I originally left a review a few years ago, and I'm happy to say they continue to be the only place I take my car for tire services and oil changes. The shop can get busy, and it's clear the team is often managing a high volume of customers with a relatively small staff. Even so, they always do their best to stay organized and often complete my appointments in a timely manner. My tip: either make an appointment ahead of time or arrive right when they open if you want to be helped quickly. I also appreciate that they're communicative; I can let them know if I need my car back sooner or if I have flexibility, and they work with me accordingly. *I visited this location a few days before Christmas week 2025. I started writing this review but didn't finish and started getting notifications from yelp to finish* The only reason I gave the one star is because the yobehind the counter was at least slightly empathetic. Whoever the older gentleman with the shaved head is should learn customer service skills. I made an "appointment" to get 4 tires installed, I ordered them off of Amazon and this location was the closest to me with the availability I needed (it was the cheaper option also). I took time off work (lost money). I had called ahead to ensure my appointment time was confirmed, I asked if there was anything else I should know or bring with me, I was told the whole process would take about an hour and a half. I was 10 minutes early all with the guarantee that my appointment would be honored. There was no guidance on where to pull in, no parking at all, people in Goodyear uniform were standing in the car bays working, I asked someone where I should pull in and they just stared. I was finally able to squeeze into a spot. The gentleman at the desk all but laughed at me (actually chuckled) for expecting them to honor the appointment I made even went as far as to scoff "all those people sitting down have been here since 9am waiting for their appointment" he pointed to a back waiting area I didn't see at first, it was full of customers, about 5 or 6 irritated looking people in that small waiting area. The condescension in his tone as well as the look of annoyance on his face made it clear I did not want to do business there. After a bit of back and forth simply explaining that they should set proper expectations on wait times, I ended up calling around and Hanlon's Tires in San Bruno said they had immediate availability. I showed up and they were extremely welcoming, took care of my tires in around 45-ish minutes and didn't charge much more than what Goodyear was charging. My entire experience at this location was horrible from the chaos just getting in to the condescending and disrespectful staff. I'd never go there again or recommend them to anyone else. Save your time and money. Just cause it's cheap doesn't mean it's good, you're definitely getting what you pay for. read more

Well, I was installing spider trax wheel spacers on my 4runner...on my last rear tire, I couldn't lossen the lugs. They hadn't been touched since I got new tires at coscto. I gently stood on my breaker bar to loosen a couple tough ones. Then, a stud broke. Ugh. When I took the wheel off, I noticed another stud next to the onebthat cheered off was bent. So, I had to deal w/ it. I ran over to OReilly's, got the studs, removed the caliper, loosened the parking break wheel, and took off the rotor. I wiggled out the broken studs, and pressed in the new ones. All right, almost done. Well, not so fast. That is when I ran into issues with the rotor. The parking shoe tightened on me while putting it on. It got stuck 1/2 way on the hub, I couldn't get it off or on all the way and could no longer access the star adjuster. I had to press it off using the bolt on face method. Before I did that, I tried to manhandle it off...which resulted in some busted backing springs. I took it apart and tried to replace them with a hatdwear kit. After doing one spring w/o proper tools, I didn't want to attempt the other w/ the bent pin style. I decided id put it back together and run it over to goodyear. Unfortunately, the break pads pressed back together and while rushing to seperate them (by pressing open the caliper w/a screw dfiver), one fell out. Since running short on time, I just removed them, slapped it together, and rushed over. When i arrived, I let Felicia know I was in a bit of a pickle. She was great. Steven took a look at it and was confident he can remedy the situation. I got a fair quote for the work and he worked his magic. He took care of parking break issue! I got a new rotor, caliper, etc. Top of the hill saved the day. After that, I put my last spacer on and am happy as a clam. So glad this shop can take on repair work. read more

Shoutout to Felicia at the front desk. I came in for an oil change and had already agreed to the $120 price when I dropped the car off. While I was waiting, Felicia came out and told me a flash sale had literally started that day and applied it to my order, saving me about $40. She absolutely didn't have to do that -- I would've had no idea the sale even existed -- but she went out of her way to make sure I got the lower price. That kind of honesty and customer service is rare. The whole visit was quick and easy, but Felicia really stood out. Yesterday, I brought my vehicle to your shop due to a punctured tire. After a short wait, the attendant informed me that there were two punctures: one near the edge of the tire (which you claimed was unrepairable), and the other was allegedly unrepairable because I had attempted to fix it myself. I then spoke directly to the technician and explained that I had only inserted the same nail back into the tire (after removing it) so I could drive safely to your shop. I had not actually completed a repair--my rubber plug kit never even penetrated the tire. Despite this, I was told a new tire was necessary, so I declined the service and left. Today, I brought my car to a different repair shop just about a mile away. I explained everything and asked them to inspect the tire. Two hours later, they called me back and said the tire was already repaired. They found that: The puncture on the edge did not go all the way through the tire. The second puncture was completely repairable, despite my partial attempt to fix it. I'm very thankful for their competent service and thorough inspection--something I had hoped to receive at your shop. I hope Goodyear considers placing more focus on accurate diagnostics rather than immediately recommending costly replacements. Not all customers are trying to cut corners--some of us simply want an honest evaluation. read more

Their products and services are reasonable and affordable. The staff and mechanics who work here are professionals, personable, and highly conscientious. Just this week they discovered that my front brakes were about to go out and a wheel bearing urgently needed replacing. The behind the counter staff are very attentive and double checking everything, crossing the T's and dotting the I's ensuring that everything is as it should be service and pricewise. If I could give zero stars, I would. The Goodyear tire shop in Daly City is the definition of a scam. I brought my car in for what should have been a simple service, and they ended up causing $1,000 worth of damage--then had the audacity to try and make me pay for it. The crew clearly lacks the basic skills or experience to be working on anyone's vehicle. They were completely unprofessional, and I felt so helpless in the face of their blatant schemes that I had to call the police to protect myself and get the issue sorted out. To make matters worse, the staff was unbelievably rude. One of the employees, a girl with red hair, was especially hostile and dismissive. There was no accountability, no courtesy, and certainly no competence. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. There are plenty of honest, skilled shops in the area that will treat you right and won't destroy your car in the process. I brought my car here twice within one month because my tire light kept coming on and I kept having to add air everyday. I left my car there for the whole day and was called hours later saying they couldn't find any issues and that they reset my tire light. The second time, the light came on again a week or so later and I brought the car back in, again kept my car for hours and called at the end of the day to tell me the same thing. They couldn't find anything and that they thoroughly checked and advised my sensors may have issues. I took my car to another shop in SF and within 5 minutes, the mechanic told me that there was a huge nail in my tire. This place clearly didn't check anything both times my car was there all day, they're dishonest and the woman working at the front is also rude. I'm positive that for the hours that my car was there both times, they didn't even check my tires. read more

I was going to this location for 7 years and have been a loyal customer since then. I've taken two of my vehicles for oil changes up until recently. I came in to get an oil change per usual for my Nissan. It had been a couple months after my most recent oil change and I was driving my car on the freeway when suddenly it began to shake and the smell of gas/oil was coming out of my car. I ended up getting my car towed by Triple A and the tow guy open my hood and found that the rubber piece that goes onto my cap for oil was NEVER PUT BACK ON and NEVER CLOSED! This is totally unacceptable, but not surprising. I end up calling the office to speak to a manager and never hear back from them as the manager says to give her a call back later. I HIGHLY suggest taking your vehicles elsewhere as this location is irresponsible and they simply don't care about their customers. read more

I was referred by my sister to get my car serviced at Good Year, as she has been going here for the past 8 years. I bought my car last year, and so far, I've had an oil change, new rear tires installed, and new rear brakes done here. They usually have a lot of good deals and discounts running, so you know you're getting a great deal. The mechanic, Angelo, who helps me with my services, is really nice and friendly. He always tells me what services he recommends for my car, which I really appreciate. I recommend coming here at 7:30 AM right when they open because they usually have a line before they open. It also helps to make an appointment beforehand. The front desk ladies are really nice as well. I highly recommend Good Year to anyone who needs their car serviced. read more

The Manager Luba is terrible at customer service and honesty. To begin with, waiting she couldn't stop talk about getting drunk after having a baby and being so unprofessional, I was surprised that she ended up being the manager. One of the technicians helped me measure my tires and found that 2 of them were still in the middle of the tread measuring above 6. I wanted two tires replaced which was going to cost $800. One of the good tires was on the back of the car, so I was supposed to get both back tires replaced, and the good one moved to the front. They said to bring the car the next day at 9:30am, and at 3pm Luba calls me and says that I need 3 new tires now. I mentioned to her what we agreed on and that the tires were measured below 3 now, and now she will NOT rotate my back tire to the front. The dishonesty and the unhelpful attitude was a big disappointment realizing that Luba was the manager, I wasn't going to give GoodYear my business anymore. I waited 6 hours, and told them to not replace any tires since I don't want to overpay them for bad service. I found that Moe's Tires was over $200 cheaper and the customer was great as they were able to rotate my back tire with no attitude or issues. Don't go to this business, they overcharge and have terrible customer service. read more

Last Saturday, I went to this workshop and, seeing it empty, decided to try to get my car's oil changed, as it was overdue. I noticed they closed at 5 PM and, since it was 4 PM, I thought I might get lucky. A mechanic approached me, and I asked if it was possible to get the service done. He told me to ask the office manager. I went inside, and the response was that they would check with the mechanics. They came back and told me that everyone was busy. I thought that, being close to closing time, they might just want to finish cleaning up and organizing their tools, which I found understandable. I agreed to make an appointment for Monday at 1 PM. On Monday, I arrived 20 minutes early. The manager asked me to take the car out to the street. There was no space in the parking lot, so I had to leave it on the corner, practically outside the workshop. I told the manager that I had an appointment in San Francisco at 3:30 PM and asked if she didn't think the car would be ready by 3 PM, we should reschedule. She assured me it would be ready before then. I left confidently and returned two hours later. I found my car parked in the same spot where I had left it. I was unpleasantly surprised to find they hadn't even touched it. At that point, it was impossible for me to wait without missing my appointment in the city. I had no choice but to ask for my keys and leave, angry about the wasted time. I wonder why they bother making appointments if they are not going to respect them and even more so if they are going to attend to those who don't have appointments first? read more

I attempted to try another business and they failed royally. For years I've been going to Goodyear and they definitely saved the day. They had 7 SKUs available in stock for my tire (not at another location or a warehouse). Even tho it was a Saturday, they were able to fit me in without an appointment. It took about 3 hours but they called 2 times to give me updates. Believe Luba was helping me and she was very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. She kept trying to find the best price while considering my request/requirements. Even tho they kept trying to upsell me on a few things, I know some were serious matters to consider: battery replacement, cabin filter, and road hazard extension. I will go back to them in the future. Only down side was when they checked the cabin filter a leaf was left in the fan which got stuck and made a flapping sound when I turned on the air. I booked an appointment online and paid $1,000 for new tires and an alignment. Since I was at work, I sent my son with the car to have the tires installed. However, he was turned away because they said I had to be present with my ID. Nowhere in the terms and conditions does it state that I must be there in person. In fact, in California, this practice is illegal under Civil Code section 1747.08(a)(2). The employees claimed this policy comes from corporate and is enforced by the Store Manager, Felicia. I hope anyone else who has experienced this illegal practice speaks up. They canceled my appointment and told me I had to call corporate for a refund--but corporate closes at 2 p.m., and my appointment was at 2:30. My first interaction with Goodyear should have been enough to avoid them completely. When I originally purchased tires from them, I learned that the warranty is only valid if you have tire rotations done by Goodyear or if the dealer records the tire pressure during each rotation. I felt responsible for not catching this detail, but it's nowhere in the fine print that the PSI must be recorded for the warranty to remain valid. My tires didn't even last two years. Why did I go back to them? I have no idea, but now I'll be seeking a refund. I strongly urge others to read more

I was driving on a donut tire and looking to change out all of my tires quickly, and Goodyear had way more reasonable prices and better value than other places I called. Their service was great, and the guy was friendly and helpful. But I have to take 1 star off because every time I asked, they told me the service would take 1.5 hours, but it ended up taking 4.5 hours total because they don't include the time that the car sits in the lot, waiting for someone to start service. I didn't really mind because luckily I had read some Yelp reviews beforehand that mentioned this, so I had gone home to wait it out. If I had sat there waiting, then I would have been pissed at how misleading the quoted time was. read more

Honestly, it is hard to find pricing as competitive as theirs anywhere! I dropped my Toyota Corolla off on Monday and it was ready for pick up by Thursday (efficient). Dave and Marie Hamilton really took care of me and my vehicle. It went from faded/peeling paint to gloriously sexy black! I could have just as easily settled on only one star, as my experience at Goodyear last week was one of the worst I've had with any business. I called in advance to ask about the cost of patching a tire, as I had a small screw in one of my tires and was not sure if there was a slow leak. The person I spoke to told me it would be $20 for a flat repair and no charge at all if no repair was needed after the screw was removed. I was pleased to learn this, and asked if I needed to make an appointment. She told me I could simply bring the car over, so I responded that I'd be there shortly. I pulled up around 1:45 and saw that the lot was blocked off. I did a loop and saw no parking at all, so I called to ask where to go. I was told to find a spot on the side street. I waited a couple minutes for someone to leave and then parked. I walked into the shop before 2 p.m. and spoke to the staff member I had talked to on the phone less than an hour earlier. She remembered our conversation and said that after we hung up, several cars were brought in. She asked if I could leave the car until the end of the day. I had plans at 4 p.m. so I let her know that I could really only leave it for an hour or 90 minutes max. She told me that would not work and suggested that I either bring it back at 8 a.m. or make an appointment for later in the week. I was not thrilled, as I had specifically asked if I needed an appointment before driving over. I decided that since I was already there and didn't want to continue driving the car with the screw in the tire, I would change my plans and leave the car. Before leaving, I confirmed the shop closed at 5 p.m. and that my car would be ready by then, also asking that she give me a call if it were repaired sooner. It was not a nice day, so I was tempted to find a coffee shop to hang out in while I waited. However, I'm not yet fully vaccinated, so I went for a walk around Daly City and made a couple of phone calls. I returned to Goodyear at 4:40 and saw my car right where I had parked it. The screw was still in the tire. Since I knew how quick a patch is, I felt I should really wait until 5 to ask about my car. (This was a mistake on my part, but nowhere near as big as the one the Goodyear staff made.) I walked inside at 5 and explained that I was there to pick up my car. The staff member I spoke to didn't even realize there was another car that was supposed to be ready by close of business. He let me know that the guys hadn't gotten around to it. "Could they do it now, please?" I asked. He replied that he would go ask them, but when he returned, he confirmed that they were done for the day. At this point, I had to express that not only was I tremendously disappointed, but that Goodyear was going to lose my business. One of the repair guys happened to walk inside and when he realized it was just one tire that needed work, he agreed to take care of it. I stuck around for the tire patch, not leaving until well after the shop had closed. I tipped the repair guy and drove home. I'm glad the tire is in better shape, but the tire pressure light in my car is still on. Not even a mediocre visit. The whole encounter was super unprofessional. On top of that, the shop has a sign that says only two people in the lobby at a time...but the staff doesn't enforce it. read more

I've been here twice to request air checks on my tires. My most recent visit was this past Friday. 8/26/22. I happened to walk-in and was lucky there were no other customers ahead of me. This was around 1-2PM. A lady behind the counter was speaking to another customer and another gentleman (Brian), walked up to the counter to assist me. I asked him how much it would be for an air check. He responded, no charge. He proceeded to guide me to open bay to fill my tires. He filled my tires per my spec request and even provided two free tire pressure caps as he noticed they were missing (without even saying a word). Upon completion, he thanked me for the visit. If this is how they'll treat someone who didn't even buy any services, I can only imagine the care once I do. Had services 4 yrs ago very little negatives, but currently this place is a CLOWN show. I came here to replace four tires. The associates could not tell me what was in their inventory. The only good thing about my experience this time is that the work was done in a timely manner. Everything else was crappy. The biggest issue is the customer service and it was terrible when I came to pick up my vehicle. While customer reps appear nice, the business lacks infrastructure in conducting customer service. Listen, I an NOT a "kevin" but we got Brian lying on the phone telling them he's assisting other customers. Meanwhile, clients are lined up looking at each other wondering what customers Brian is talking about because he's been looking at the same computer screen for the last 20 minutes (not helping clients). Glen is nice, but he seems to not be able to read the room and proceeds to casually tell stories to coworkers and clients they are currently assisting. Smiling and telling jokes, while again, customers are lined up out the door. Like, do you not see us??? Waiting to give you our money? There was no sense or urgency which translates to unprofessional. They have one working computer and usually one working associate even though there may be three associates present. There was no " hey, I'll be right with you or I'll be with you shortly." NOTHING, just them ignoring customers until called. In conclusion, if you have time and low standards for customer service, sure, go here. I cannot put myself through this again. Also be sure to check your tire pressure sensors before leaving! They will have you drive off without resetting! (does anyone go through any type of training??? Like for real!) **And please keep the manager's corporate scripted -worthless apologies. If you keep getting one Stars it means no changes are happening. You will lose business and eventually close because you let "customer service " run wild." Do better, fix that problem before it takes the entire business down. ALSO didn't put caps on all four tires when I got them replaced. read more
