[[HIGHLIGHT]]Really cute donut store and I'm glad that they opened up in the neighbourhood[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] here it does kind of suck just because [[HIGHLIGHT]]there is so much construction around the area, but it is worth a visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are a lot of different flavours to try out and for the price point I think it is worth it.

Saw this across the street after picking up a package, and decided to go on a whim. I was in a rush, so my only goal was donuts. However, their variety of donuts was large! There was so much to choose from that I was getting decision paralysis lol. I ended up getting an apple fritter, honey dip, toffee crunch, mango jelly, lemon jelly, and raspberry white chocolate. They're just over $2 a donut ($13.50 for my half dozen). My favourite of the bunch was the toffee crunch and apple fritter. The toffee crunch was really good -- not too sweet and the toffee itself wasn't too hard for a soft mouth. The apple fritter was very vibrant and tasted very fresh. Good balance of acidity of the apples with the dough. I wouldn't get mango again, but the rest of the donuts were worth it! I also went another day to try their breakfast croissant. It's nothing special, and actually quite below average. The sausage was not very flavourful, and the croissant is very bready. The cheese isn't melted. Wouldn't get again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great service and quiet ambience inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is a new addition to the neighbourhood. I stopped by to grab some donuts. I noticed they have an extensive donut selection as well as coffee, ice cream and sandwiches. Donuts are quite tasty and they have many of the classic flavours. They also offer some classics with a twist such as mango or peach filling donuts. Service was fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is a bit dated looking for a new donut shop, but maybe that is their goal to keep it the same vibe as their Langley location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is a small parking lot at the donut shop for easy access to the shop.

The staff is very kind and on top of things! They'll make you feel at home. I ordered the Ham and cheese panini- The ham was AMAZING! We couldn't believe it was just ham, the smoke was perfect. Juicy and fresh tomatoes and fresh, dressed greens. I loved the mustard and paprika aioli- great combination, so flavorful and creative. The ciabatta bread was light, fresh and soft! I don't always love ciabatta but I think I've been made a believer. My husband had the Motown Philly. Delicious, huge portion. Tons of flavorful meat, cheese and onions and peppers, with great seasoning and care, and tender steak. The garlic aoili was a great addition to bring it all together. 10/10 some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I will 100% make this a stop anytime we are in the area, and I highly recommend a stop in or grabbing something to go!

Today, being yet another "forgot to pack a lunch" days, I went ahead and ordered a Number 02 combo (Turkey). Order was delivered to my workplace via Uber Eats. Unwrapping the sandwich, I could tell that I was in for a treat. From the soft bun, to the fresh crisp veggies, and the portion size of their regular, I was already jonesing to take my first bite. On this particular sandwich, I opted for the extra additions of cucumber, onions, and Mack sauce. The veggies crunched beneath my teeth and I bit into the sandwich and the soft, textured bun ripped cleanly. This is a great combination of sensory experience in a tasty sandwich; the light flavours of the sauces mixing perfectly with the savoury/sweet Turkey meat? It was just on point. A hint of bacon flavour came through as this sandwich does include it, and the tomato shined just enough striking its perfect balance within. The guacamole was pleasant although not exactly flavourful, but added a nice creamy texture to compliment the sandwich overall, so no points lost. I'll always order to have avocado over not so I'm not complaining in the least. The overall combination of light and subtle, dare I say "clean" flavours, sat within a textural matinee of crunch, crisp, soft, squish, creamy, savoury, sweet, and salty? I'll definitely be ordering this one again. I also got a side of a water, and an Elmans Big Pickle. Not much to say about either besides they're what you'd expect them to be. Next time I order from Big Star, and there *will be a next time*, lll make sure to dine in, so I can get the whole package upfront. If their decor is anything like their dishes (clean, fresh, balanced, deliciously paired), they'll have a definite repeat customer as far as I'm concerned, not that they don't have me hooked already~! 10/10, will eat from again

This particular location is in the same complex as the T&T Supermarket, it is at the entrance to the food court, actually this food court standard is pretty good considering the size and lack of selection, still each stall is way up there with food quality! Banh Mi here is freshly made to order, the bread is freshly toasted and is very light, I love their pâté and the pickled vegetables, just add the right savoury and tanginess to the sandwich! And of course the jalapeño adds the necessary kick to the whole experience! Another recommended item: Fried Glutenous Ball with Sesame( Bánh Cam)! This place seems a bit different from the other locations, in that their bread seems to be more like a long bun as opposed to a French style baguette. They have excellent juice and smoothie options as well as Vietnamese coffee. They bake their bread and Kouign Amann pastries fresh every day which makes all the difference. The lighting isn't the best, as the staff mostly rely on the large entrance window for natural light. Service Quality The staff was kind and friendly. They are more than happy to help you choose a sandwich if it's your first time. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Menu Variety Their sandwich selection is excellent, and the bread is particularly noteworthy. They also offer a couple of iced tea options, which is a nice alternative to water. Food Presentation If you're dining in, your sandwich will be served in a plastic basket lined with wax paper. For takeout, it's wrapped in the same wax paper. Food Taste and Quality I ordered the Spicy Italian, which had just the right amount of heat. It was generously loaded with greens, and the multigrain bread was fresh, likely baked that morning. Portion Sizes The portions are substantial. I was only able to finish half of my sandwich for lunch. Price and Value The sandwich cost about $15, which is on the pricier side. It would have been nice to see it priced around $12. Overall Experience and Recommendation If you're in the area or heading to Horseshoe Bay to catch a ferry, definitely stop by S'wich for a sandwich. I will definitely be returning to try other options on the menu.
