) certified guys at Just Brakes. They told my friend that the rear brake pads were wearing unevenly as a result of bad seals and he had them rebuild the rear brakes. I requested to see the parts and EVERYTHING WAS TEXTBOOK PERFECT!!! They had LIED for more money! The shop manager tried arguing with me saying that it was a matter of opinion. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. By the way... they also tried to charge him 49.95 for brake clips which come with the brakes pads already, and if they don't, you re-use the ones on the car. read more

I was skeptical after reading the reviews prior to getting my brakes changed along with the lovely rotors that were at the point of metal against metal (not the best sound either!). Raul was fantastic and worked with me. He was very talkative and made sure I understood and got the "best" deal. I know I will pay an extra surcharge for purchasing parts through a dealer but that is typical anywhere. Yes, I did my homework by checking auto part stores but they did not over charge me by much. Call ahead and get a quote. After they check out your car, have them confirm the quote.. They will even give you a breakdown of all the costs. Ask them for this BEFORE they start working on your car. That's what you should be doing anyway. Great job to the team (I forget the names) and Raul. I will likely be back in the future if I need anything else. read more

This place is highyway robbery. I needed two new rear brake pads. (Not rodors, just rear brake pads.) I let them check everything out, and they tried telling me that my 2010 Honda accord needed premium brake pads, and that for whatever reason, the basic ones wouldn't work. I got a quote for $169 for the rear brake pad job. I said no way and left, drove not even a mile down the street, stopped at Noble automotive and they did the entire rear break pad job for $68, with tax. I watched one of the guys who worked at Noble walk across the street to an auto nation shop where he purchased a box of brake pads and I watched as they installed them into my Honda, and guess what, - they work GREAT. Save yourself the money and go down the street! I guess they thought they could scam me out of $100 because I am a young female, but I'm not that stupid! read more
