The goto is my favorite thing to get here. I love the family that runs this place. Every time I come they treat me like family. You need to try the lumpia gulay, it's so good with spiced vinegar.

My go to place for tocilog! It's delicious here, I've tried other places but I love this place the most!

Their food was really really good and tasty. The owner is very nice which is actually a family owned restaurant. We were greeted by the owner, they're actually husband and wife who cooks the food. It reminded me of my grandma's arroz caldo. I was surprised by the price too. They also have all kinds of breakfast selection which is also really good. We got the longsilog as well.. I would definitely go back to this when I visit the area again. The arroz caldo with tokwat baboy only cost $8!! The container also hugeee! So you def got a lot for cheap cheap

This little family-owned eatery has evolved from a goto lugaw specialty to a Kapampangan hub of delicious goodness! They still serve a variety of SILOG breakfast dishes everyday (except Thursday) and can do different combinations of the way you like it. The chef/owner and her staff are so friendly and accommodating. They really do aim to please. Coffee is always free during the breakfast hours.

I regularly brave the "cluster" that is Panorama City Plaza just to order from Goto King N Toppings, and it's worth it. Of the many Filipino dining options in the immediate area, I frequent this place because they offer relatively uncommon dishes. Bear with me as I list all of the dishes I've tried. FOOD: Goto w/ Tokwa't Baboy: Good. The consistency of the Goto was on point, it had pretty good flavor, and came with a generous amount of tripe. The Tokwa't Baboy is okay, but the sweet soy sauce they use ruined it for me. Lugaw: Standard lugaw with a hard boiled egg and chicken on top. The consistency and flavor are the same as the Goto. La Paz Batchoy: Pretty good. It's slightly sweet, served with big portions (of noodles, pork, and chicharron), and had solid flavor. Lumpiang Gulay: Fried perfectly, crispy, and packed with vegetables albeit mainly sweet potato. Lumpia is a must-have whenever you eat Lugaw or Goto. Kalderetang Kambing: One of my favorites from Goto King. Although my dad still makes the best Kalderetang Kambing in the universe (ha!), I really like the Kaldereta here. It is mild but has good flavor and the goat is always tender, which explains why it's one of their more popular items. Sinampalukang Kambing: Good. I've also been curious of anything "Sinampalukang," so trying it with goat was perfect. Although I would have preferred a tangier broth, it was a good balance between savory and sour. Adobong Kambing: The tray was full, and the Adobong Kambing was super dried out, but I went for it anyway and ended up liking it. The goat was flavorful, tender, and not swimming in oil. Ginisang Ampalaya: Decent, but not my favorite. It's very tomato-ey. Bicol Express: Nope, nope, nope. I hate to say it, but this is the worst Bicol Express I've ever had. I'm not sure if they forgot to add bagoong or just weren't done cooking it yet, but all I tasted was pork boiled in coconut milk. It had no flavor whatsoever. Longsilog: Good, but ordinary. We were expecting homemade longanisa, but theirs seems to be supplied from elsewhere. Long story short, the vast majority of the dishes here are pretty good. Everything is reasonably priced and the family that owns this place is incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Food was stale. The tapa was hard and not fresh. And the place is not air conditioned so I wouldn't trust to buy food sitting there at all.

All of the dishes were well presented and of good portion sizes. The Beef Pares and Chicken flavors are next level and would definitely be my go-to dishes in future. Highly recommended, and another great option if you're looking for Filipino food, yet want a change from the regular spots in the seafood city area.

Manami King né Mami King is one of the better Filipino restaurants in the San Fernando Valley…read more Mami refers to a Filipino style Rāmen in a light meat broth. Small eatery in a small strip mall where most interesting foods in L.A. seem to be. For takeout, go to the counter to order, or sit in a chair to have table service. 1) Kikiam is a rare, specialized dish similar to Thai Hoy Jaw. It is herbed, finely ground pork infused with Patís/fish sauce which is wrapped in Yuba/Tōfu skin and deep fried to a crisp. It looks like an egg roll, and the meat inside becomes meaty, dense. A sweet-sour chile sauce is a good accompaniment. This is a must get. 2) Lomi seems like a relative of Japanese Udon soup. The broth is soy sauce tinged and thickened with corn starch to a velvety consistency. Various fish terrine with different textures and flavours. Chicharón, fried pig skin, shredded chicken, shrimp, boiled egg. Cabbage, carrots, green onion. Comes our piping hot to my liking. Very satisfying noodle soup that especially would be welcomed on a cold winter day. I like it better than the Mami since it has more pronounced, distinct flavors. 3) Pancit Palabok: Slippery, thin glass noodles wetted with a Patís based broth. Sprinkling of powdered fried Chicharón, chopped green onions, dressed with sliced hard boiled eggs topped with streamed shrimp. 4) Lechon Kawali is pork with crisp skin, rich layer of fat, chewy meat fried in its own fat like carnitas. Mang Tomás sauce which has puréed pork liver, sweet-sour vinegar is a thick sauce that pairs perfectly with the wild porkiness. 5) The Sio Mai/Shūmai has dense, heavy, finely minced pork flavoured with Patís, touch of garlic wrapped by wheat flour Wonton skin. May not be my favorite, but acceptable. 6) Bola Bola Siopao is a relative of Bao. Humongous steam baked flour bun is sweet, cushy, very extra filling that carboholics will love. The inside has herbed ground pork, lop chong hoisin sauce infused sausage, and salted boiled egg. All of which doesn't have the fire power of strong tastes and amount to flavour the bland bun. For me, it was a waste of calories. 7) Halo Halo is totally worth the calories. At least 3 types of beans simmered in sugar sauce. Purple and green jellies for festive color. Cubes of eggy flan. Ubè purple, sweet potato and banana are simmered in brown sugar adding a woody, toasty, satisfying sweetness. Evaporated milk adds that dairy richness. This is not a dessert to be missed. A Must get. All in all, 4+ stars. You're missing out if you don't come to eat here.

I ordered the chicken inasal - Paa (which is the thigh and leg parts of the chicken). I also ordered Batchoy. I sat on the side and my order probably took about 10+ min so it wasn't a big deal to order and wait. If you decide to dine in- it's a no frills place. I see a lot of groups dining but they only have a few tables. I got home and was pleasantly surprised that the chicken was 2 pieces of the quarter leg. I really liked the chicken, properly marinated and cooked well on the grill. The dipping sauce and calamnsi add more flavor. The batchoy was also good and not salty compared to other places I've been that sell batchoy. Solid place for Bacolod chicken. Just be sure to wrap and secure tour togo order for soup. I've only had the lumpia shanghai, veggie lumpia and pancit bihon. The veggie lumpia, could be better, but I'm also spoiled by home cooking with grandparents my entire life, so I have my bias. The pancit bihon (glass noodle) was pretty much the exact style my family makes, perfectly seasoned, excellent ratio of ingredients, wish there was Chinese sausage however. I gobbled up my portion today and had to write a review because of how masarap everything was. The lumpia shanghai was perfect, freshly made, you can tell everything here is prepared on the spot. So don't be a in a rush! I would have given 5 stars but they forgot my shrimp in the pancit today :/ It's ok, I'll be back and maybe grab a tray of lumpia for my kids birthday soon! I look forward to coming back and trying more here. If you're not a Filipino, this is the place to go to where the food will be proper representation of good Filipino food! Also if you don't eat much pork like myself, you can ask for chicken in the pancit instead of pork. I've been here twice on weekdays and there's always people waiting for food, and of course the service is very kind, Filipinos are the best at treating guest

The ventilation could definitely use some improvement. Now for the food--the special lomi is top-notch. The broth is rich and flavorful, and it's loaded with toppings. It's easily one of the better lomis I've had in the area. The arroz caldo is also among the best I've tried in the Valley--comforting, hearty, and packed with flavor.
