Only left one star because I was forced to in order to post this review. ZERO STARS!!!!!! To Whom it May Concern, Choosing to do business with this company has been the worst decision I have ever made. I should have sent the product back to them and gotten every single penny back when I realized that every aspect of the way they did business from day 1 was incredibly flawed and completely dishonest. Not only was I left in the dark about my order for MONTHS, but the product failed. I tried several times in the beginning to contact anyone from this business that I possibly could to confirm my warranty and get additional information about the product I purchased - but was ignored and once again, left in the dark like I literally did not exist. They do not honor any warranty! Sold me an engine that they claimed had 84k on it. Took two months to receive the engine. Once I received it, looked like it had been sitting out in the field for 10 years due to the rust/carbon/water build up inside the block. Went back to the web site and they were selling the same motor with the exact same mileage. Tried to return the motor they refused to answer my phone calls. Was hung up on three times. got engines.com deserves no stars (negative stars) this is a shady company run by thieves. they advertise they have your engine (even give you a "warranty" on it). you pay them in full and wait, wait and wait. when you finally get someone after multiple phone calls, they tell you they do not have your engine. you request the order be cancelled. they issue a refund less 25%. in my case, that was $872.... and for what? for wasting my time? they stole my money by stating it was a "cancellation fee" on an engine they never had to begin with! buyer beware, don't even think about it, because there is no "maybe it will be different" as in my case. and now i a wasting my time again as i am compelled to warn other potential buyers about this sham of a company read more

The engines are no good, you cannot get thru to anyone with problems, and the warranty would be more useful if it was written on toilet paper. You sit on hold for HOURS, and when you do get someone on the line, they are most unhelpful. Then they will hang up on you. read more

Gotengines.com is the worst place to buy from I bought a used engine from them and had to replace Manu of the parts before it could even be installed....i activated the warranty on my engine and when the engine failed they refused to honor the warranty...i had to call numerous times just to get someone to answer the phone and when someone finally did I was told I would recive an email which I never got i had to continue to call over and over to get an answer meanwhile my car is in a shop.....these people are the worst and I would never reoccomand this place to worst enemy DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY read more

Ordered engine from GotEngines.com. transaction went well. When I received engine, it was missing important components such as u-pipe and air filter box. The oil pan was also damaged. When I contacted company on issues, was given no help and had to find parts on my own. Parts were near impossible to find Wich made it impossible to do in their time frame of 10 days. As soon as we gathered all parts, we installed engine. After install and check of proper fluid levels, verification of oil pressure, vehicle was started and test driven. Made it approximately one mile when ticking/ knocking noise began and a rod popped through side of oil pan (that I had to buy separate due to damage on one supplied). It was either #7 or #8. Not only out $3,680.00 on engine but out $120.00 oil pan, $62.00 fuel filter and $78.00 in oil. Not to mention $800.00 in labor. Contacted company to try and get engine replacement. They refused because of time it took to do job, even though explained why. After second attempt of contact they stopped all communication. read more

Called to inquire about an engine, the lady said she would give me a deal on the engine if I gave her my card number right then, however, In order for her to charge my credit card, I would need to sign the form she would be sending me via email, as well as provide an address to send the engine to. I found a complete engine in the meantime, and called back to let them know I did not need the incomplete engine they had, and asked them not to charge my card. I also replied to the email they sent, asking me to sign to charge my card, letting them know I no longer need the incomplete engine. I received a email every single day, asking for a signature and an address, and every single day, I replied, I no longer needed their services. 3 days later, they charged my card. I contacted them and asked them to refund my card. 3 Days after that they said they would refund my card, they did not. I continued to call them, asking them to refund my card, and they would hang up on me. Thursday, 10-15-2020, after several attempts to talk to the refund department, and being hung up on, I contacted a sales agent, inquiring about another engine, in hopes I could get someone to not hang up on me, after I spoke with salesman about the phantom engine, I asked the man to send me to his refund department, at that time he began to yell at me, and tell me that I wasted his time, he didn't have time for people like me who wanted to play little games, and the next time I call I should get straight to the point. I explained to him, that I would have liked to, however, his company has taken my money, scammed me and other people, hung up on me several times, and are not a legitimate company or they wouldn't dodge refunding money that isn't theirs. I have contacted the police in their area, I have contacted the BBB, I have contacted the consumer protection agency and I am not quite done yet. Be ware of this company! Worst company in America!! Do not believe their warrenty! I bought a engine from them with a 3 yr/ 100,000 PARTS AND LABOR INCLUDED warrenty. After install and driving 3,000 miles the engine broke. They then blamed me stating I couldn't have installed it correctly (engine was installed by the dealership) It has been over a year and we are stil waiting for them to pay for repairs. This company makes it very hard to either exchange or get credit from. After my son purchased an engine it was professionally installed and was knocking. I stepped in and contacted gotengines. They wanted all kinds of receipts, which we provided, then they basically said since the were hand written and not computerized, they where unacceptable. 1,600. just gone. After over 3 weeks and several phone calls they have not found the time to credit my card back for the amount they charged. I am now in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card company, which is a big pain. I called to get a quote from these guys and they where the rudest sales representatives I've ever dealt with in my life. the guy says he only has remanufactured engines available when he tells me the price i in a calm manner state that it would probably be cheaper to have the engine rebuilt. instead of trying to sell me the engine explain warranty and or look for an alternative he immediately made this comment "go ahead rebuild it nobody F-ing (explicit) cares" and hangs up the phone.
