Great experience! Took my Explorer it because my brakes were making noise. They fully explained that the rotors were warped and could not be turned. Replaced both the front, but they said the pads still had some life and didn't need to be changed. They checked the back brakes as well. I love that they don't push work that does not need to be done right away. Fair price for what they did. Will be back! read more

I have never really had a great experience here. I chose to come here because I moved from a different state and had Goodyear tires and the 3 year alignment plan. Every single time I've been there (about 10 times in the last two years, with 4 cars) it's been a pain. I always make my appointments on line and clearly select what I need to have done. EVERY time I've been in, the person at the counter relays how busy they are and how things like a simple oil change will take all day. The two more prevalent excuses are 1. We don't see the online appointments until they're made, and 2. We don't have enough people here today. In my last experience, which was enough to trigger this review, I had once again made an appointment online for 9:00am. When I went online to check, the only appointments not available were the 7:00 and 8:00 time spots. The rest of the day was clear and selectable. So I selected. I just needed an oil change, tire rotation, and alignment check. I received a call about an hour after I made the appointment. The gentleman from Goodyear stated/asked, "we've got a lot going on. Is there a better day for you?" No there's not a better day! That's why I made the appointment when I did! Thanks to your history of poor service, I know I have to go a whole day without my car! I took the day off from work. I won't ever go back here. My family will never go back here. We have 4 cars. I'm optimistic that there's another service location in Niceville that cares a little bit more. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We took our car in to have a patch on a screw that was in the tread. We thought they had fixed it. But a few days later the tire pressure was low again. We took it in again to get it looked at and adjust the patch. They wanted to charge us another $32. After a few hours they send a picture of the tire with a screw sticking out of the side wall. They wanted to charge $500 to put a new tire on. The screw was not there when we took it in. It was put there during the time it was in the shop. It's despicable and unacceptable. Do not go to Goodyear in Niceville. They are not trustworthy. read more

The guys were friendly but I was not happy about getting my car serviced there. They quoted me a price and then of course after starting the work they said this needs to be done and this needs to be done. I ended up paying way more than what was expected. To top that they didn't even do the tire rotation they were supposed to do. I was highly disappointed. They uncharge and do surprise charges. read more

Exceptional customer service! Found a big nail in my heavy duty truck tire 400 miles from home so I made an appointment first thing the next morning to bring it in for repair. They took it in immediately, removed the tire and found the nail immediately which was far too close to the sidewall to repair. I have been using the Niceville location for several years to service all my vehicles, which at one point was 6 at the same time. They have always been honest and up front about issues that can crop up during vechicle maintenance. The always make good on their commitments. The difference maker for me with this establishment is the honesty and effort they put forth. There are always going to be issues with man made items and there we occassionally be mistakes made, how they are handled make the difference. Had a slow leak in my tire and they patched it for free. They even squeezed it in while they were already busy. Great service.

We took my flat tire to get fixed. We dropped the tire of at 9:00 Am. We waited all day to get it fixed. We drive up at 5:00 Pm and they stated the tire isn't fixable. Please don't waste your time here. It doesn't take 8 hrs to determine if a tire is fixable. All the want is it sell you a new tire. Now we have to drive 13 hrs on a spare tire..... read more

went to have alignment on my vehicle, was called and told that I needed the tie rod replaced because it had to much play. when I said I already knew that there was slight play in tie rod, I was told that if I didn't replace it the alignment couldn't be performed because the adjuster was maxed out. I was here a couple weeks ago for a routine tire rotation and oil change. Two hours later a technician walked out and told me my drain plug to release the oil was "over torqued" or turned too tightly and that he broke his socket wrench on it and he might break the oil pan if he turned it again (a very pricey repair). They also told me my tires were legally bald and needed replaced immediately. I had them take my car off the jack and went down the street to another local shop who explained there was nothing wrong with my drain plug and easily changed the oil. They also measured my tires, which were still in very good condition. I would not recommend this place - either the staff is not trained to fix cars or they are trying to steal your money. After having my car held hostage at Pep Boys ( I had to pay 65 more dollars yet no "extra" work had been done), I went to Goodyear. The quote was accurate. I was treated with respect. I overheard the manager at Pep Boys and discovered they had no respect for any of their customers. The manager was laughing about how easy it was to talk customers into repairs or add-ons that were completely unnecessary. I never experienced this with Goodyear and have been back for another service only to get the same great service. ABC Auto is a Niceville business that has reasonable rates and unbelievable turn-around time. The service was excellent. I do not know any of these people personally. Simply, letting new folks to the area know the businesses that do not have a problem ripping off the military (Pep Boys) and those businesses who practice with ethics and morals ( Goodyear and ABC Auto, so far). I have faith that more ethical businesses exist in Niceville. Pep Boys is not among them. read more

Went to this goodyear to get my break pads and rotars replaced in just the rear. I knew that was all that was wrong with my car and told them that when i took it in. 2 hours later they call me up and tell me that my entire rear break system is warped and and instead of paying the 330 dollars to replace my break pads and rotars. I was going to have to shell out 1,200 dollars for break pads, calipers, rotars, break hoses (because apparently there was leak) and a break fluid flush. I took it somewhere else and got the breaks and rotars fixed for 300 dollars. And they told me everything was fine. The people that work there may seem like nice blue collared men. But they are theives who lie to get more money out of you. I am disgusted by those people and that goodyear. It makes me sick knowing im not the only one they do it to. Im letting everyone i know to stay away from there. They are crooks. read more

I ordered tires and rims for my truck thru Tire Rack and had them sent to Goodyear of Niceville so they could do the install. I made the appointment which was going to be 3 days later and when I got there and dropped it off and went home, about an hour later Goodyear calls me and tells me they can't do the install because they would possibly scratch my aftermarket rims because there machinery is not up to date. With that comment left me wondering, does that mean they scratch everybody's rims when they do a mount and balance!?! In my opinion there was a loss of professionalism not telling me this before I arrived for my appointment. They had the tire and rims for 3 days and one would think that a simple assessment would have been done to let the customer know. I was born and raised in Niceville and have seen the Goodyear tire store have different ownerships thru the years and it's unfortunate that the quality has diminished to where the customer is not top priority anymore. read more
