All The Right Moves is the right choice for all things moving. Today I had the daunting task of helping a client relocate from a house to a 2 bedroom shared garden apartment. My agency does business with the company and suggested I request assistance with relocating the client's items and repacking her storage unit. From my initial phone call to schedule the service, Lucille was extremely helpful and faced me a quote right away. This morning I received a one call from one of the moving men, who I believe was Joel. He was punctual and confirmed the storage location. He pulled right into the storage facility and got to work with his partner. The young men were very professional and kind. Most of all, they were neat and organized! The storage unit had been previously packed by someone else and was a complete mess and hazard. There was no way we could accomplish what they did today on our own. They organized all the items first sectioned off by what was going and what was staying in storage. They used bins and crates on wheels to move some items. They begin at 10:00 and we were moved in by 12:00. I would definitely use this company again. Possibly soon for my own move. read more

Do not use this company. They damaged all of my furniture. They failed to deliver-either lost and/or stole-many smaller items of my personal property. Even though I was a senior, the owner charged me a premium. The packers spent more time wrapping household cleaning products than more important and expensive items. The movers rushed and were extremely careless with my possessions. The owner failed to take responsibility for the damages and denied having done anything wrong. He even demanded an almost 10% tip. He yelled at me and threatened to quit in the middle of my move. Unfortunately I will have to sue him to get any money back. I wish I had never hired him. read more

My wife and I moved from Long Island to Westchester and we had heard horror stories about companies who broke stuff, lost stuff and otherwise messed up. Not so with All The Right Moves. From the beginning of our planning Steve came to the house and provided us with enough information for us to feel comfortable having his company handle our move. He and his guys showed up on time and did a phenomenal job taking care to carefully pack our extensive artwork and a grandfathers clock. Additionally, our daughter who lives in the town we moved to was taking some of our furniture which meant loading the truck to drop off our stuff first and hers immediately after. I can not praise the work they did to make this an (almost) enjoyable experience. Moving 40 years of stuff from a big house into an apartment should not be a fun day. Used All Right Moves to get our family unpacked from our move from London to New Jersey. I have never enjoyed moving, but this team of amazing women made it so stressless. Recently used All the Right Moves for my move. They were suggested to me by Daniel Gale Realty. I interviewed five moving companies before choosing this company. My move would consist first moving my production design studio / Entertainment props which was in the finished basement of my home. The second move would be the main house furniture. Steve came to my house and not like any of the other companies who used digital devices to record every piece or hand written breakdowns, he took everything in while reviewing the house allowing me to guide him from room to room. Unlike the others, there was something more personal in his approach that was pleasantly unstructured. He suggested we move certain items and then some. I had already boxed up and labeled my items which was overwhelmingly quite a bit. He was very impressed. We agreed I would move the small items prior to both moves allowing the move to be more time efficient. He was also the first company to send me the estimate. The other four came in unrealistically higher. One came in with the exact amount but it was a final cost. No adjustments. I allowed a few days to go by before I chose this company. Was I concerned I made the right decision? Absolutely. The first move was done in less time estimated to which would be adjusted When the total move was completed . Steve and a crew of two men did the move in less time estimated. And they helped me set up the plastic shelving units to which I didn't expect. The second move three weeks later, there were four guys and two trucks. I actually had a lot of fun with this crew. Who has fun moving! Once again, they moved me and set up the house and basement in less time. I tipped each crew member on both date moves. On the second move, we stopped at Subway where I took the guys to lunch. They were very appreciative. There was some broken glass ( outside light bulb cover) and bookcases (Staples -Sauder furniture you build it ) that separated but they put them back together. The best part of he move besides having fun with the crew was that the cost of the move was adjusted in my favor saving me hundreds of dollars. Did I make the right decision, Absolutely. read more

Should be called all the wrong moves... Pros: showed up on time, worked hard and got us packed up quickly Cons: didn't secure all items properly, truck driver was speeding and passed me on the highway with all my belongings! During the move-in found that many items were damaged, floor in new house was badly scratched, treadmill was broken, window casing was damaged, etc, etc. When we filed a claim with them they argued that it wasn't their fault. They did cover some of the damages, but wasn't worth it in the end. read more

I was really dreading a home+office move that overlapped with a bunch of critical deadlines, but the phenomenal team at All the Right Moves made the entire process really easy. The five-person team moved the contents of a very crowded space in record time and helped set everything in place in my new space without wasting a second, and despite the steep incline of what I'd refer to as "the ramp of death" (commonly referred to by building staff as "the service entrance"). The key to success in this move was to start packing things up a few weeks in advance, wrapping fragile things very sturdily and using only sturdy moving boxes (small ones for heavy things, large ones for light things) so the work is easier for the team. Extremely unprofessional and substandard. After engaging this company, we soon realized the owner of was extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. He was difficult to deal with throughout. On one occasion he left me waiting... didn't show up for an appointment at the storage facility... didn't even have the professionalism to call me. Various possessions and furniture that were in good condition when placed in storage were found damaged upon Final move to my new home. Owner refuses to pay for full repairs on items, expecting me to split cost ... He Will not put through an insurance claim, insurance for which I paid, as he states, my choice was either insurance claim or repairman. We paid over $5000 for this move! read more

Do not use. This is a broker. I talked to John Riggs and told him I needed our things delivered by 7/28 or even a couple days after because I know things can happen and he said our things will be picked up between 7/18-7/21 and would be enough time to get across country. I was told I would get a two day notice of when the movers would come. A week before we had to move I called, left voicemails and emailed three days in a row not only John Riggs direct email and extension but the general phone number. Jake called me back and told me John was on medical, I do not know why they didn't have a call forwarding or email forwarding it's a few simple clicks. Jake told me he took care of what I needed. 7/20 I called Jake back and left a voicemail, again asking when the movers would be coming since I never got a phone call. Maddie who says she is the manager called me the same day the movers were showing up by FOUR hours. The third party showed up and we were very under quoted in cubic feet (not their fault) but we were charged a 40% mark up because this company cannot calculate correctly. We had a CRAZY JOB!! Pack an entire house and store it for 3 months. After the 3 months, they packed and moved an entire 2nd house and delivered that to our new home. The day after that, they packed up our stored items and delivered them to the new home. Curt was in charge of all 3 days, and he was THE BEST!!! His whole crew were wonderful. They were a pleasure to work with, and this was a terribly stressful job. Moving 2 houses into 1 new house, and having a 3 month gap is a lot to ask. Steve and Diana were amazing!!!! Any and every question was answered and they could not have gone above and beyond more than they did. Their quote was spot on and that was so helpful. The guys showed up on time, with great attitudes and made this the best possible situation. They were great with my kids, and animals and they were even extra attentive to my elderly in laws. I can not recommend All The Right Moves highly enough. We interviewed 4 companies and we made the best decision with this company. One small issue popped up, and it was fixed so quickly! Awesome moving company! I've used this company for three different moves over the course of 4-5 years and each time my experience has been fantastic. The movers themselves are respectful, professional, and great at their jobs. They are always efficient and consistently demonstrated a genuine concern for my furniture. Most recently, I asked the movers to carry a lot of heavy furniture up five flights of stairs in a NYC walk-up and not only did the guys show ZERO signs of frustration, but the guys completely embraced it and truly acted like they were happy to be there and help. I've used Kurt for all three of my moves and he is AMAZING. He's a true professional and, honestly, I don't know how I could ever do a move again without him. He's among the best in this industry. I will continue to request him for my jobs. I also have great things to say about Alvin, Carter, Gill, and Courtney. I've only used them once, but can also rave about their abilities. Absolutely terrible! The packers spent half the day playing football in the street. They ignored my clear instructions that that needed to dismantle a valuable antique because it was too large and fragile. Then they dropped it down the stairs and destroyed it. When I tried to file an insurance claim the manager tried to intimidate me into not filing. Beware! I have moved many times and they were the slowest, worst quality packers I have ever encountered. Not cheap either. Ended up being a lot more than quoted! read more

I highly recommend All the Right Moves. I got several estimates from various local and national companies to move my elderly mom from New York to Maryland. The president, Mr. Steven Bogdanos, personally came to my mom's apartment to estimate the work and expense. His company was less expensive and his crew was exceptional and great to work with - going above and beyond our expectations. We hired them to pack and move. Everything went without a hitch, on time. The crew moved boxes, furniture and then re-arranged when we changed our minds about placement. All with a great attitude. They also took boxes to a nearby storage unit. Soon after the crew left, I realized that a piece of outdoor brass art work was missing - it had been accidentally left, hanging outside my mom's apartment, on a brick wall. Steven went to pick it up and personally drove it to our house in Maryland. I am so grateful to him and his company for making a monumental move for my mom as stress-free as possible. read more
