Okay in-store experience, not amazing but also not terrible, think I've been here about three times in total and purchased something each time. I saw the cutest pants but they didn't have my size at the store, so I figured I'd call a couple weeks later to see if they had any in stock again. The phone rings but no one ever answers. It's not super convenient for me to drive from Foster City to San Carlos for one pair of pants lol, maybe no one is answering my call because of my Fresno area code? Felt like after I called a second time it was intentionally sent to voicemail. Wanted to shop locally but found the pants online for exactly what I would have paid to them. Update: really impressed by the responsiveness from the owner and the ability to acknowledge shortcomings while providing alternative options to contact them. This just shows it's a much better shop than I initially thought. read more

I came here to look for my favorite tees from Le Bon Shoppe. It is surprisingly hard to find a high-quality cotton T, let alone one that is ethically sourced, and this store has lots of choices. Nice menswear options too. Friendly atmosphere, bright airy store, staff helpful on sizing. The pricing is fair for the quality. I'll be back with my hubby! read more

I discovered Unseen by accident when I was yelping a different store, and now almost a year later, half my paychecks are spent here I get a majority of mine and my 2 year old daughters clothes here and it's my go-to for gifts- always has the besssttt gift items, especially for kids! Emily has such a good eye for style and doesn't carry all the "basic" styles you see in malls. She also sources ethical brands which is super important when it comes to fashion. The style at unseen is a little more "edgy" which I felt was lacking in most of the boutiques in the area so I was super excited to find this gem almost a year ago! 1000% recommend checking it out! read more

A super sweet person named Emily actually hand delivered the hat to my doorstep after I reached out to ask about when I could expect the delivery to ship (was curious for photoshoot outfit planning for a client). My boyfriend went into this boutique to surprise me with a gift. Unfortunately, one of the items ran too small. It was unworn, with the tag still attached. I went in to exchange it; however, it was passed their 7 day policy (which wasn't expressed to my boyfriend beforehand). The business owner refused to let me even exchange it for something else or get store credit. I understand there is a policy now, however she was unwilling to do anything and was unprofessional and rude about it. She even made a comment to me that was unnecessary and offensive.
