I bought three dresses, with scarves included, 3 pairs of fabulous designer shoes, some reasonably priced designer vintage handbags and a gorgeous formal minidress/long top. I've worn everything except one pair of shoes so far and I've gotten lots of compliments. The owners are really great. Noelle stuck it out with me for the longest time, and was skillful at styling me and finding shoes, handbags and even lovely jewelry pieces to go with the outfits. This is a really really fun little hole in the wall of a boutique!! It's really tiny, but I was in there for hours trying things on and uncovering so many treasures. Amazing little shop!!! I'lll be back again and again. Such great Customer Service! You just don't find this kind of personalized styling anywhere even when a personal stylist is supposedly working with you, often all they are doing is checking fit and getting different sizes or suggesting alterations. Having worked there providing health care to a much marginalized population, I'm always proud to sport some Tenderloin-related gear. They have lots of unique and cool vintage in all sizes. There are also accessories, creative stickers, and my favorite--turquoise jewelry. They can also add custom embroidery to items, for a very reasonable cost! This shop feels so cozy, and we were greeted and felt welcome! My boyfriend and I were in Montara on vacation, and stopped in on our last day visiting. I'm so glad we did, because both found something we had to have. I hope to be back soon!

There's lots of sweet vintage finds, the kind of pieces that you covet for a lifetime: a small (but eclectic) collection of records, cool old art books, thoughtfully made jewelry, naturey smelling candles and a hodgepodge of ceramics, tshirts, and other doodads made by the owner, who is so, so kind and welcoming. Tidepool has a made excellent use out of front yard too- oftentimes when I've gone there's been a very sweet man selling African mud cloths and baskets. The shop also has a dreamy backyard where you can catch some rays (if you're lucky). Do yourself the favor of making this a pit stop or a final destination
