AutoZone - Great Service & Super Convenient Location Stopped by AutoZone to pick up a replacement battery for my truck and the service was excellent from start to finish. I didn't bring my old battery with me since I planned to drop it off later, but the rep let me know they'll actually give you $22 when you bring in your old one to any AutoZone. Had no idea nice bonus! The location of this AutoZone is also a major win. The entire shopping center has everything you could need: get a haircut, grab groceries at Winn-Dixie, pick up lunch at one of the restaurants... honestly, you could plan a whole mini-day just around grabbing a part for your car or truck. Definitely would not recommend coming if you are a woman alone. I went in to see what the issue was with my car it was slowly starting and I new the issue was most likely my battery I walk in asking to see if they still do free checks on batteries, they check and it's my battery! We go back inside to see if it's under warranty for some reason my number or name didn't pop up at all. Visibly frustrated Aaron asks me if my dad was there ? nope. Then asks if my boyfriend is there to help with a warranty issue that is because of their system ? Nope not there either. They change my battery I had a cover on my battery they didn't want to put back on because "i didn't need it" Definitely wanted it on but Aaron didn't want to unhook anything again. While I'm paying they enter my number in the system and it pops up. Just not to show warranty. I went in knowing the issue but wanting to be sure just in case, but my dad or boyfriend who didn't walk in needed to be asked about MY warranty. I always go to auto zone to get heet to add some fuel injector to the gas tank. They do so much more. They will check your battery. The sales person are always present. Unfortunately, I do not shop for anything else but I always go to get Heet though. This store is not by my house in St Johns but conveniently located in Mandarin. This is yet another AutoZone review. I went to this place to return my old battery. The person taking my battery gave me a puzzled look. I asked if I was able to return my old battery. The person gave me the look of complete insecurity and finally answered, "Ahhhh. I think you can.". Great. He hesitatingly took my battery. Then he looked up again. I said, "So, I think I'll get a refund on the recycling.". Same reaction. Complete insecurity. "Ohhh. Ahhh. I think we can do that.". Yeah. I know you can do that because that's what your website says. He eventually processed my request. I didn't make a deal out if it, but that combined with my prior review regarding a cabin filter really makes me wonder -- do you actually know what you're going? I've been to many AutoZone stores in other states before. Here, you're the worst so far. read more

Patrick from store 3820 was the perfect help and assistance i needed he was friendly as can be I mean honestly said hi to me the second I walked in asked me what I needed and found exactly what I needed and willingly came out with me to my car and helped me to the full extent of my needed this was incredible helpful because I am disabled and sadly can't do most of the work my self so having Patrick was a blessing from god him self And once we were done installing my battery he thanked me for coming in and wished me a great day but I couldn't stop being thankful for him associate of the autozone company like Patrick are why I Always choose to come to autozone over any of there competitors. This is a first for me, to leave a review without even going to the establishment. However, the service I was provided by one of the staff from this establishment was beyond the call of duty. Victor was on his way home from work, grabbed dinner and saw me broke down in the turning lane in route home. Never met Victor previously but I am thankful I met him today! My battery died and I called my husband to come jump me. Victor saw me and checked on me to make sure I was ok and had someone coming to help. He stayed and checked my car to see how he could help turn it over or at least get it in neutral to move it out of traffic. He stayed till my husband arrived and then the two of them tried to get it turned over or in Neutral. When nothing worked, Victor drove home to get him jump box and then drove back to us!!! He attempted to use it to jump my car but it was too dead and his box wasn't charged enough. Next Victor got his own car and pulled in front of my car in the turning lane (traffic and all) and tried to jump it with the cables I had. After trying for several minutes it finally turned over but the VICTORy was short lived because my battery was just shot and wouldn't stay charged. Next step was to call a tow truck. Victor continued to stay with us and I had to drive home to get cash to pay the tow truck driver. Victor then drove my husband to Pep Boys so I could just drive straight to Pep Boys with the cash to pay the tow truck driver. After I arrived at Pep Boys, Victor wished us well and left to eat his cold dinner that had been sitting in his car for almost two hours!!! Victor was patient, polite, informative and extremely helpful in the chaotic time. His kindness was exactly what I needed and his information and helpfulness really made an impact in this event and I will be a loyal customer to whatever establishment Victor is or will be employed in! Out of nowhere my battery decided to die out. Thankfully among friends, I was able to get a jump to get me over to this place. My friend told me that they had a way to attach a monitor to tell me if I needed a new battery or if I had deeper problems. Within minutes not only was the problem diagnosed, but a new one was popped in and purchased in less time than it took me to unsuccessfully try to find my receipt for my battery which was within warranty. I did pay a little more for this battery than I would have paid at Walmart, but if you consider the rigamarole I would have had to endure to take this back to Walmart, my family and I would have never been hearing to dinner right now. We would have starved. The gift that keeps giving is that I won't have to keep my receipt for the next 5 years which I always manage to lose. They have record of it here with just my name and phone number. What a relief. On top of that, Zach, who took me through this with ease didn't just sell me a battery, he did me a service that didn't require my hands to get dirty, and every now and then he checked in with me to make sure I was ok (as I must have had a starry eyed look as I was trying to rearrange my budget for this new purchase). He is God's gift to women over there, ladies, and it's not because he's handsome, he was very warm and eager to help make life easy on me. Crisis averted. My battery died this morning as I was attempting to begin my commute to work. I was able to get a jump from someone in my complex and drove to this location for a new battery replacement. The gentleman who assisted me , Howard B, was gracious and expedient with his service. The manager, Michael was pleasant also. Informed me about the battery and what I needed and then took the time to install it even though it ended up being a pain in the bum. During my visit to Autozone Connor went above and beyond to help me with my battery. He showed me how to recognize when my terminals are bad and only sold me what I needed. He was kind and very professional providing guidance on how to replace my own terminals and the tools needed to do so. And when I ran into complications he provided further guidance for it to be completed. He also replaced the battery in my car after the terminal needing repairs was done.
