Two years ago my wife and I came to Barcelona as part of our honeymoon, we got our reservation wrong (there's a similarly named place near by). Anyways, we ended up eating here and loved it! Two years later we came back and wanted this to be our first proper meal. The Staff are genuinely wonderful people, they treat their customers with absolute kindness. The food is absolutely outstanding! There isn't a bad thing on the menu. The decor of the restaurant is tropical and fun, your eyes won't stop gazing at the murals. If you find yourself in Barcelona, come here!

Our meal was amazing with several twists on the classic tapas in the area. Nice cozy vibe in there with good drinks and reasonable prices. Reservation was required as they kept turning people away without one, so I recommend planning in advance as you don't want to miss this one.

This was a highlight of my trip! We stumbled upon this restaurant when we noticed several people waiting outside to get in. We added our name to the list (they primarily do reservations which we did the next night when we returned ;) ) and 30 minutes later we were seated at the bar. This place was AWESOME. We had 2 glasses of wine each, the cheese platter, zucchini, lamb, and truffle ravioli (all tapas). It was the best food I had had in my time in europe. The service was great, the ambiance was great... and we were stunned when we got the bill and it was 65 euros. I would have gladly paid $100+ in the states for that. The staff was lovely, they offered generous wine pours, and we had such a great time we had to tell anyone who would listen to go check them out.

Outstanding! Amazing! The food was excellent. Was so excited to eat it that I forgot to take photos of everything. Everything came out timely, service was wonderful, and the food was very good. Small restaurant, table behind us was very loud but super cool ambiance and atmosphere

This was a great last dinner in Barcelona! Luvkily we were able to get a reservation day of, but on the later side. For a Sunday at 11pm the place was packed! Definitely make a reservation a few days in advance if you can. The atmosphere was so lively and fun and the food was amazing! We decided to try Sensi gourmet because we wanted to try some more unique tapas after eating more traditional Catalon dishes for the week. We loved each dish more than the next! We started with the broccoli souffle which paired well with the marmalade and crispy onions. Then the truffle ravioli which were delicious and the portion was a good size. My favorite dish was the chicken with apple mousse! What an incredible combination! The apple mouse was wonderful! The duck was amazing as well, perfectly cooked! The only dish we found somewhat lacking was the roasted apple with strawberry mousse and banana puree. While it was still tasty and the flavors were good, the presentation was somewhat lacking. I wish there had been more roasted apples. The waiters brought us free shots of limoncello after our meal which was so kind! There are several other Sensi restuarants nearby which I'll have to try next time I'm in Barcelona!

Amazing ! Definitely make reservations a day or two in advance. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The servers and cooks would walk in the front door with fresh bread, herbs, and fish. The presentation of all the dishes were works of art. One of the top restaurants that I ate at in Barcelona, do not miss out !

We snagged a reservation after a long day of walking around the absolutely stunning Barcelona, and thankfully, were able to as the queue was quite long all night long. What a treat! The restaurant was seriously hopping the entire time we were there, and the service was correspondingly up and down, but always friendly. The food was fantastic - an upscale take on local tapas. The tomato rubber Coca bread, as with every place in Barcelona, was a revelation. It says a lot when it's the one dish we have replicated at home multiple times in two weeks! The grilled octopus was some of the best we have ever had, and is the one dish we will remember for a long time. We tried another six of their tapas and each one was quite wonderful, along with the cocktails and wine. The biggest highlight for us was the Gorgonzola and pear risotto - easily the best risotto I have ever had! Amazing... This is a wonderful place to stop in if you have a chance, just remember to make a reservation first!

Some of the best tapas in Barcelona! I love all the Sensi restaurants in the city, and I brought my mom here when she came to visit me so that I could show her a truly delicious tapas dinner experience. Both the ambiance and prices are on the higher end, but the refined atmosphere in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, classy service, and absolutely amazing food are a must-do when in Barcelona. All of the ingredients and flavors offer unique, delicious spins on classic, authentic Catalan and Spanish tapas. The berry almond marmalade with the cheese board and mini Oxtail burgers were unbelievable!! Definitely make a reservation if possible, since it's a popular place.

Great tapa experience!!! We had the Ravioli (truffle), the lamb with orange sauce, the zucchini lasagna, and the tartar. We are American and weren't sure what to get so we let our server select his favorites. We were so pleased with his choices. The lamb was so tender and the ravioli was so rich. Great vibe and authentic experience. They know what they are doing here!

Sensational tapas, actually the best we had during our Barcelona trip. Recommended for everybody who is up for something new and likes experimenting. Very friendly staff. Nice, modern, atmosphere. Mixed audience, but of course a lot of hipsters.

I've been to this place 3 times now and it is the best tapas I have had in Barcelona. It's well priced and you have to get 3 tapas per person which is the perfect amount in my opinion. Some tapas are obviously larger than others but you can tell by the prices which are bigger and which are smaller. I've had almost every tapa on the menu by now and my absolute 3 favourites are the tomato tartare, the octopus, and the truffle ravioli. All of the tapas are good but you can't go wrong with these 3. Tip: you need to make a reservation a day or two in advance or else you won't get a table until 11pm. If your reservation is for a prime time (such as 9pm) expect to have to wait 15-20 minutes for your table because this restaurant is extremely packed. However usually if you have to wait a bit they give your table free glasses of champagne! Service is very helpful and they speak fluent English.

Our favorite dinner from 9 nights in Spain. An extensive (non traditional) tapas menu in a great trendy cool hip atmosphere with great service and amazing flavorful food. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time to secure a spot!

Very flavorful and fast experience. Oxtail and mashed potatoes 10/10: the oxtail meet is so tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes pair so well with the oxtail. Mushroom, steak, and egg yolk 9/10: soo flavorful and balance of veggies and protein. Amazing textures and flavors. Sparkling sangria: 8/10 I don't normally live the taste of alcohol but this was great. Not tooooo strong and if tastes pretty good if you mix it with the orange juice. Fresh orange juice: 10/10 so tangy and delicious. I can't recommend it enough. Patatas bravas: 9/10 solid no complaints! Dessert Tapas: - bread dessert (Tarija): 11/10 amazing dessert that is creamy, cameralized, and has a mochi like texture. This fried chewy dessert is not too sweet and such an affordable price. - coconut pudding 9/10 solid and refreshing if you like flan - bread, chocolate oil, salt 7/10: I live the complex flavors. The chocolate mousse was light and the bread to mousse ratio was perfect. It's a smaller dessert tho I wouldn't recommend it if ur sharing. Service: amazing! Staff I'm everywhere so it was very easy to order more food. Also we were sitting buy the area where they made dessert and they allowed me to record them making it!! This is the first restaurant I stopped at for some tapas during my trip to Barcelona and it spoiled…read moreme. I ordered a few things so let me talk about each one. Ham & Chicken Croquette: This was too good for how small it was. Just a nice potato croquette filled with some great quality ham and chicken. It was akin to a cordon bleu. White Asparagus with Baby Beans and Ham: This one floored me. Tender white asparagus in a vinegar based sauce with some tender ham and beans. I could have had two orders of this. Pulpo (Octopus) with Pork Belly: Not the best Pulpo of the trip but it sure set the standard. The octopus was unbelievably tender and you can just taste how fresh it is. The pork belly slice almost felt like an odd choice here to be honest. I didn't really know how to eat it with the pulpo since it overpowered it. The pork belly itself wasn't very impressive either so I kinda brushed it off at the end. It was a bit dry at some parts and just kept throwing me off. Gambas roja a la plancha: Prawns are EVERYWHERE here and they know how to cook them. These were tasty but not the freshest or most flavorful I had this trip either. Always eat the shell! Scallops a la plancha in a leek-apple based sauce with bits of crisped ham: This dish on its own makes this place a 5. The sauce is DIVINE. It's a little sweet and creamy to contrast the savory, perfectly cooked scallops swimming in it. The crunchy bits of ham give you a nice texture surprise with some much needed salt to balance it all out. These scallops practically melted in my mouth with each bite. This is a must try. Beef filet and foie gras montadito: Basically steak and foie gras on a toasty slice of bread. Honestly? This was the weakest dish here. The steak itself was just okay and I didn't really like the foie gras. It was like a very gamey butter. I'm sure it has its applications but it just felt like too much going on here. I'd pass on it. Chocolate in 3 textures: So for dessert I wanted chocolate so I went for the choco bomb. It was okay. I guess the three textures were the ganache, mousse, and wafers? It just reminded me of an elevated chocolate wafer bar like one from Loaker. I'd also pass on this dessert. My server was lovely and the atmosphere here is vibrant. Though there were few misses I would absolutely eat here again and get the things I loved but switch up the rest. That's part of the fun in tapas anyway.

The foie gras was absolutely unforgettable--rich, delicate, and simply to die for. The sangria was equally exceptional, fresh, balanced, and dangerously delicious. The sangria was delicious, refreshing, and made to order. It was definitely more authentic than what we're getting in America. We ordered the patatas bravas, tempura asparagus, the octopus, and the steak. It all came out as it became available. We couldn't decide what our favorite was, to be honest. We ordered an ice cream sandwich for dessert and quickly requested our bill. We didn't want to hold the staff up as we noticed they were cleaning the establishment and people were finishing up. Overall, what a great experience for our first meal in Barcelona! Cute and hidden gem.
