Our help fell through on 7am Sunday morning and we knew we needed extra hands especially for the heavy stuff. Alex, hears us out, of course already booked with repeat clients and if you saw him/them move you would completely understand why. But he tells us if we can wait for him to finish his 2 moves, him and a friend will come help us out around 2 something. Ok. So we do what we can until they arrive. 2:30pm comes and to his word, Alex and Hugo show up. So Nice- and think about it- up early, 2 moves, end of July almost 100 degrees, with crazy humidity- and they were NICE! AND Showed up ready to get going! They wasted no time! Immediately they assessed the state of things with us, asked all the right questions and got right to work. I mean this when I say it, you get your money's worth & more! They can definitely charge more but I'm grateful they charged fair. They are quick, clean, skilled & professional as they worked together in such a fluid impressive way. They were PATIENT as I made requests and gave directions. They were kind, understanding, funny and compassionate. Easy to get ahold of and responsive. When I needed to know someone had our back, he answered texts in real time giving us the peace mind that we needed. We used Liberty Moving and Storage as part of our move with United Van Lines from NJ to AR. The…read moreproblem began when we were given the arrival date for our belongings. We were told that not everything fit onto the truck and that the overflow would be delivered at a later date. We were not given the option to delay the arrival of the majority of our things until everything could fit on the truck. We also were not given an ETA for the remainder of our things (including clothing, furniture, children's toys, bikes, school supplies, etc). I tried calling Liberty Moving and Storage at least 3-4 times a week for about 3.5 weeks before anyone could give me any type of information about when our things would arrive. There was not one single instance that anyone called me back when they said that they would. Every communication was initiated by me. I was told that there was no obligation from the moving company to compensate or reimburse for overflow delays. This is not how the contract is written or reads, but again, no one will return my phone calls. When our overflow items finally did arrive, 26 days after our initial delivery, numerous things were broken. This wasn't just fragile items. The boxes were crushed and torn. A metal chair leg was bent in half and expensive carpentry tools were broken. These were not items that could have been broken easily, but rather things that were clearly dropped, shoved, and mistreated. This move was nearly $11,000, plus the added fees of needing to purchase items that were delayed in delivery, plus the hours of time that I spent trying to understand when my items would be delivered, plus the costs of replacing what they broke. AVOID!

They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition. It took us about 2 hrs to settle in, and they once again unpacked most of the furnitures and reassembled them, making me feel settled in and relaxed. I cannot thank their team enough. They're all so polite, friendly and efficient. Within 1 day, I already feel 95% settled in. It's the easiest, stress-free moving experience I had in a while!

Before they even arrived, I got a tracking link to follow their location just like Uber, which immediately made me feel at ease. Crisanto and his crew showed up right on time and were incredible. They worked quickly but carefully, wrapping all of my furniture and somehow managing three giant mirrors without a single issue. Not one complaint and not one moment of stress. What really stood out was how above and beyond they went. They helped me figure out which part of my couch would actually fit in my space, laid out my rugs, and organized everything so I could still move around my studio comfortably. They scheduled a zoom/facetime walk-thru of my apartment to see what I needed and to give me a better quote. I had started packing already and got all my own boxes so it was easy to see what I had left. What I really liked was the 'no BS' hidden fees. It was one price that wouldn't change, no matter the hours or added last minute box. Of course my move was scheduled and it had to snow. Thankfully this didn't stop them. 4 guys showed up right on time (during a snow storm on a friday morning rush hour in the city). They walked thru and got a game plan, then brought up all the blankets and plastic wrap and got to work. TVs were dismounted and put in boxes, mattresses were put in boxes as well. The amount of blankets they used to wrap my furniture made me so happy. While they took their time, they were still hustling - running from the truck to the apartment. Once we got to my new place, they covered my stairs with runners and wore plastic booties to ensure my floors weren't messed up. I wish I had bought the wall mount for my TVs for my new place, because they offered to set me up. The only thing I was disappointed about was that my couch didn't fit thru the garage entry so it was left in the garage. I wish they had tried thru the front door but they were adamant that it still wouldn't fit. After 7 hours, I wasn't going to push them.
