Tracy is fantastic. My fiance and I designed my engagement ring here together and Tracy has such a good eye that she made all our wishes come true. When we first came to the store (upon recommendation of my fiance's friends), I didn't see anything that particularly caught my eye - the typical engagement setting isn't my style. Tracy said she was going to a jewelry fair soon and would keep an eye out for something up my alley. And she did! She had my fiance come back in to meet with a British jeweler and he had an amazing collection that we both really liked. There was one ring that I liked in particular and we reworked the details to change the stone and the size of the setting - within our budget! When my fiance proposed on December 20th, he gave me an amazing ring, exactly what I'd wanted (without knowing exactly what I wanted). Yelp never answered why my review keeps getting pushed aside. I had no motive other than to brag about my experience with Pennachio, and it still says there is only one review of my jewelry store. I want to know why! I don't know about other people's experiences and I was really surprised to hear what happened with Gregg, but as a customer myself I have to say Pennachio Jewelers is such a caring family business and are the most honest and reasonable people I've dealt with when purchasing my jewelery. I had lost a diamond stud and they spent several days calling their supply house to see if they could find the PERFECT match, and I'm THRILLED! Tracey took extra time to call me with updates, her prices were not high at all (especially considering I had just priced a jewelry store across the street that was like $1000 over what she charged me!). I'd say to Gregg, even though you had a bitter experience, I think a lot more of Pennachio's integrity compared to handling customers that obviously don't understand how jewelry buying goes. Its not a simple cut and dry "I like it I'll buy it" kind of thing...especially with replacements and repairs. At least I have comfort in knowing when I come in, EVERYBODY knows my name and I can tell I'm welcomed and getting service that I'm paying for. Hi Ron. Actually I find it amusing that you are actually flat out lying now. I never once said I was " very impressed with the work and couldn't even find the diamond that was set to replace the one that was missing and as such made the choice to pay for the job." This is just a flat out lie. And what difference does it make when I created this review? I actually just started to yelp recently and the fact of the matter is this incident actually happened exactly how I stated it did. That is the bottom line. I'm glad I could be your guinea pig for your "process change". And no I wouldn't trust you to do anything, clearly something as simple as don't touch my ring can"t be understood, so why would I have you handle anything else? And really, a free polishing of the ring? That was my consolation prize for going through this headache? I can walk into a bunch of jewelery stores in the area and they will all polish my jewelery for free without even purchasing anything. Hard to imagine I know. And it's really a shame that these "conservative" yelpers are being filtered. How come there a ton of other stores on here with a bunch of good/bad reviews? Yet you only have 1?
