The owner quoted my parents and me two different prices and charged us for a premium package that included security--yet no security was provided, despite us paying for it. 3 hours before the end of the event, the owner repeatedly turned on the lights, which caused many of our guests to leave early. We were also charged for projector screens that we were unable to use due to a lack of proper connections, and no refund was offered. Overall, the experience was horrible, and my mother's party was completely ruined.

After I was told this wasn't an option, I said no problem I'll see you tonight. Without my approval, the hotel canceled my reservation and charged me the night stay. I've left multiple messages with the manger requesting an explanation and haven't received a call back in two weeks. I fully understand the cancellation policy however feel a return call isn't too much to ask for. Rooms are fine but I'll be staying somewhere else from now on.

I am extremely disappointed with how management handles customer property damage at this resort…read more While parked at The Wigwam, a stray golf ball from the nearby course struck the trunk of my 2025 Lexus ES 350, leaving a significant dent. There are no "park at your own risk" warning signs posted anywhere in this parking area. I immediately reported the damage to security, who came out and filed an official incident report. I was assured that the Director of Operations, Sheffield Crosby, would reach out to me the following Monday with the results of their investigation. It has been complete radio silence ever since. Despite leaving voicemails and sending an email, management refuses to return my calls, acknowledge the incident, or address my concerns. It is incredibly frustrating that a resort of this caliber simply sweeps incidents like this under the rug and pretends they never happened once you leave the property. If you are visiting or staying here, be highly aware that your vehicle is at risk of damage from the golf course, and the leadership team will completely ignore you when it happens. Park at your own risk, because management certainly won't take any responsibility. TO THE OWNER: no need to reply with a "we are disappointed," "we are committed to customer service," or similar generic comments. You had plenty of opportunities to make this right.

The hotel has a pool but we've never used it. Looks clean, though! The air conditioning in the room is perfect! The fitness room is really nice! Two treadmills, one elliptical and a bike. Nice selections of mats, weights, and exercise balls. Water refill station. The AC was wonderful in there! (I always run hot!) We have no complaints about our stays here. Highly recommend!

As a pet friendly hotel, I appreciated the pet area. I did NOT appreciate the maintenance workers that made it a point to showcase their fear of my pit bull/boxer mix. If you're afraid of dogs, please don't work in a hotel that allows pets. Breakfast is not worth it. It's all grab and go stuff. NO chairs by the pool, so even if we wanted to go swimming, there'd be nowhere for us to relax afterwards. The actual hotel room is very minimalist. Hard floors throughout, open shelves and a bar to hang your clothes. There is a small dorm size fridge, but no microwave. Shower is a walk in and no tub. Complimentary shampoo, soap, and conditioner are large squeeze tubes mounted to the wall. My room was mostly clean but did have some obvious wear even though it's not that old. Overall, it was quiet and I slept great. Negatives - workout room has two treadmills and an exercise bike and a variety of balls and weight benches. But no weights! There were three medicine balls, three different sized kettle bells, and a two pound dumbbell. If you are looking for more than just cardio options, stay somewhere else. There are no nice restaurants within walking distance of this hotel (when it is 110 out) as of when I stayed there. There is a really nice looking White Castle and QuickTrip gas station next door, but everything else was a few blocks away. Oddities/tips They give you a parking pass and tell you to park around back. The pass says they charge $10/day for parking but I didn't get charged. This hotel has tons of parking around it so no idea why they would charge for parking. They don't have a pool per their website and don't tell you when you check in, but my key worked to access the pool next to the hotel! I wouldn't stay here if I wanted to be guaranteed a pool but it's worth trying if you decide you want to go for a swim! The pool is fairly small so maybe during peak use periods, Tru guests wouldn't have access. Overall I am not sure I would stay here again unless I thought the "game room" lobby would be handy like if I was traveling with a group of families or friends who wanted a place to hangout. Management denied a refund and offered an inappropriate resolution that required switching hotels twice, even after I explained I would be staying out most of the night and not return until almost 6am they still wanted me to play musical chairs between the hotels.
