Bagel Boss is everywhere, but I haven't been to this location before. It's a huge breakfast place but always has some actions with people coming and going and pretty long, like at the order counter. This location has a good parking space too. Andy, the bagel master, can prepare any bagel you want. Say it, and he'll make it. We ordered an everything bagel with fresh lox and cream cheese. Then we also ordered Challah French Toast to go. When a restaurant uses Challah bread for French Toast, you know it's the best! I loved my bagel, too, because they're generous with the lox. Great breakfast place!

paper thin cold egg, cheese not even melted, not toasted sad bagel

So, there's no signage anywhere stating that this is a kosher establishment, so no bacon egg and cheese to be found here. You wouldn't know before waiting in line, fine. Asked for the bagel toasted (it was not) but FURTHERMORE, the eggs were COLD and the cheese wasn't even MELTED (because the whole bagel was cold). Flavorless, had to throw out.

    Horrible.

I hate to do this but this is the WORST bagel store I've ever been to anywhere including other states I've lived. From my bagel to my coffee to the linzer tart that wound up in the garbage...it was all disgusting. I was on my way to an appointment and decided to grab a quick breakfast. Oh what a mistake that was. So the grill they made my egg whites on must have had something foul on it because it stunk so bad. The coffee was so dark & tasted burnt. When I asked for more milk the woman was very nice BUT she said that's how there coffee is. She did add more milk but that did no good. Now the linzer tart looked good until I just tried a small piece off the back of it & well once again it was a epic fail. The linzer tart was so gross that it went right in the trash. So twenty something dollars wasted. Not sure how it was so busy but if those people in there are regulars I'm not sure how they stomach it.

probably the worst bagel i've ever had; cold, hard, disproportionately filled with cream cheese, took FOREVER to get. Pass.

We arrived at the restaurant shortly before their opening at 11:45am and only had to wait a few minutes. Upon entering, we were seated immediately and Paul, our server, came straight away to describe some lunch specials and take a drink order. We opted for a half dozen oysters and a half dozen clams to start and we devoured them! Fresh and served chilled, they were a positive way to start our meal. For lunch, we both ordered from the lunch specials menu for $16.95. For her it was a wrap that she had to take half home, and for me it was a pasta with bolognese sauce. Both were excellent and while we enjoyed the food, the restaurant quickly began to fill up. Within thirty minutes the tables and booths were mostly full. The old world charm of the Italian restaurant never disappoints and the music flowing throughout playing the old standards sets the mood for a pleasant experience. We love the atmosphere and the food is delicious. We hope to be lucky enough to be back soon.

We had to call in our order because this special isn't available as an option on their website. (We also ordered stuffed mushrooms, side of broccoli, baked clams, Bocourti Abruzzese.) It is so loud in there that the person who took our phone order couldn't hear the name of the person ordering, (despite repeating it multiple times) so when we picked it up they couldn't find our order immediately due to it being under the wrong name. The person on the phone also asked if we wanted mild sauce with the pasta that came with the scampi. The person ordering said out loud that he was never asked that for scampi before, then said I guess mild? It turns out the pasta that came with the scampi was served with mild RED sauce. Completely different from the scampi so they couldn't even be eaten together!

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere that feels a little upscale but still comfortable. The flight and filet special was a good value at $52 and included a wine flight, filet and a mini indulgence dessert. The wine flight was fun to try and a nice way to sample different options with dinner. The filet was tender, flavorful and cooked as requested. My partner tried the filet and lobster tail. The lobster tail was tender and paired well with the steak. For dessert, I selected the peanut butter chocolate mini indulgence, which was the perfect size to end the meal without feeling too heavy. Service was attentive and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but the $52 special felt like a good deal for what was included. I would return to try other menu items in the future.

The cocktail drinks took a long time to arrive, and they arrived after the appetizers--and were incorrect, so we had to send them back. The main dishes took another hour to be served. I have pictures with timestamps showing the delay, with over an hour between the appetizers and the main courses. During this time, we asked for extra bread and clarification, but the servers seemed unsure and kept pointing at each other, which was frustrating. Later, a manager explained that the delay was due to our ordering moussaka, but if the kitchen was overwhelmed, they could have let us know. We're reasonable guests, but their explanations felt lacking. Overall, the service was quite poor. To make matters worse, they added a 20% gratuity charge--something we usually tip pretty well even though service is too bad to tip. But I don't expect to tip 20% to this horrible service. We really enjoy the food here, but unfortunately, due to the experience, we don't think we'll be returning.
