Disappointed with my experience so far with the service department. My 2017 Chevrolet Volt was dropped off on May 24th. They have had my vehicle for a total 41 days. I've tried calling my service advisor Dean Page multiple times to get a detailed update, but he always seems to be on lunch or with a client. I've left Michael the service manager VMs to call me back with an update he never did. The only communication I've received was a brief voicemail from Dean stating they don't have the part to fix my car. No date. No courtesy loaner offered. You can tell they really don't care. My wife has been having to give me rides as this vehicle is my only means to get to work. Very inconvenient. I'm normally a pretty patient person, but after 30 days I was beginning to get irritated with the situation. My car is a 2017 under warranty. This shouldn't be happening. Imaging making payments on a loan and insurance on a car that you can't even use. I've reached out to Chevrolet on the matter let's see what happens from here. UPDATE: Few hours after posting this review I received a phone call from Martin who said he was the actual service manager. He politely explained the situation with the part being unavailable nationwide which was out of his control. He apologized on behalf of the store for the poor communication and said that he would go to bat for me after the holiday in trying to secure a rental while we are waiting for the part my car needs. SHADY DEALERSHIP!!! Buyer BEWARE! We bought a used GMC Terrain; the manager at what was Gosch Chevy LAST WEEK and is now Tim Moran not only RAN MY CREDIT TWICE, but didn't disclose that the company was being sold, didn't disclose that the vehicle had auto stop that would leave me- a disabled 81 year old, IN A CAR IN THE DESERT - WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING when my daughter (also my driver) ran into the store. Luckily my iPhone was fully charged and I was able to text her and let her know. We originally wanted the 2020 Terrain that was listed on the website for $20,000. We were ready to purchase it, and when the manager "ran the numbers," he comes back with "$30,000 out the door." How the hell do you list a car for $20K and then tag on $10k for "features." So we said we will take the 2019 Terrain for $14k and change; now the manager tries to get $20K out of us. He is the epitome of a scumbag used car salesman. We also made it a point to mention more than once that we needed the car FOR OUR DOGS; again there was no disclosure of the auto stop feature that is a lawsuit waiting to happen. WHY run my credit TWICE when I was making a cash deal? That's unnecessary when I had a check in hand with proof that the funds were available. Running it once I understand but why TWICE?!?!?! The Apple CarPlay works intermittently, despite using Apple brand USB cords. This is unacceptable to my daughter, who is a former Apple Tech. We were assured over the phone that they'd take our 2012 Xterra as a trade in, promising the KBB value. We told them it needed to be detailed and that it needs new catalytic converters on it, and again we were assured that "they'll detail it anyway, we are a small town dealer and want your business and your trade in." WRONG!!! Denied! In every sense of the word this company employs shyster who have no credibility and no pride or comprehension of being men of their word. Austin assured us not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES that he would call us with a quote for a hitch installation, and we of course, shockingly haven't heard from him in a week, despite his repeated empty promises and handshake on it. We were then ASSURED by Phillip Meneses SEVERAL TIMES that HE would get us the quote we waited a week for from Austin, who offered nothing but BS excuses, and of course we still haven't been given the quote. I recently purchased a vehicle from Gosch Chevrolet and the experience was mostly good. Brian, my salesperson, provided outstanding service, patiently answering all my queries and ensuring a smooth, buying process. I was also shown how to put up a favorable review and shown how to generate an AI written narrative to post. For the sake of honesty, I had to amend it. After Chady brought out an offer sheet showing a final price of $41,000 on a $26,500 car, my jaw dropped. I was expecting just under $30,000 after tax and license. Chady had added on all kind of extended warranties, etc., without asking if I wanted them. Frustrating. Eventually the general manager came out to finalize the deal and quell some concerns I had over the final price with the unwanted add ons, the most deceptive of which was a $1400 "Theft patrol" subscription add on that I didn't know was installed on the car and didn't ask for or want to pay for. Apparently they put it on every car. I was told by Chady that they couldn't remove it, even though it was a DEALER INSTALLED option... (?) It seems to me that if the dealer installed it, then they can remove it. It seemed extra ridiculous when, at the end of the process, they hard sell you on the subscription OnStar, which also offers stolen vehicle tracking. Do I really need TWO subscription services to monitor stolen vehicle tracking? Truthfully, that device and the associated tussle was the only hang up on an otherwise smooth process. Chady made it a very uncomfortable fight over that device, and I nearly walked out on the process because of it. read more

Unfortunately bad experience with Dean and service in general. I took my 2023 Colorado in for an oil change but primarily for all the software and mechanical issues I've encountered. Airbag light, traction control light, adaptive cruise inop, and few other items. I even asked to please clean the truck as it rained and it was a bit dirty. They wanted the truck for 1 day and had it for 2.5 days. When I picked it up, only oil change was done and all warning lights and issues are still present. They didn't properly wash it nor did they attempt to vacuum. I've attempted to contact Dean several times and the service manager (via email) and even the online chat representative for someone to please respond and correct these issues. Not a single reply. I'm not being unreasonable I just want the things I took it in for to be looked at and fixed. It's a brand new truck. read more

My 79 year old mom took her car in at 8:27 a.m. for an oil change. She was told 3 hours, and they don't offer rides so I said I would pick her up so she didn't have to sit in the lobby for 3 hours. I have been purchasing brand new vehicles from the GOScH auto group every 2-3 years for that last couple of decades. My most recent purchase was a new 2022 Diesel Chevy Silverado RST. That purchase in July went well. I also get all of my vehicles serviced at GOScH because they are supposed to be high end quality service and certified from the auto companies that they represent. One of the main reasons I purchase and get service done with GOScH is because I believe it is important to keep business local and to invest in the community I live in. 3 weeks ago some issues started happening with my husband's 2022 Silverado. We had the truck towed to GOScH and after they ran their diagnostics they told us it would cost between $1800 - $2000 to fix the truck. We approved the single option for repairs and upon "completion" of the job we paid for the work and drove the truck home. The next morning on his way to work, my husband's "repaired" truck stopped working again. We had the truck towed back to the dealership and the service manager Martin Granado said it was the same issue and that they would have the truck fixed and running within a couple days. Now they are saying it will cost an additional $10,000 - $15,000 to fix the issue. I will NEVER conduct any business with GOScH again. Martin Granado and Israel Mora have lost some loyal customers today, not only for Chevy GOScH but for all of the GOScH companies. read more

He's been taking care of my services for some years now. Moved to the area and tried different shops to keep going back but they were all too pricey for the kind of service they were giving me. Found this shop and I'm still going back after the steep bills and old truck. But they still keep it going even after 400k miles and overloaded box . I had been approached by a few other sales guys who treated me like crap, and like I was just wasting time. We spent some time working on a deal on a Chevy SUV with this dealership. Their Internet sales team was quite responsive, so we felt okay making a deal with a dealership a distance away. We told them we wanted a transparent and haggle free shopping experience if they wanted to earn our business. We struck a deal and handled 95% of paperwork electronically remotely. We have small children and don't have time to sit for hours haggling or filling out forms. We agreed to sign final documents in the morning and drive 1 1/2 hours away to the dealer with our little girls to surprise them and pickup our new car. EVERYTHING was approved Friday night. We drove in early on Saturday and after sitting down to sign final papers, one of the dealerships managers broke the deal stating that the numbers were wrong!!!! There is NO WAY the numbers were wrong. We had printouts that their sales team had given us with the agreed upon price. Those numbers are always approved by head managers. We were paying MSRP for the car so there was NO ERROR. We know it was greed & inconsiderate behaviors from the managers that cancelled our deal. They wanted to make more money on the vehicle despite having agreed to our offer. We also declined the extended warranty and the Gap insurance- another way that a dealership makes a profit. That didn't sit well either, but we had previously mentioned we weren't interested in it. So we drove 1 1/2 hours back home with our little ones crying (they went from super surprised to confused, to tears in less than 30 minutes being there). DISGUSTED with this dealership. GREED & NON-TRANSPARENCY will never earn you more business. I will be writing to GM Chevrolet Corporation as well about the unacceptable business practice we experienced at GOSCH CHEVY in Hemet.
