My visit to Goodyear was to have a bulb replaced in my vehicle. This was not my first time getting a service from Goodyear. When making the appointment the service tech I talked to was very friendly and helpful with the day and time I wanted. The service tech that checked me in the day of my appointment was just as friendly. The building is well kept and clean, offering coffee and water, with a very comfortable waiting area with a flat screen tv and comfortable chairs. The bulb replacement was done in a reasonable amount of time. They also checked all of my lights and replaced the tag light that I didn't know was out. Thank you to the Firestone tech that acted like he did not understand that I needed the right front bulb replaced, you sent potential business to Goodyear. Thank you Goodyear for having such nice and friendly people working at your business. read more

Took my Bronco to have 4 new tires put on and now my black rims now have scratches where the removed the center cap to remove the tires. Also a mark where they must have struggled to put one tire on. So frustrated! read more

Took my car in for scheduled oil change & to change a tire. I left my car there & my husband picked me up. I got a call from Goodyear that my tire's lugnut was stripped & it'd cost $400, including labor, to remove it. They wouldn't release my vehicle, due to safety, unless it was replaced. I felt cornered into spending way more than necessary for a single lugnut. I won't be returning here. I couldn't afford another $500 oil change. read more

Had an appointment for an oil change. Came in and two hours later I am still waiting! When I inquired about the delay, they said they didn't have my oil filter and had to order one. It's a Ford F-150! Not some odd vehicle! No communication about the delay. Will never come back here. This location could use some training on communication and customer service. This is my go to shop for all of our cars. I really have struggled finding a trustworthy service shop in this area. Liz and the team always makes sure it's done right. My 17 year old daughter feels so comfortable taking her car in there for service every time. They make her feel welcomed and always get me on the line if she is unsure of things that might need to get done. That says a lot for a car service business. I have to say there were issues with the location years ago with things getting missed on service but Liz is the change agent at this location. Went in to get front breaks first thing during the week right when they opened. I dropped my truck off and they said it would just be a couple of hours. They quoted me a price and then called to tell me exactly how much it would be. I left and called back about 4 hours later to find out that my truck isn't done. I waited another 3 hours and rode back but still wasn't done. I asked questions about it but no one could give me an answer or any kind of apology. When it was finally done they tacked on more money than the previous number they told me twice. I would not recommend ever going there again. Place is a rip off and the customer service is lazy and unaware of what's going on. read more

They want $135 for a truck alignment when you can go to Roots Auto (another licensed Goodyear shop) or other auto shops and get an alignment for $80. If you are a single female, run as fast as you can away from this place. They will try to take advantage of you (and that is an understatement)! I may not know much about cars, but I know when I am being screwed! The quote alone for my diagnostic changed multiple times - $65, $230, $200, $85, and $130. I finally ended up paying $85 for diagnostic. They were trying to charge me over $800 for thermostat and fan. The minute I was told the amount, I went to get my car. I also noticed the next day there was a tear in my seat that was not there prior to taking my car to Goodyear. I took my car to another shop. Car was fixed for $100 (part and labor) and was told my car did not have all the issues I was told by goodyear. My car is now fixed without the outrageous estimate I was given. Pic attached of outrageous estimate. Goodyear can keep there apologizes to themselves. I dont want to hear how sorry you are about my visit. You are ripping people out of their hard earned money. Shame on you! I would not return to this goodyear even if it was the last shop in Easley. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. I was traveling home from college and got a flat tire and had the car towed to good year. When I got there they said they did not have the right size tire and made it seem like it was a hassle to help me. I could not return to school and was stuck in Easley and they told me for them to get the tire it would be around $500 in total fees. I was picked up and went home to find out my dad found the same tire for $200. We drove up to Easley and called the good year who then said they couldn't even fix it that day with us bringing them the tire. Good year takes advantage of stranded people... especially younger college kids. Had to to tow the car to Innovative Wheel Solutions where they were the BEST! Would highly recommend going here instead!!! read more

I called Goodyear because my car needed service and no one in the area could get me in on a Saturday. They were able to get me in and finished quickly. Liz was awesome. She is super sweet, knowledgeable, and now I get to go on and enjoy the rest of my weekend without having to worry that my service is overdue. Jeremy, the technician was great too. I am only giving it a two because they were the only place open on a Saturday morning. Not only did they try to get me to buy a tire that I did not need, but they also tried to sell me the most expensive tire they had. When I spoke to the customer service, their answer was simply there's nothing I can do about it now. Everyone in there that Saturday morning was being up sold. Yo so I brought 2 brand new headlights in to be changed on my 2000 Toyota celica gt. Dude kept one of my lights, and didn't change it, and only changed the dead one. Now three months later my driver's headlight (the one that didn't need changing at the time but I told him to change it anyways) is out, and thats how I know he kept my brand new light. I brought my vehicle here out of desperation. I had a blown out and was able to get my tire to hold enough air to make it the mile down the road they were from me. When I arrived they told me they could probably put a new tire on but would most likely damage my rim. They also would not cover my damage in the event that they did damage the wheel. This store is a month old and they said there machines are so bad they can't put a factory tire on a car with factor alloy rims. Beware I would not let these hacks touch my car. read more

Picked up a nail in my tire and called for an appointment. They had me in at my appointment time and out in less than an hour. The waiting area is clean and very relaxing. Comfortable chairs, a comfortable comfortable and it didn't smell of rubber. To top it all off my tire was patched no charge as a first time customer. Had a lot of work done to my Honda including new tires installed. When my wife got it home I noticed that the mags were filthy with the handprints of the mechanic and they hadn't put any valve stem caps on my tires even though I had in excess of $1500 worth of work done. This wasn't the first time that I had noticed sloppy work on their return of the car. It made me wonder if things like transmission flush and other items were actually being done. I am almost 70 years old and as I get older I notice more and more companies want to take advantage of people who they think they can fool. I hope this isn't the case here but I am very suspicious. Please check all their work before it leaves the compound. As a side note, they said if I drove my car back up there they would put the caps on the stem and wash the car. Why did they wait to offer that until after they found out I complained. Customer service is not high on the list. Be careful! read more

I took my car to this store on January 2, 2017, because my tire low pressure light came on. I waited for at least an hour for them to check my tires. They found a nail in the driver's side front tire. I was told it could not be repaired because of the amount of tread on the side of the tire. The nail was in the tread, not on the side of the tire, but well inside of the tread and there was a lot of tread left where the nail was as I found out a little later. My tires had less than 30k miles on them so there was still a lot of tread left and I was diligent in rotating my tires every 5k miles and having an alignment done. I don't know why the tires wore the way they did. I had the woman who waited on me give me a price for 4 new tires. I then went to Sam's Club and discovered the woman didn't even quote a price for the right tire for my car - she quoted on a speed rating that was not meant for my car. I went back to find out where the nail was in my tire and the man working there said they weren't supposed to repair a tire like mine, but he would have it done. I told him no because they were given a chance to repair it, but instead wanted to sell me tires instead is the way I looked at it. Why would he offer to fix the tire when I was told it couldn't be fixed? Wouldn't that make the tire more dangerous than it already was? Sam's Club also beat this store on price by about $100. Of course when I told the man this on my way out of the door, he said they could match it and didn't know how they could sell for less. I told him he missed his chance to sell me tires - they were giving a $20 rebate on 4 tires while Sam's Club was giving an $80 rebate on the same tires. I will never step foot in this store again. Talk about being taking advantage of. They should be ashamed of themselves and I hope people catch on to what they are doing. read more
