I made an "appointment" Monday for a Friday 8 AM oil change. Dropped it off at 730 AM, and was then told that it will be done before 6 PM. I asked why it would take so long if I had an appointment. I was then chuckled at by the counter person and told that their schedule is obviously full. Extremely rude people that work there. The last time my truck was in for an oil change another "customer" backed into my truck causing damage. But the workers "did not" get the information from the other driver and said that there was nothing that they could do for the damage. Wish I had an option for under 1 Star rating! the service here is horrible! Had my alternator changed at kihei Goodyear... first alternator failed after about 4 months went in to have it changed being it was under warrant. two months later second alternator failed. At this point I was a little frustrated as I've worked at an alternator rebuilding shop before! Bring my vehicle in for the third alternator and after they lied about my truck actually being worked on they called me back and told me they would refund me and give me back my truck without being fixed! the service here is horrible and they use the cheapest parts they can find while charging you more than anyone should charge! I spent over $400 here & bought an unnecessary new battery because they could not diagnose & fix a simple electrical issue. I also had to rent a car because they kept mine for 2 days. I then hired a guy off craigslist. He came to my house, diagnosed & fixed the issue for $50. I'll never go back here. read more

I am a professional Service Manager so, when I say this place is horrible I know what I am talking about. My wife was treated rudely by the counter person and made to feel like it was her fault that they totally screwed up a simple service appointment. When she spoke to the manager it was even worse. She treated her like someone trying to scam them and said, "I get this all day long. We'll do it for free." like that's the answer to everything. There is no excuse for bad service. None. Goodyear currently closes at 5:00, not 6:00. This business is experiencing such a shortage of employees that it took them 24 hours to complete a tire repair. I was contacted that my car was ready at 4:50 pm. I simply did not have enough time to pick up my car before they closed at 5:00. This contradicts the experiences of other reviewers. I've only gotten my oil changed and tires checked here. They do a great job of getting me in quickly & are flexible when I need to reschedule. Great service. The waiting area is not great so I usually walk to azeka plaza or go across the street & wait under the porch at the vet clinic. read more

Actually wish you could give less than one star for the horrible customer service. Will never do business there again. They put the lug nuts on so tightly and stripped them out, changing a tire was impossible even for the tow truck driver. When calling to ask if Goodyear would remove the tire they put on this way, if we brought the vehicle to the shop, their response was, "I'm sorry we don't provide that service". My wife was on her way to work when the tire pressure light came on. Goodyear in Kihei was the closest place to get the problem fixed. She spoke with a very unconcerned lady at the counter who said 'Are you able to spend all day with us' she further explained that they had 3 other appointments and a tire shipment that they needed to inventory that would take all day. Don't get your car serviced here. I had 2 batteries within 3 years replaced, a starter that went bad after 6 months, and an oil service where they check all fluids and the next week an overheated engine revealed no antifreeze in the radiator ( which means they didn't check all fluid levels, even though it was checked off). I've used them for 3 + years. Never again. They get one star because I did buy tires and they did honor the warranty ( but again the tires were bad). read more

Liars and Cheats! Years ago I brought them a tire with a nail in it. After holding the tire there all day, they said it could not be fixed and I would have to buy a new tire. They also told me they could not put on "mismatched" tires so I would have to buy four brand new ones. I bought a home plug kit and fixed it for 10 bucks. I decided not to ever use them again. Last week I relented and took them my car for a front end alignment,,, once again, they said I would have to replace suspension components before they could align it. They offered to hold my car for two weeks while they ordered new parts and fixed it. I took it home and replaced the parts myself. Today I took it back in for the alignment. After an hour, they called and said I needed new tie rods,,, again, they offered to "give me an estimate" on that job. Problem is, I just replaced "ALL" the suspension components including the tie rods. They are flat our liars, scammers and cheaters! Run away from this company! read more

Awful. Never going here again. And if you want honest service you wouldn't either. Took my car in to get new tires. And they tried tell me my brakes needed to be fixed. I wasn't too concerned bc my brakes were fine. Then as i was driving it I was noticing the brakes different but thought it must be the new tires. But now I couldn't brake fast and my brakes would go all the way to the floor b4 it stopped. So we took it in to get the estimate and diagnosis. They tried tell me that it would take $900 to fix them but here they filled the brake fluid but told me it wouldn't last bc there was a leak. My car braked better but I was freaked bc I have young kids in my car all the time. So I took it to a family mechanic. There isn't anything wrong with my brakes. No leak. No problems. Sorry you won't get my business ever again Goodyear. And shame on you. Shame. read more

Liked them at one time, but no more, cannot be trusted, they will find a way to squeeze you for more even for something you don't need. Had screw in tire, took to get patched, they called to tell me I need to replace the tire because of cracking. My Goodyear Wrangler tires have YEARS left on them, rediculous and was patched elsewhere by professionals without question. Also know someone who had similar experience with safety check, they tried to add work that had nothing to do with the check, wouldn't give safefy without it, unethical and untrustworthy. read more

Great for tires and oil changes but do NOT RECOMMEND them for anything else! They always try to find additional repairs and try to get more money out of you, there very expensive and come across rude and have lots of corporate red tape, very frustrating when you ask a question or challenge them with questions! Again, there good with oil changes and tires, however stay away from them for anything more! When I first moved to the island I was weary to find an oil change place I could trust. You know how it goes, you take it in for an oil change and WOW they found all these other things that need fixed. I've been three times and haven't had any sketchy problems. Always very honest and quick. If you buy your tires there they take car of you on rotations. I highly recommend them for people looking for a great place with friend staff. Mahalo guys! After having a bad experience at the Kahului Good year we headed to Kihei to see if they could mount and balance our tires. Cheryl Rames was our customer service representative at the counter and was helpful and professional. Our quote was clearly explained to us and we happy to discover that we were not charged the additional $260.36 that were tacked onto the original quote!! Big thanks goes to Danlee as well as he maden sure that he could perform the job and he was engaged in our concerns and situation. Even though they had to get our tires from the Kahului location which resulted in a trip back the next to pick them up it was definitely worth the wait. Aloha @ it's finest! I was greeted warmly & promptly as I approached the front desks and explained that my air pressure notice was on my dashboard. They immediately had me drive up to a bay (they were all very busy but stopped to help) and began to check each tire. I have a import car without a dealer on Maui & they were the only establishment to get the sensor notice to turn off simply by correcting the air pressure. I had been to a repair shop (they said I needed a new sensor) & another tire shop previously & no success. They did it all complementary! Mahalo Goodyear. Horrible service....stay away they are rip offs! Took work van in for repairs, after 8 days they kept van it would not even idle on driving away and then brakes did not work. Took it back to complain, they kept it another 3 days said I needed to take it to dealer said "everything is how it should be" Charges were almost $800 for no idle, no brakes, no safety. They also quoted extra wok they recommended for $1100.00. Went to 3 competitors to compare price, it was 4X what others charge! They should be kicked off the island, no room for these criminals here. read more

And with the coupon it was still quite expensive and then knowing what type of car when checked they tried to charge me more then the final quote for materials. Won't be back!!! read more
