The ventilation could definitely use some improvement. Now for the food--the special lomi is top-notch. The broth is rich and flavorful, and it's loaded with toppings. Came here for breakfast and ordered the tapsilog, my usual go-to. It didn't disappoint. My husband got the tocilog and said it was good too. However, we also ordered two goto with tokwa't baboy. My husband wasn't a fan of the tokwa't baboy, he said it was a little too sweet. As for the goto, it didn't have enough tripe, and the tripe was sliced thinly, which isn't what we're used to from other Filipino restaurants. The rice could have more garlic but im happy with the serving. Hotsilog came with 5 hotdogs 2 eggs and rice. Their service water had cucumber and lemon giving it a refreshing drink. We mentioned that it was our first time and my friend's bday. She was nice and friendly! Few minutes later, she came back with a sizzling sisig. We were so surprised! We've never had any free stuff before in a restaurant, yet alone a sisig! She said that was one of their popular ones and since we didn't order it, she wanted us to try it. Food was exellent. Everything was so flavorful. The bulalo was so tender, the crispy pata was so crispy outside and the inside was juicy. The lugaw and tofu took me back to Philippines when I was little. The sisig was rich, crispy, and just yummy. My favorite was the bangus, you don't need vinegar or any condiments, it was just perfect. Our food came out at a timely manner. Our server Jeff was polite and attentive. Jun and Ruth (chef and owners) were gracious and humble. He even came out to say hi to us. It was a lovely lunch, perfect for our after church meal. The sisig was a surprise hit. It had a good amount of fat to meat ratio. The bulalo came in a hot pot and was boiling when served. I wouldn't have found this place unless suggested to me by chance one day by Yelp! I'm glad I tried it and will be adding this place to my routine restaurants to visit! For food, got the rice porridge with pork and tofu (arroz caldo with tokwat baboy), sizzling bistek tagolog with garlic rice, and egg rolls (lumpia). Everything tasted great. The consistency of the porridge is to my liking - somewhat thick like oatmeal but not as dry and it is chicken flavored. The side of pork and tofu were like condiments to the chicken porridge. The bistek was a bit vinegar-y but still really good. If asked whether just white rice or garlic rice, go for the garlic rice!!!
