Otherwise, this is where I store my cookbooks. They offered me an outsourced furniture service to 'fix' the issue AT MY COST. The fact that they won't listen to me, or admit this is a faulty piece of furniture, and help me replace it is mind-boggling. For over $700 and Less than a YEAR in my home, NOT EXPOSED CONSTANTLY to WET SHOES makes ZERO sense why this is happening. And instead of being of assistance to keep me as a customer who has spent over $3.5k at this store, it is just sad and VERY BAD service. No doorbell ring, no nothing. This thing was impossible to move without assistance. So they're still a terrible company with questionable quality pieces, but now their service sucks also.

He from the beginning was impatient in answering our questions about items and was showing attitude for no good reason. We had a terrible experience in their store when we tried to order goods worth more than $3000. He made a mistake in the order. When we asked him to cancel, rather than cancelling the order, he made a duplicate order without notifying us. Our card was charged twice without our approval for the duplicate order. He, after making the duplicate order, told us that we should come back and return the duplicate item when it arrives to get back our money. We were surprised that our card was charged twice without our approval although we were standing in front of him when he was putting in the order. We asked him to cancel both orders as we did not want to come back to return the duplicate item. At that point he became even more rude and was extremely unhelpful. He said the store manager was not around to resolve this dispute, although it seemed he was the store manager. He didn't seem to care that he lost a customer who was ready to buy goods above $3000. This staff should be held responsible for not only losing a customer forever for Rejuvenation and ruining William Sonoma's reputation but also because he was non-transparent to the customer and charged their card for a duplicate item without their approval. Be very very careful when you order anything in the Rejuvenation store and double check what they are charging on your card. We still haven't got back our refund that was charged on our card without our consent.

We always stop in the Williams Sonoma Store and this Home Store. The furniture is beautiful. They have bedding and bathroom merchandise in addition to lots of nick-knacks. This early December, I ordered a sofa and the sales woman assured me that if something was wrong with the item, she will send it back to the manufacturer and issue me a store credit. After waiting 4 weeks, the sofa arrived and was completely defective and unusable. The delivery men left screws on the floor and a washer fell out of the back. They left my place quickly because I am sure they knew the sofa was defective. After feeling the fabric and cushions, I knew right away I was scammed. The sofa was hard as a rock, literally. The cushion stuffing sounds like cardboard inside. The fabric and stitching is cheap and extremely low quality. I called the sales woman the very next minute and she told me to wait two days for her to call back. She left a voice mail stating that she will not take the sofa back and no return or store credit will be given. Completely shocked, I asked her why she would lie to me and she hung up on me. I tried calling the main company phone number on the internet and they told me that they could not do anything and I have to go back to the store to figure it out. This sales woman called back with a vindictive attitude and loud tone. I just told her calmly that if I have to, I will pursue a lawsuit for this insensitive scheme. I feel completely scammed out of a lot of money I saved up for a sofa after losing all my furniture during Hurricane Sandy. This is a terrible and dishonest thing to do to someone struggling and working hard to get back on their feet. read more

I went to into Gothic Cabinet with an idea for a custom made desk / media center. Their salesman Tony Stakis helped me to visualize it with a quick sketch and made great suggestions on what dimensions and materials would work - he had clearly been in the business for a while and had personal experience with A/V equipment. Tony and I went back and forth over the next few weeks on official spec and made modifications each time I requested them. I found Gothic's price to be fair and reasonable after shopping my plans to other cabinet makers in the city. My desk arrived earlier than had been promised - Tony even invited me out to their Queens factory to check it out while it was in progress. Gothic's deliverymen Paulo and Herman were super professional in assembling it, drilling grommets, setting up my monitor arm, and even mounting my TV. A few weeks later I asked Tony for slight modifications and he sent the two back without charge to install cabinet fans and extend a tray - it was great to know that Gothic stood by their product. I've very happy with my purchase. The maple desk with wild cherry finish and black polylaminate top looks great in my living room. When not in use, my turntable disappears behind a drop down pull out tray and my TV is lowered into the desk by hydraulic lift. Not a single wire, cable or power cord is visible from the front. I'm not sure when I'll be needing high end custom furniture again, but when I do Gothic will be my first choice. read more

Tony at Gothic provided excellent service for my living room built-in bookshelf project. After taking three estimates from recommended contractors, I went with Gothic for their full- service package including design, build and instillation all for one reasonable price. I've owned a dresser from Gothic for over ten years and knew the quality of work was very high, but the built-in bookshelf unit was really a beautiful piece of millwork. The instillation team was very professional, careful and meticulous. Clean, careful instillation is very important part of the service! Tony went above and beyond to create a piece that has everything I wanted and excellently fits the aesthetic of my pre-war apartment. The EA staff informed us that the protection program we purchased does not include wood only when we noticed wearing months after purchase. The only solution given was a furniture marker to continue to use several times a year as the white seams begin to show to cover up the flaws. As I continue to color my furniture several times a year, I am more frustrated that we trusted your company. This is not quality or service.

He was also incredibly detailed in marking sure he had everything he needed from me. I sent him some picture with a dresser blocking a power outlet I had forgotten about, and he knew to make sure to ask me if there was such an outlet behind it. He also responded within 24 hours. The Unit was shipped on time, and handed off to a great freight service. Usually the last mile is a problem for some furniture services because of the service the company chooses. I can tell Vitsoe makes sure every part of their customer lifecycle is taken cart of. The unit itself is beautiful. I remember first seeing it in the Dieter Rams SFMOMA exhibit years ago, and have wanted it ever since. It's well constructed and timeless, though I imagine if you're considering buying it you already know what you're getting.
