She just did not want to admit that the poor quality repair was their mistake. Sterling has always in the past been known for quality repairs, however, this time they missed the mark and I don't know that I will trust them again.

I was told that they are understaffed and she was overwhelmed. She completed another inquiry and would be working on my order. I was told that she would send me the information that night. There was a timeline for the item as it was a gift I expressed my frustration with the delays and my concerns and the associate abruptly hung up. I did not receive the quote as promised again. I have been a past customer here for many purchases and never experienced such poor service. They are not attentive to the customer and do not follow through with a commitment. Very disappointed and saddened in this business. My wife…read morebought me a high end chronograph as a wedding gift, for several thousand dollars. An Ollech and Wajs diving watch. After a few months I noticed that despite my regular windings, it would run slow. Then I took it into a shallow pool. And remember the face of the watch said "waterproof". The watch stopped working. The face was damaged by droplets of water that leaked in. I reached out to Rick, the owner of this establishment, about fixing this issue. I was told that a simple maintenance and cleaning would get it back to normal. But he ironically said he did not have the time. So not only was the watch faulty from the start, Rick did not take any responsibility for it. What saddens me the most is that the watch used to be a beautiful symbol of my marriage, and at one time I considered it to be the nicest gift I had ever been given. But after my interaction with Rick, it's just a sore reminder that you just can't put your trust in small businesses anymore. Where is the integrity? It's no wonder people end up just going to Amazon now. Further evidence that American businesses are self destructing due to a lack of honor and laziness.
