I had all my rotors and brake pads replaced last October, and I had a squeaky and scratchy noise with the new brakes from then on, and thought it would go away as the brakes are new. It never went away and got worse. Two months ago, I called them up and explained what is going on with the brakes and rotors. They asked me to come over and put on some lubricant. According to the person who assisted me there told me that the brake was kind of installed too tight and they loosened it up. For sake of fairness, they did this for free. But the issue didn't go away. Every time when I hit the brake especially on the highway, the whole car and the steering wheel got very shaky. I brought the car to them yesterday. They said "you need to replace the both front rotors and brake pads. Because your car is old and ate them up". I told them "it doesn't make any sense to replace the rotors and brake pads that are not even 10 month old..." Brian (I think he is a manager) told me "your car is kind of old. So, it just ate it up". I told him, "look the rear ones replaced in the same time are perfectly fine. How come the car can 'ate up' the rotors so quickly..." Brian is very defensive. I had no choice but the replace it with a "much better ones" with a "good price" at $400 plus $200 for replacing sway bar links underneath. All seemed to be fine, but when I drove back home I realized a new clicking noise was introduced to my steering wheel when I make left turn. I called them up today. Brian answered the call and the attitude was very dismissive and reluctant. Probably this will be my last time to deal with them. This place has been consistently great. I've been here multiple times and they always have great communication and are flexible to work with you. Most recently, I got stuck at work and wasn't able to bring my car in to my oil change on time so I called and they still let me bring it in ~45 minutes late. I happen to get a flat in the parking lot of TDwhatever discount tires by the UPS store across from Wawas. To get turned down becuase of appointment or whatever excuse they gave.. still had to go on and leave ON RIMS.. I called GoodYear.. the 1570 address .. spoke to Mr. Brian Callahan .. ( had to put the respect on it) Who then reassured me before I reached that the issue could be resolved, get there met another staff member who greeted me n got on the case from I stepped into the door.. My wife was taking our cars here because we couldn't find a local reliable repair shop. They are nice and accommodating but found out today another problem they caused. Just paid 100 to get new lug nuts because they were stripped. Had tires done a few months ago and after there was a funny sound. Brought it back to them and they said all was fine. Brought to another shop and... big surprise - bearing issue ... $2,200. Brought vehicles back multiple times after getting work done here. I think they are just totally inept. I asked them to fix the issue with the brake pressure in my car. Whenever I hit a bump, the brakes become completely soft. They replaced the entire brake system, except for the master cylinder, but the problem persists. I picked up my car on Friday, but had to return it right away. The story changed from two mechanics test driving it to five, and they claimed to have bled it three then five times. As a woman, it's been challenging for me to have mechanics take me seriously. Yesterday (Monday), I picked up my car again, but the brakes are still soft with air coming out of the pedal. A simple Google search indicates that there might be pressure loss through one of the hoses. Despite spending $1200 and the head mechanic insisting they did everything they could, I'm not willing to take the car back to that repair shop. I now have to find another mechanic in the middle of the work week. I had always liked Goodyear Auto. But Unfortunately after this I will not return. read more

I stopped in and not only was the prices better than most areas- but they were so accommodating and friendly. Been there several times for oil changes and tire rotation. The work is usually done right. However, I did experience an issue when the oil filter was not replaced properly. Also needed the corrosion on one of my rims removed and they quoted me $150 minimum for a job that was done elsewhere for about 30 bucks. read more

Went in for an alignment, they found that the previous mechanic that I went to damaged my passenger side outer tie rod and incorrectly performed my last alignment. They were able to get the parts on the spot and repair the car as well as perform the alignment. The pricing I think was more than fair, the time spent there was also I think acceptable. My car is now driving much better than before. I also had my 3yr old daughter with me , the staff helped me keep her entertained while we were there as well as showed me the issues they found and talked me through everything, the receptionist Allison was phenomenal, she got my daughter coloring books, stickers, talked with her, played music for her. I most certainly intend on returning to Goodyear for my future automotive needs. A+. read more

Very attentive staff... I came in with a flat, thought I had popped a tire but found out it was a cracked rim. Quick and efficient in putting on a spare tire for me so I could get home, and ordering a new rim which was in and ready by the next afternoon. It was the worst timing possible for me to have a car issue, but I was expecting far more hassle than I actually got - and credit for that goes to the quality of staff and management in this location. read more

Fast and friendly service and it's nice to know your dealing with honest people. Had a flat tire just after five pm one day and every shop around was already closed and I knew I still had to put on the spare so it was going be late when I got there, but I called and they told me no rush,they'd be there and when I got there just before their closing time they fixed my flat good as new and told me there was no charge. Sweet girl at counter couldn't be nicer and it's obvious the place is well managed. Very hard these days finding air for a tire, but they were more than willing to help me and wouldn't take any money for their trouble. Good to know that great customer service can still be found. This Good Year location is awesome!!! Brian could not have been more helpful!! I was traveling from Virginia and got a flat tire. The tires on my car were only 1 month old so I knew I needed to find the same tire. I called Brian in a panic and he was so calm and reassuring that it put me at ease. He ordered the tire that night so it would be available the next day. When I finally got the car into Good Year we realized the rim was bent. Again I started to panic that my car wouldn't be done in time for me to get back home and again Brian was so calm and reassuring. He insisted I not waste the money on a new rim and instead he was able to get my rim fixed for a fraction of the cost of s new one. Brian and all his staff could not have been more helpful and professional! I only wish I lived in NJ so I could use them again. The other day my wife's tire light came on when she was driving home. It was after 6:00 pm so there weren't to many choices of where to go. I Googled tire repair shops in my area and seen that the Goodyear Auto Center on Rt 23 Butler, NJ near my home was still open. By the time I got there it was 6:30 pm and they were closing at 7:00 pm. I explained my problem to Sonnie Vella, the Assistant Store Manger and she stated that she only had one mechanic working and that they were getting ready to close. She went in to the repair shop and told Brian Callahan, the Store Manager about my problem. After working a 12 hour day Brian agreed to fix my problem , while Sonnie was pulling my wife's car into the shop she heard that the front left tire was losing air from the stem and told Brian. He removed the inner valve stem and replaced it. He then checked all of the tires topping off the pressures before returning the car to me. When I asked him what I owed him he said nothing , mind you I have never been in this store before but both Sonnie and Brian took excellent care of me. I was back on the road in no time, Problem solved. So I choose both Sonnie Vella and Brian Callahan as my heroes of the day and would recommend that if your in need of auto repairs this is the place to go. read more

If I could post a zero I would. I just took my car in for an auto change on Saturday. I noticed on Monday that my car smelt like oil. On my way to work my engine oil pressure light came on. I figured that they just forgot to reset it, but at the same time thought it would be good to take it in to a local shop just to make sure. Turns out that Goodyear did not check the oil filter and did not change out the oil filter which caused all the oil to leak out. What kind of Business are you guys running here! read more
