For the love of Jesus - just don't!…read more Boston to NY on this bus line felt less like public transportation and more like a survival challenge. First, the original bus broke down before we even left. Cool, things happen. But the "replacement" bus that showed up looked like it had been dragged out of a junkyard and sprayed with Eau de Mold. It smelled like sadness, rode like a rollercoaster built by drunk engineers, and was so filthy I started questioning whether my tetanus shot was up to date. We arrived 1.5 hours late, which honestly felt like the ultimate wellness challenge -- every extra minute on that bus was another year shaved off my immune system. By the time we got to NY, I was half-expecting to find CDC workers in hazmat suits waiting at the terminal. Oh, and when unloading bags, mine got tossed around like it was competing in the shot put. Customer service told me "too bad, you didn't buy a refundable ticket." As if "refundable" is code for "the bus won't be a rolling biohazard, tardiness, and bum bruises from the bumpy ride!!" Zero out of five stars. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy, but maybe to someone I secretly hate

The Concord Coach Lines bus was ticketed in conjunction with the Amtrak train so the timing was perfect. God, I hate driving in traffic, and it was just so nice to sit back and relax during the 2 hour drive. Wifi was OK on the way up, not so much on the way down. Glad I brought a jacket as the AC was on full blast. They showed a movie each way, so bring headphones if you want to watch year old movies on the small TV screen above.

They cut and paste the same message over and over . No acknowledgment of any issues and no recognition of any customer suggestions. Public transportation at less then half of this bus service and a much better experience, then this horrific company . They advertise free wifi and plug ins. FALSE . Half of the seats don't recline. Broken . Please DONT waste your time with this company . I recommend Flixbus , Peter Pan or greyhound .

As we get to it, I turn to my brother and jokingly say "watch us get there and it be an old PeterPan bus with a sticker on it". We laughed, knowing that MegaBus has two floor buses which we have come to love and expect. We were excited to do some work on this five hour ride, and eagerly approached the new Megabus parked at the end of the lot. As we walked towards it an employee looked at us, and with a big smile said "You'll be taking this one today" she said, while motioning towards an old decrepit looking bus parked next to the MegaBus. My heart sank. As I walked in, the seats were all ripped and people were crammed together like no tomorrow. Little girls were crying because they were separated from their families. The seats smelled horrible and it was not at all what we were expecting. We even booked Megabus over other companies, while there were cheaper options, solely because they have nicer busses. We should have known better. What a disgrace. Can't trust this company.

I'm 19 years old and was traveling alone from Philly to Hyannis, and I'm still not very confident with traveling on my own. What really made this experience so good was the driver. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and kind, but the driver especially stood out. He was a bald man with glasses and a big beard, and he was genuinely one of the sweetest and most caring people I've met while traveling. He was patient with everyone, calm, respectful, and made sure people were okay throughout the ride. That kind of hospitality is honestly hard to find nowadays. Usually traveling stresses me out a lot, but for the first time I actually felt relaxed and comfortable during the trip. He made the whole experience feel safe and easy, and I'm really thankful for that. So thank you again to him and the company for such a great experience.

Moving…read moreto a new apartment off of Comm Ave in September, I thought, hey, I'll save a little money by taking the B line to work every day. Probably one of the stupidest things I've ever done. This bus gets me from its first stop to Federal Street in under a half an hour, without the hassle of stopping at too many red lights, dealing with BU kids who have a state of the art fitness center yet can't be bothered to walk 100 extra feet to get to class, and people who smell like they haven't showered since the Reagan 80's. I have an extra half an hour in the morning to relax, an extra half an hour at night, and all for $30 a month extra. Well worth it. If you live within a mile of one of these express buses and you have to go downtown in the morning - this is the only way to travel. Pay the extra $30 - it will immediately improve the quality of your commute, and the quality of your life, and I stand by that statement.

I'm livid rn so I'll keep it short until I can call but I rec'd email 11:27pm last night that my…read more1:15 direct to NJ was cancelled so I panicked and rearranged my whole itinerary for getting to South Station (incl. skipping breakfast) but just to have opportunity to still get to NJ via an 8:55 (supposedly DIRECT) ride I booked an Uber for $39 ($44 w/tip) and then had to wake up my Son super early (priceless lol) and luckily the 8:55 still had 2 seats available so I booked that. Upon arrival at South Station bus driver informs me that there will be 2 stops so it's NOT DIRECT and so I started researching other options and found out my 1:15 that was cancelled was NOW SHOWING AVAILABLE. WTF!!!! but we're here so we get on the 8:55 only to be told we don't have assigned seats so after 3 attempts of sitting and being moved the driver nicely accommodated us up front because he noticed my frustration. Nevertheless, I hope we make it safely to NY on this run down bus with tattered seats, missing toilet seat and barely working heat. I don't know what I expect from you guys but at the very least a reimbursement for the Uber would be nice and compensation for the loss of sleep if possible. This experience deserves some news air time though because I expected better from you Greyhound. Maybe I'll call my reporter friend at WHDH ‍ but rn I just pray this rattling bus gets us to NJ in one piece. That was only the ride there.
