Jeff Gordon visited our home to repair our washer. He opened it all up and said he "reset the panel". Worked for three washes and did not spin dry which is what the original issue was. Called his answering service on Sunday and asked for a return call. Nothing...Called 3 times on Monday. Nothing. Got a text at 6:34 on Tuesday that he would call after he voted. I texted him at noon that it must be a long line. Nothing. Paid 185.00 Run Do not walk from this low life. read more

Ice maker malfunction, Jeff Gordon visited, charged $54 for diagnostic visit, and ordered needed part. Jeff advised 2 day part delivery and repair. Now, 1 month later and after 15 calls, emails, voicemails requesting an update - not one return from Jeff. 1 month! I have no idea what issue may exist, but Jeff Gordon cashed my $54 check and I am left with no information or solution. Definitely cannot recommend Gordon Appliance Service for any repair service... Scheduled an appointment with this company and was quoted 38.95 service fee by the female answering the phone. Jeff called back to confirm appt. and get address of service. The day of the appt. he called and stated the service fee was 68.95 for living downtown. He stated it was for the extra work and the parking. I told him the parking was free and asked what extra work was involved. He couldn't answer my question. Dirty business practices!!! Stay away from this company. read more

While contemplating purchasing a new dryer due to our dryer running but not heating, it was recommended to simple get the heating element replaced. Gordon Appliance Service came through and saved the day sand $! Our dryer was fixed on an hours time and back to "drying" clothes with heat for a fraction of the cost to purchase a new dryer! Jeff Gordon has done a great job over the years including our refrigerator recently and a different problem two years ago when he also looked at our stove some time ago. Both times was reliable in showing up the next day with the required part and not only fixed the issue he recommended proactive changes to be done at same time so he would not have to return for a similar issue. I was impressed with his knowledge and I've seen posts where he'd had delays trying to order parts for others and they want something for nothing but my experience has only been honest and effective. He does use an answering service but seemed easy to reach for questions. A+ service! I'd have no hesitation in using him again. I have made 5 calls to request service over the last week and have not gotten any call back

Refrig repair in Feb. 2020. Came, fixed most of problem. Two weeks later, within 30 day parts/labor guarantee, called with request for minor fix (saw issue when here, fixed it BUT it happened again). Thus began message after message both with answering service that reads from a script and Gordon cell phone text and messages. NO CALL BACKs. When I did make contact, "I'll be there on ...", never came, NO phone call. This happened 2-3 times. Now June 2020, still trying to get this 10-15 minute job finished. My father in law called this guy to fix his ice maker in his refrigerator. He charged a service call fee, said he'd order the part and hasn't had any contact with my father in law since. My father in law even tried to contact him and still not a word back. I would NOT recommend this guy. read more

Similar to other review. They show up, charge for that, quote repairs, never come back. Never answer calls - every call answered by an answering service with a promise of a return call. Sent messages by text- no response. There should be a 0 star selection for this company, 1 star is 1 too many. read more

Made June 2019 appointment. Failed to show up on scheduled day. Contacted twice more, and showed up day 3. Claimed he knew the problem and told me the part and promised to call 5 days later. Haven't heard from him since. He got $45 for nothing read more

Horrible customer service! I don't know how the actual repair service is because after a no-show appt and 4 days of phone calls I have yet to even get a call back!! I called every day for 4 days after the appt was missed and my number would be taken and no one would return the call even though i expressed an urgent repair needed. Call someone else if you need the job done. Every call goes to an answering service saying I would get a call from a technician and never happens!! read more

Appt time had a quick turn around. Worker came out next day and assessed my problem..problem came after the problem was known, worker stated he had a hard time finding the right part to order so I would just need to pay him 41 for the service call and he would call me with the parts information once he found it. Service call happened on a Wednesday and as of today, almost a week later, I have still yet to receive a call back. This is very unprofessional and I had to end up calling another company to come out and fix my problem, which was able to be fixed in less than 30 minutes.
