Beautiful layout. Wonderful group classes and personal instruction is always available…read more The equipment is well maintained and they have an awesome collection of free weights, machine assisted weight machines, and the track that circles the main floor for walking and running. The staff is very welcoming and it is a comfortable place to workout no matter what time of the day you decide to workout. I think the monthly fee is very fair for the amount of equipment, classes, and personalized services it offers.

Attention all Fitness Fanatics! Have you checked out Onelife's New Recovery Rooms? If you haven't,…read moreI promise you, you are in for a treat!. I had the pleasure of trying out the Recovery Room located in Chesapeake Square in Suffolk, VA, hafter a Brutal Leg Day and let me tell you that my experience truly felt Spa Like! !!! This Recovery Room is not only is spacious but felt like an oasis to truly recovery after giving it your all in the gym. The HydroMassageChairs were so RELAXING ! A easy to use touch screen panel allowed me to adjust the pressure of my massage and target the areas of my back that I needed to focus on. I also used the Compression Sleeve Pants.. These bad boys came ALL the way up to my THIGHS! The gently compress my feet, and legs to help improve circulation and reduce muscle soreness and improve faster muscle recovery ‍. These compression sleeves are a total game changer as far as my fitness goals go. Incorporating this recovery treatment into my weekly workout routine will allow me to recover faster and achieve my goals quicker! I am looking forward to seeing how incorporating the recovery room into my workout regimen will help me see my results a lot faster. I came back on a separate day to try out the Red Light Therapy which is supposed to have so many benefits including cellular repair, help with pain, inflammation, some say it aids in toning the skin and even with Weightloss... so hey why not... ‍. It was my very first time having a Red light therapy session. I didn't know what to expect. It was a bit warm but not overwhelming. I did make sure to have water and kept hydrated. Keeping clothes on or fully exposing your skin to the red lights was completely optional. I personally felt like it was a very pleasant experience and felt energized after my session. I will definitely be doing it again! All for an additional $10 a month... sounds like a steal to me.. Can't wait to check out the other features of the Recovery Room like the Res Light Therapy...

We've been going to this Y for many years and it seems very summer the situation with the outdoor…read morepool gets worse. Today is June 11 and it is STILL not open during the day. When we ask we get various answers, but the most frustrating ones are "we don't have enough lifeguards", "the public schools aren't out yet", and (my personal favorite) "I don't really know." The idea that the public schools are the reason not to have the outdoor pool open yet is ridiculous. This happened last year too. Do you know how many kids are homeschooled or are already out for the summer? LOADS. Add to that, we pay a membership to the facility too and if the weather is nice, and you're advertising that it's open, then you need to keep it open where everyone gets a chance to use it. If an adult wants to use the outdoor pool while the kids are in school, they should be able to. I shouldn't have to drive to the next town over to use their Y because mine doesn't seem to have it together. The other issue here is the lack of continuity in the management of the facility itself. Half the time you can't get a straight answer about anything, and you definitely won't get any direction about who DOES know. They point the finger at someone else hoping you'll just go away. It's issues like this that keep people from wanting to join community centers like the Y, that used to be the cornerstone of our communities. Get it together, guys.

I never wrote a review just because it's where i have been coming for a few years now. after today, I felt the need to write one. A young adult comes in and seems like he's about to get ready to start lifting, and he only has socks on ( not sure if it's a rule) which I've seen countless people do not only at this gym but others too. A worker came in and told him he couldn't have his shoes off and I'm assuming that he needed to leave because he left and did not come back. she comes back minutes later and just scans the room judging everyone looking for someone doing something wrong and finds nothing. She comes back only this time to get mad at a dad who was alone with two young children who were both well-behaved and quiet. The woman told the boy he needed to get off the treadmill and could not be in the private workout area in his shoes. She then tells the father that the child cannot be here unless he's practically attached to his father's hip for the rest of his work out.(I'm fully aware that young children are not allowed on equipment) but he was harmless and I'm sure the dad was stressed out having to bring them in the first place. I get where she was coming from but there were 100 ways she could've been better about it. If you can ignore the cocky workers then I definitely recommend this place. The gym is clean well kept and also has fairly new equipment. However I don't think it's the place if you're looking for very detailed machines. *** they are not all bad, just a few that don't know their place. *** it's an extra $10 to bring a guest, but you can only bring a guest 3 times a YEAR, also this gym is not 24hrs and charges five dollars to come in after closing time.

They (the GM) said it was not noted in my account that I was told the doctor's note would carry me through the new month nor that I needed a new doctor's note. I did not document to whom I spoke. So so so glad you guys are here and welcome to the neighborhood. The studio is brand new in a brand new shopping center. The studio itself isn't too spacious, however, with only one workout space and small check in section and storage area. So there may be some congregating before and after class but it'll thin out as the studio settles down. There's also active construction going on in the other retail spaces, which generally is drowned out by the music. If you're brand new like me, definitely take the intro class. I didn't even know how to lay down nor grab the straps before class but able to follow along the reformer flow class and felt confident to try flow 1.5 and cardio sculpt by the second week!

At Matchbout you can get one on one training sessions to work on your specific goals, 24 access to the facility with keyless entry. There are are boot camp style workouts, step aerobic classes and more! Free parking is available and I love that I can include my son in my fitness regimen. He too can train and get a workout in while building up self confidence, self discipline and learning about health & wellness Overall I highly recommend this sports training facility. Many athletes come here to train and prepare for their semi professional and professional fights. Some come to spar or simply keep in shape I come to keep in shape and one on one training sessions because I love fitness and live a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy smaller boot camp style classes and not going to a large gym. Smaller gyms feel more like home to me vs bigger gyms you can get overwhelmed with all the machines and feel lost in the sauce, if you know what I mean. Lol If you want to try something new and shake up your old workout routine or simply want to join me for a workout I extend an invite. It's lots of fun.
