Turon (24) and Pork Lumpia Shanghai (50)
    Michelle H.

Called in to place an order before driving over (30 minute drive), was very easy and simple! As soon as arrived my order was ready and hot. Lovely hard working ladies and very friendly. The set up is ideal for to go, there's no dine in option. But from the popularity, it was a hit for party trays as customer after customer were here for large orders. I ordered (24) Turon and (50) pork lumpia Shanghai for a small party of 12 adults, was perfect for our size! No lumpia left at the night and barely any turon. Was a hit, my husband says these are now a must for party trays as guests. Single serve items, protein and veggie or fruit-sweet items so he thinks they're more "healthy" compared to messy dips or overly sweet cakes. Definitely will order again, everything was delicious and raved about it.

Empanadas and everything there is delicious . The turon is amazing and stays crispy even 2 days later Service is great , everyone is so nice . If you call and they don't pick up you have the option of texting an order

The sweetness and crunch of their turon keeps me coming back for more. Not to mention their party trays. A must try at least once and decide for yourself how fresh the food tastes.

Its a small store in a small plaza with tiny parking spots. But their turon is big time! You can sww them loading trays and they're always busy cause so many people are buying! Yes its a bit pricey but they're that good. You get what you pay for. Gotta try em if you want to taste some awesome turon.

TURON!!!! It's the best sweet thing you'll ever put in your mouth! Make sure to place an order. They make it fresh. You'll be the star on every party you'll attend to. Just make sure they'll eat it ASAP or the same day. There was a time we took a few dozens to my family in Las Vegas but the party would be the next day. They warned me that it will not be fresh and maybe not so crunchy anymore. No problem! Air fryer to the rescue! It was still great and actually it was more crunchy...hehe! Love their honesty, which makes them who they are. Inside is simple and the aroma of fresh turon will embrace you. BTW, their empanadas were stellar as well. Anyone knows that parking is hard to find sometimes but it's doable. I highly recommend this place. So close to home if you know what I mean

Delicious and love the convenience of ordering catering trays. Nice sized turons and lumpia shanghais. Will definitely be ordering often from here. What sucks though is the parking but you can find parking in the seafood city lot behind the plaza.

Best turon in the valley for $1.45 each. Crunchy and fresh all the time as they are always sold out bu the end of the day. Their chicken empanadas are now $2.79 each. They also added lumpia in their menu but that's made to order I think. This is only a take out place and items get cheaper by the dozen. Great for potluck parties, always a favorite

I first tried their turon when I was invited to a friend's birthday, and I can definitely say it was one of the best turon I've ever had. That's why I chose it for our recent potluck. I went to their shop to buy some, and the place was okay. It's a simple, no-frills grab-and-go spot with ok lighting and minimal decor. Nothing cozy or inviting. The turon were already prepared and waiting on the shelves, so service was quick. The staff were nice, but the greeting felt a bit routine -- polite, but not especially warm or welcoming. As for the turon, it was still great. Crispy, sweet, and satisfying. However, to be honest, it's a bit pricey at almost $1.50 for a small piece.

The best Turon in town (I think that's how you spell it) I like the fact that they open early and the turons are always fresh, crispy and delicious.

First time trying this place on 8/3/24 and we are so glad we stopped by. After getting halo halo from Craft Tea House, we stumbled upon D' new Aristocrat. Walked in and was greeted with friendly smiles from 2 ladies. They had so many turons and chicken empanadas. I ordered a dozen turon and 5 chicken empanadas. The restaurant was clean and they still practice covid distancing with tables around to guide customers. The turon looked appetizing! The turonnis crunchy and had a really delicious flavor. The chicken empanadas also had a good flavor but unfortunately, they were dry inside. I don't know if it's bc I put it in the toaster oven to reheat but they were dry. The place seemed clean and we didn't see much more of what they offer. We only saw turon and chicken empanadas. So glad we stopped by!

Go for the turon. Veggie lumpia is frozen Chinese style veggie egg roll. Nothing special and cheaper from any Asian market.

Or making a dish with it? all while laughing. It makes absolutely no sense. Why did he need to ask that? Why did he need to keep laughing? It is one thing to be friendly, and another to do that. Also it does not matter what it's for, but why did he feel compelled to make those comments? I of course said thank you and stayed kind because that's who I am but after I felt completely attacked. Now onto the food, lumpia was actually delicious. So hopia was not my thing, but definitely some of the best lumpia I've had. It just can't change my experience so unfortunately I will not be back. Thank you. This is based off of the hopia dessert which I tried the one other time I went into this restaurant (was horrid), and my experience today. I will update this once I actually taste the lumpia. I was just so shocked by this employee that I couldn't wait to post a review. Now I don't know his name, but the guy working the front end seemed friendly...until I asked for the larger or largest sweet and sour. I was on hold on a phone call at the same time because I was on a work lunch, and quickly popped in here to grab something, so my mind was fuzzy. Rather than say the 2oz size which may not be the size I wanted, I said largest or biggest side sweet and sour. The guy laughed and held his hands up to make a motion like widening them and said biggest? I said yes the bigger one towards the end. Shook his head and laughed again. Now I don't know what other reason this was funny other than my size maybe? I'm heavier so maybe that was funny to him. It was just rude and honestly weird. I stayed sitting on hold and waited for my order, and once it was ready he just had to ask "is this just for you or is your family making something with it?" I was shocked (still sitting on hold too) and said my family loves sweet and sour so why not and he said "ok I just had to ask" while laughing. Really? You just had to? Did I order a gallon of sauce? Did I ask for something you don't openly sell to customers all day long? I can't possibly think of anything else other than it being so funny, and me being judged because of my weight. So I will never step foot in here again. The hopia is not good anyway which is why it's been over a year since I've gone there. It was flavorless, dry, just disgusting. Apparently aside from the food being horrible quality, you will also be shamed and laughed at. Repulsive behavior and unacceptable. Second and last time trying to give this place a shot. Not worth it. The sauce isn't even filled hahah

The ventilation could definitely use some improvement. Now for the food--the special lomi is top-notch. The broth is rich and flavorful, and it's loaded with toppings. It's easily one of the better lomis I've had in the area. The arroz caldo is also among the best I've tried in the Valley--comforting, hearty, and packed with flavor. What really stood out is that they "cook the food fresh to order". I had to wait a few minutes, but honestly, that's a good sign. Unlike a lot of the typical "turo-turo" (point-point) Filipino spots where food has been sitting out, everything here tasted freshly made and full of flavor. The lechon kawali had that perfect crispiness and you could tell it was just fried. The pork sinigang had a rich, comforting broth with just the right tang. It could have stood to have a little more veggies, but all-in-all, it was enjoyable. I used to go to their East Hollywood location and they never disappointed, so when I saw they had one here in the Valley, I had high expectations--and they definitely delivered. The ones that were in the box tasted normal, so we threw those additional 2 orders! What a waste and it's not inexpensive! The pancit was a bit in the salty side but lemon fixed it. The puto bumbong was defintely hard and very chewy. I guess the quality of food has gone down, at least for the stuff he ordered. Other foods served are probably good, but knowing that they are known for those foods I mentioned, it really is very disappointing.
