It was a small cozy Filipino restaurant- crew and staff are very welcoming and happy to help and serve. Food was delicious and portioned well. Even their water had some mint and cucumber on it. Please bring cash though, that's how you tip them.

I ordered Goto at Silog on Uber Eats because I was craving Filipino food so badly, but it definitely did not hit. The garlic fried rice wasn't flavorful, and it was also missing a lot of that garlic taste. My Filipino friend also said their lumpia wasn't very traditional, and it was so oily that the entire bag came doused in oil.

I was craving for lugaw and found this place through Yelp. We ordered goto, tokwa't baboy, and bangsilog. Taste is authentic and was really good but I would prefer the goto with slightly thicker consistency. The place is clean and they have a condiment station in the corner of the restaurant which I didn't notice until we were done eating. The restroom is clean and has fresh smell. Service is quick and the staff makes sure the water is being refilled.

Goto was good I ordered the Tocilog it was cooked to to perfection and the garlic rice as well. Portion was ok. I also ordered the sisig it was almost perfect and very traditional recipe no mayo like other places I've tried but it was still tasty and crispy I just with it had a hint of that spice level. Service was great and staff was real welcoming. I'd go back

This is the closest Filipino food place to my work place. They serve breakfast all day. My favorite food is Pancit and lumpia. I have tried Pancit of other places, this one so far is the best one. Service is friendly and fast. There is plenty of seating area for dine in. You can also place orders for pick up. Parking in this location is a headache. There is limited parking since this restaurant is in a shopping center. Parking is shared with other stores. P.S they are closed on Tuesdays.

Always the first stop from the airport. Though it's quite a drive from LAX. My friends live around the area. Parking can be a challenge, as it always is in LA, but there's bound to be a spot somewhere. Ordered our usual - goto and tokwa't baboy (congee with a side of tofu and boiled pork), Lomi, (udon-like noodles) sizzling sisig, So good, tasty and ample portions. prices very reasonable. Staff always welcoming and friendly. Place is clean and spotless.

Food is solid, service is superb, ambiance is a local Filipino eatery, parking is pretty tough, overall our experience was pretty nice and our cravings were completely satisfied before heading back to the bay.

Just stopped by for a quick meal on my trip back to SF from LA. Food was good and at a good portion. Simple Filipino breakfast but didn't give me any wow factor. I felt like everything could have used more flavor but overall great place. Everyone was very nice.

Do they really close at 3pm?what about dinner?

Yes they do. Sad it may seem but no dinner.

What parts of meat are used in the Sisig?

    Pig ears, pork belly

Is this place open? A few months ago Yelp said they were open and when I arrived, the location was closed. I now saw recent reviews so I figure they're open, but when I call, it goes straight to voicemail and website says they're currently closed?

They have weird hours based off other reviewers. My family and I usually only go on weekends and rarely during the week but always open when we go. We went just last weekend.

Would they be open for the holiday ? Thanks

I Do not know for sure but I doubt they are open. Most places are closed but you can usually find… Read more

Or making a dish with it? all while laughing. It makes absolutely no sense. Why did he need to ask that? Why did he need to keep laughing? It is one thing to be friendly, and another to do that. Also it does not matter what it's for, but why did he feel compelled to make those comments? I of course said thank you and stayed kind because that's who I am but after I felt completely attacked. Now onto the food, lumpia was actually delicious. So hopia was not my thing, but definitely some of the best lumpia I've had. It just can't change my experience so unfortunately I will not be back. Thank you. This is based off of the hopia dessert which I tried the one other time I went into this restaurant (was horrid), and my experience today. I will update this once I actually taste the lumpia. I was just so shocked by this employee that I couldn't wait to post a review. Now I don't know his name, but the guy working the front end seemed friendly...until I asked for the larger or largest sweet and sour. I was on hold on a phone call at the same time because I was on a work lunch, and quickly popped in here to grab something, so my mind was fuzzy. Rather than say the 2oz size which may not be the size I wanted, I said largest or biggest side sweet and sour. The guy laughed and held his hands up to make a motion like widening them and said biggest? I said yes the bigger one towards the end. Shook his head and laughed again. Now I don't know what other reason this was funny other than my size maybe? I'm heavier so maybe that was funny to him. It was just rude and honestly weird. I stayed sitting on hold and waited for my order, and once it was ready he just had to ask "is this just for you or is your family making something with it?" I was shocked (still sitting on hold too) and said my family loves sweet and sour so why not and he said "ok I just had to ask" while laughing. Really? You just had to? Did I order a gallon of sauce? Did I ask for something you don't openly sell to customers all day long? I can't possibly think of anything else other than it being so funny, and me being judged because of my weight. So I will never step foot in here again. The hopia is not good anyway which is why it's been over a year since I've gone there. It was flavorless, dry, just disgusting. Apparently aside from the food being horrible quality, you will also be shamed and laughed at. Repulsive behavior and unacceptable. Second and last time trying to give this place a shot. Not worth it. The sauce isn't even filled hahah

The star of the show, of course, is their chicken inasal perfectly marinated, incredibly juicy, and grilled to smoky perfection. Every bite was packed with authentic flavor, especially when paired with their garlic rice and dipping sauces. I also have to mention their bangus steak, which was absolutely delicious. It was cooked just right, tender, flavorful, and balanced with that signature tangy-savory profile that makes it so satisfying. It's definitely something I've kept ordering again & again. I actually order from them frequently through DoorDash for home delivery, which is always convenient and tasty, but dining in person is a whole different experience. The restaurant itself is very clean, welcoming, and has a warm, homey feel that really adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal. What really sets this place apart is the authenticity. You can tell they stay true to traditional Filipino cooking methods, and it shows in both the taste and presentation. The portions are generous, and everything came out fresh and hot. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome the entire time. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, making it a great spot whether you're grabbing a quick meal or sitting down with family and friends. What really stood out is that they "cook the food fresh to order". I had to wait a few minutes, but honestly, that's a good sign. Unlike a lot of the typical "turo-turo" (point-point) Filipino spots where food has been sitting out, everything here tasted freshly made and full of flavor. The lechon kawali had that perfect crispiness and you could tell it was just fried. The pork sinigang had a rich, comforting broth with just the right tang. It could have stood to have a little more veggies, but all-in-all, it was enjoyable. I used to go to their East Hollywood location and they never disappointed, so when I saw they had one here in the Valley, I had high expectations--and they definitely delivered. I was so excited because I had been craving it for a long time. As soon as he got home, we started eating it and realized the bibinka he added to his order(which was in a separate bag) tasted funky. The ones that were in the box tasted normal, so we threw those additional 2 orders! What a waste and it's not inexpensive! The pancit was a bit in the salty side but lemon fixed it. The puto bumbong was defintely hard and very chewy. I guess the quality of food has gone down, at least for the stuff he ordered. Other foods served are probably good, but knowing that they are known for those foods I mentioned, it really is very disappointing. I just wish they could improve eh on the quality of their food , especially the ones my husband ordered. We had been placing orders with them for a long time.
