Gopher Champs are really the people's Champs when it comes to getting rid of gophers and customer service! James is a class act, very friendly, professional and gives the impression that he truly loves what he does. I had some success with killing gophers on my own using Gopher Hawk Traps but it seemed after awhile these little buggers figured out the traps after having set them off without getting trapped and literally stayed completely away from the initial target area, tunneled under my driveway to the other side of my lawn creating a huge mess and new problem area. James came out set his traps on Wednesday morning, came back Friday morning and had eliminated two gophers! Good riddance! Thank you James and the Gopher Champs team! I just had new sod installed 2 months ago and I was really loving my yard. Then 1 day about 3 weeks ago I saw a dirt mound. I thought it may be a gopher, but I was hoping it was an ant hill. The only problem, there were no ants. Over the next week, I start to see dirt mound after dirt mound after dirt mound. Panic is starting to set in. My beautiful lawn wasn't looking so beautiful. I thought, let me see if I can tackle this myself, so on the Amazon I go. Looking for anything that looked like it worked for gophers. Well these ultrasonic repellents kept popping up. Some had good reviews and others not so much. Now on to YouTube to see what people had to say that made these purchases. Nothing was definitive, but good enough to make me try since it only cost $30 for 2. I was headed out of town so it was important that they came prior to me leaving so I could have some protection in place until I got back. Well, I got back to at least 5 more mounds. So, don't be sold on those ultrasonic repellents. They don't work. Now it was time to search for a professional. So I came straight to Yelp and that's where I found Gopher Champs. Jason came out and looked over the yard and determined he needed to set traps in 2 areas. He said he'd be back in 2 days to check the traps. Last night when I was inspecting the yard for new mounds (which there was none), I noticed that at one of the flags there were a lot of flies on and round it, and a trail of ants going down. Could it be? Jason contacted me this morning letting me know he was enroute to inspect the traps he placed. He pulled up the trap where all the buzzing was going on, and sure enough there was a gopher on it. He goes over to the other area, and there was a gopher on it too. I can't express how pleased I was to see the gophers on those traps, and no longer able to destroy my lawn. I would've loved to see them chased off with the ultrasonic repellents, but unfortunately those didn't work. So, I had to hire a hit man to take them out, and Gopher Champs was up for the job. I called and got an answer by Gary right away. He happened to be fairly near my neighborhood and was able to come out that afternoon. Before he came, he clearly explained pricing and then showed up when he said he would. Had a nice chat while he found activity/tunnels and set traps. He conveniently kept communication via text and came at a good time the following week and successfully got one. I live in a track home so they are likely all over neighbor yards too and I planted all my spring garden the following week. Sure enough, i saw new activity and contacted Gary who came back out right away to set new traps. He just left after coming back to retrieve another.
