We also got thai basil chicken wings and clearly they use the same batter for everything as I had a piece of shrimp fried into the batter. This grossed my fiance out and he didn't eat anymore after my shrimp discovery. I still ate them and they were okay and i liked the flavor but under the fried batter the chicken skin was gooey. The only thing saving this review was the service as our waitress was very kind and attentive and the thai tea which was a decent size and not too sweet like most other places. They may have other good dishes but stay away from the chicken & pork belly pho and chicken wings.

However the food redeemed that strange welcome, maybe a cultural thing. Ambiance is clean but the next door Midas background is the not most appealing, however this isn't very important if all you need is a comforting soup. No corporate franchise. Just a local couple who own it. I'd rather support local business. You order at the window and there are plenty of options for flavors. They even had a special flavor that they seem to rotate which is cool. We shared a pizza and they were able to make it half of what he wanted and half of what I wanted. The pizza was actually very tasty and it didn't leave me feeling yucky like some of those other major pizza places do with all that grease. I enjoyed looking at the walls that had newspaper clippings and stories of the owners humble beginnings and history with the pizza shop. Would definitely recommend and be back for sure!
