Once again, I'm a satisfied customer. I brought my car here two days ago at about 7 am when they opened because the undercarriage started dragging again. They had fixed it for no charge last year but with all of the potholes in this city it was inevitably going to come off again since my car sits very low. I had them just remove the whole thing since it was damaged and also I was able to get an oil change with synthetic oil which included a free tire rotation. They called me and gave me an update and advised me of how much longer they would need to keep my car in order to fix everything. I had my car back in about three hours as promised and I left with more money than I thought I would. :) The waiting area is clean with a large TV, coffee, and magazines to help you pass the time. Fortunately, I have a friend who lives nearby so I went to visit. I will definitely come back the next time I need an oil change, brakes, tires, or anything. read more

Sarah is TERRIBLE when it comes to customer service. She added an unauthorized charge (wheel alignment) to my purchase and attempted to justify it by saying that she told me that it was necessary when replacing the cv axles. On my original quote it said they were recommending a 3 year alignment service. Even if it were the case to need it with an axle replacement, it was not explained to me ahead of me picking up my vehicle. I dropped my car off on a Thursday and didn't pick it up until the following Friday. A whole week later. When I expressed that she didn't tell me that it was necessary, she continued to say yes she did. There's no way someone who receives so many cars remembers what they said to someone over a week prior. My cousin, who takes her car to this location frequently, said she tried to pull a fast one on her with her vehicle with the same thing. She quickly removed the charge from my balance with me expressing my dissatisfaction which felt strange to do it so quickly if it was indeed a necessary accompaniment and you were so confident that you explained that it was to me. The charge seemed to have changed from the original recommendation of a 3 year alignment for $229.99 to $139.99 and I also noticed she added "suggested to customer" to probably cover herself which was not true at all. Definitely think I would remember someone saying you need this and the price is going to decrease by $100. Her attitude was unreal to say shes one of the faces of the business. The poor level of customer service that I received from her was unacceptable, antagonistic, and unsettling to the point that I felt it was necessary to request to speak to the manager. He expressed to me that they want to do the job right. I expressed to him that good service and doing the job right, but also includes good customer service. Leaving out important information that would inflate my balance and then expecting me to just pay it assuming your goodwill in looking out for what's best for my vehicle is not what I expect at all. Excellence should be the standard when it comes to customer service at any business and I definitely did not receive that with Sarah. read more

I love Goodyear tires! Have been using Goodyears since I was in my 20s. They have consistently gotten me good fuel economy, handling, and tread wear. This service station, though, disappointed me for quite a few reasons. I came in to get a tire replaced. Came in around 9:15am and was told my specific tire was not in stock but they could get it from the warehouse. I was told by the salesman that the tire would be there in less than 30 mins. I go to Lowe's across the street to kill some time. I return around 10am and my truck is still not even in the garage bay. There are only two other customer cars at this time. Long story short I had to wait till 11:55am before my tire arrived. A taxi driver brought the tire from the warehouse as I saw the driver bring it inside myself. I wasn't upset about the waiting but I didn't appreciate some of the other employees not being truthful about why it's taking so long for my tire to come from the warehouse on Airline Dr. I was told by two other employees that it was on the way when we all knew that they just didn't have anyone to bring the tire until they got that taxi driver to do so. Just tell me from the beginning it's going to be a few hours to get the tire in and I would wait all day for it if need be. I'm patient. Once my tire arrived it was put on and I was out the door in less than 20 mins. Overall I still love Goodyears but just don't like dishonesty. So probably won't come back here. They offered me a free oil change for the inconvenience of waiting 3 hrs for a 30 min job. I think I'll pass on the free oil change there. read more

Such bs. The guy starts taking my information. I say wait - "how long will this take." He says he can't tell me until he takes a look at it. Ok. I take an assessment. Only 1 other car in a bay. They do the basic job but usually try to up-sell you on more than what you came in for. However, I'm assuming execs or management probably tell them to do that. Can be slow getting service. Recently I came in at 10am, and they said they couldn't plug a tire that day-- all day?! So you're backed up so badly you can't put a plug in a tire over the course of 7 hours? Come on. read more

Been bringing in my truck for years here at Goodyear. Today will he my last. After have my oil change, tire rotation, brake and shocks replaced, Goodyear does not tight my lug nuts on all four of my tires. Service teams needs to do better. read more

WARNING !!!! The prices are over priced. As a mechanic of over 30 years that just did not want to get dirty today. I have a 2001 Honda with over 205,000 miles on it. At this point and my car is life it's really not worth putting large amounts of money into it it's worth less than $2000. I paid $52 for them to diagnose my Strat issue and they called me later on that evening what the price of over $700 to replace the struts. Of course they wanted to replace ball joints upper and lower a arms and tie rods as well. Which honestly is a good thing but due to the age of this car it's not worth the money My warning to you is if you don't know about mechanics are wet repair should cost steer away from the shop. As I was sitting there on her damn charger lady to more than $250 to do front brakes which is extremely overpriced I should've ran out the door after hearing that but I stayed. read more

All things being equal, this is the most honest place to have your car service. When I got a long list of things that were wrong for my Mazda3 from Paretti, I decided to check this place. I took it for a regular oil change and once they were done, I asked about the items that had been highlighted at Paretti. They not only showed my that there was nothing wrong with such items, but also they educated me what to look for in case they was something wrong. This alone saved me close to $1500. I go here for their oil service. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. If my tires are in need of replacement they take me o the bay and showed me what and why they are wearing out. This is a relatively new facility that is easily accessible from Veterans Memorial Boulevard. read more

Went there tonight to get a new set of shoes for my lovely lady, Stella. They were quick and seemed like they wanted to give me a good deal. The sales guy actually knew all about my company and we caught up on a few people we knew. (The small town of New Orleans, especially Metairie.) Got a decent deal and said I could have them on my car in an hour. I had my little dogs with me but they said it wasn't a problem. So my two babies hung out with me around the shop, chilling in the waiting room. Because of that, I ended up getting to know everyone in the store. It's amazing how everyone is drawn to dogs. Will definitely be back- especially since I got the 3 year wheel alignment. But after seeing their fast and courteous service, I don't mind seeing them for that stuff I'll need to do to my car anyway. read more

I brought my car here to get an oil change. The next time I returned they told me that hex bolt was stripped, so they couldn't change the oil. After I told them they were the only place I've gotten my oil changed at in that car. The manager( bald headed fat guy) said, " I understand that but I don't know who did it". I went here once and whomever was running the shop did excellent, but upon return my tire sensors were not rotated properly. As my back tire lost air my dashboard was reading it was the front tire. I used to go here years ago. Once when I had a very unnecessary oil change, I had to take my car right back there. They had done something wrong. They would not pay my cab fare. I had to leave the car and take a cab home and then back to pick car up another day. They would always change my brake lights or turn signal lights without asking or telling me. We needed our two front tires replaced and set up an online appointment. My husband accidentally put in tomorrow's date and we didn't realize it until we got there. They pulled it up on their computer and said it was set for tomorrow. My husband realized his mistake but they said, no problem, we can still take you right now. Parts installers not machanics botched my wife's timing belt install they put the belt on and didn't do any seal's oil seal seal water pump seal and oil pump was leaking oil ruins timing belts took it back and they said they would fix it if we bought a new oil pump for 300 bucks and pay them labor to take the timing belt off again these pumps are macanical and out live the motor replacing seal's is standard for timing belt replacement they charged 600 to do the timing belt wound up paying someone else 800 to re do the work out 1400 read more

So my wife had a screw in her tire and Delta World Tire was closed with it being New Year's Eve (although they didn't have a sign on the door or anything on their website saying they would be). So my wife called the Goodyear and they told her the patch would be free but that the removal replacement of the tire and balance would be $18. She gets there and they print an estimate for $38 and when she tells them no way and that she was quoted $18 they immediately changed the price to $18. Then they pulled the wheel off the car and told her it couldn't be patched and tried to sell her a new tire. I had already checked the tire and knew it could be patched (I've worked in the automotive industry and raced my whole life). She called me and I told her they were lying and to leave. When she told the guy that I told her the tire was patchable he agreed that it was but said they "couldn't do it within Goodyear's guidelines". In my opinion they were very dishonest and we will never go back. Follow up: she went to NTB and got it patched. They were a bit more expensive at $33 but they did it right and didn't try to mislead her. read more

This used to be a good place to go. Not anymore. Took my car in for an oil change and a low tire that needed to be checked. They called me and said the tire couldn't be repaired and I also needed a whole new set of tires because mine were dry rotted. Ok. So I pick up the car and get on the expressway and my car felt like it was going to shake apart. Took it back and they said they forgot to put a weight on one of the tires. Ok. Picked up the car again and it was still shaking like crazy. Took it back again. Now they said I had a cracked rim and a new one would cost 756.00. I had NOTHING WRONG with my car when I took it in. When I tried to reason with the manager he was rude and dismissed me. Now I'm stuck with a car that is not safe to drive. They've also tried to sell me things in the past that my car didn't really need. Very disappointed. read more

Pretty much things haven't changed for the Goodyear place on Division. Went in for oil change and tire rotation. I have a lifetime tire rotation and they tried to say they don't offer that anymore. I "convinced them" to do it anyway. Not sure if they did it or not. Came back with a list of things I needed to do to my car. Struts, back brakes, rotors.. Brake fluid needed flushing because there was too much copper in the fluid. I know they didn't check the fluid because the compartment the reservoir is in is dusty and there were no finger prints. Also flush the power steering fluid. Total of $1632.79 LOL That's the last time I am going in there...DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE! They are trying to steal your money...The oil change is advertised for $19.99 and ends up costing $33.35.. read more

Went here for a simple oil change and had a major oil leak the next day! Contacted the manager who asked me to email him the pictures. Email was sent on January 19, 2016. NO RESPONSE. Never again will I go there for anything. What I emailed below. Manager, I had close friend with 20+ years of experience as a mechanic look at my car. He suggested we changed the Oil Filter Housing Gasket due to the mileage and normal wear and tear over time. After the gasket was replaced, we cleaned down the area and proceeded to start the car. Attached are the pictures of the O ring not being replaced resulting in the oil leak. I don't have pictures in my phone but after the replacement of the o ring, there was no oil leak. In terms, of expenses I really don't have any but receipts of tools and equipment needed to fix the problem which are minimal. It may or may not have been an honest mistake. I'm not here trying to get a dollar, but as a customer it was just frustrating the time an effort put in to determined that a simple o ring was the culprit. read more

This store replaced one of my tires, less than two weeks ago. Shortly after, my TPMS light came on my dash. I manually reset it twice. Before the third time, I checked all tires and even added air before returning to this store. Took it to the store on Friday, June 5th to have them took a look. Technician saw nothing wrong, added some more PSI to the tires and sent me on my way approximately 11am. By 5pm that day, the TPMS light came on again. Today, I took the vehicle back & explained what had been happening. This diagnosis came back that all the batteries were dead in all four tires and you cannot replace on battery, it has to be the whole system. $693! I called the manager, Kevin, after I left to express my displeasure in their service. He suggested I take the vehicle to a dealership to have the computer reset the TPMS before replacing the system. Same issue, three different suggestions, one of which being a nearly $700 replacement. I called another shop and they said if a TPMS sensor is bad in a tire, it can be replaced and that the entire system does not necessarily need replaced. They also quoted me the day the tire was replaced over $1200 in work for my front and rear lower control arms. Took the vehicle to Trep's in Mid-City for a second opinion. Trep's said the control arms were fine. Bottom line: Do not trust this store. They hire inexperienced, unqualified technicians who will always "find" something that needs fixed. Do not trust a franchise, have your work done at a local shop. read more

I was selling our very reliable, well maintained Toyota Corolla. The buyer took it here, with me, for an "independent" inspection. After allegedly putting the car on the rack, the service dept came back with over $3,100 they said were necessary repairs/replacements. Goodyear said I needed my oil changed, despite the windshield sticker showing it was done less than 3 months ago. When I pointed this out to the employee, he merely scratched it out. They said I needed my struts and shocks replaced when these were all done 9 months ago. This work is easily verified when a car is (actually) put on a rack as the new ones are registered and dated. Goodyear even had the audacity to list replacing hoses that are not found on Toyotas. I brought the car to the reputable Toyota dealership we have used for many years. They ran a computerized diagnostic report which showed that other than the recommendations for a new battery and tires, EVERYTHING in Goodyear's estimate was unnecessary. read more

Avoid this place! They forced me to use the expensive blend oil, even though Goodyear's own website recommended the cheaper conventional oil for my car. Also, I brought in my own new wiper blades and asked how much they would charge to put them on. The cashier said, "oh, just a few bucks. Five dollars". I agreed and told him the new wipers were sitting on the back seat. Come to pay, and they have charged me $10 for the wipers. When I reminded the man that he had quoted me $5, he said that was per wiper! Really?! What a joke. $10 for what was probably all of 90 seconds of labor. Way to lose a customer, Goodyear! read more

I don't trust these guys any more. I bought a complete set of new tires. One got a nail in it. They told me it was too far in the side and they couldn't repair it, so I'd have to get a new tire (plus the nearly $70 for all the installation fees!) so I did. A few months later, I had another nail, this one much more toward the center. They again said they "couldn't" repair it. After a brief discussion, it turns out they consider it a liability to repair tire except in the very middle of the tire, so I left and went to my regular mechanic. They fixed my tire, filled and balanced it, replaced it on my car, and put my spare in the trunk for $11 and I was back on the road. read more

I brought my car in because I had a slow leak in both my tires on the drivers side. They have had the leak almost from the time I purchased the tires. I would stop by periodically for them to but air in the tires. Last week I decided to leave the car and have them check it out. They told me it would be an hour. 2 1/2 hours later they said I did not have a leak in either tire but that my front tire had a bad sensor and that was causing my tire to lose air. It cost $160.00 for the new sensor. When I left I checked my tire pressure ( my car has an app that shows how much air is in each tire). It didn't show anything. It wasn't working. It worked fine when I brought the car in. So I went back to the store and after about 45 minutes they figured out what was wrong and they fix it and I can now see how much air is in my tires. After about 3 days I checked the pressure and my front tire was low again. So today I brought it back and I've been here almost 2 hours and they said they found a small leak. So I really didn't need to spend the $160.00 because that was not the problem. I asked them to check the rear tire again and they said I had a nail in it. I don't know why they didn't see it last week when they checked it. I think next time I need tires I will found someplace else to give my business to. read more
