I felt respected that they put this on the bike I had been emailing them about without signing any papers yet.

We've all visited a dealership with our sights set on something. The salesman and their strategy to move inventory is like trying to pass a kidney stone; you have to do it and it's so damn painful. I didn't get ANY of this at GP sports. In fact, I might have thought they either didn't like their actual job or didn't think I was serious simply because they aren't pushy. At all. I started my communication with them inquiring about a particular motorcycle online. I called Trent the next business day asking about pricing and for the specific motorcycle VIN number so that I could get an accurate insurance quote on my end. He was very prompt in getting the answers I was looking for and emailed me the VIN number within minutes. I applied for financing online, again no pushy sales calls. I got an email from Carlos the sales manager the next business day clearly outlining price and payment options based on monthly terms. I responded saying that I appreciated his patience with me and that I would be coming in 2 days later to sign papers. Carlos was very professional, cool to deal with and honestly a no BS approach. Is it because I'm older and have really good credit? Perhaps. But in no way did I feel any pressure from GP to "make the sale" not to mention their pricing is ON point. Granted they are not a giant dealer you may find in Sacramento, but they have the desirable models you are looking for at an exceptional price. I would definitely recommend anybody interested in a motorcycle, specialized bicycle or any other powersport toy to visit GP sports! I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I've had such an amazing experience at GP Sports. Carlos and the team here have gone above and beyond to help me in my new motorcycle journey. They were able to acquire the bike that I wanted so I wouldn't have to compromise. They did everything they could to help me feel safer and comfortable with my bike, especially being a new petite rider. Everyone I've interacted with in the sales, service, and parts department have been very helpful and kind. I feel comfortable going to them with any questions or concerns. It's totally opposite from what I experienced at a different dealership. I will be sticking with GP for my moto needs even though they are further away from me.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. This review is specifically for Trevor - the person who assisted me the moment I walked through the door. I came into the store two days ago, just looking and exploring my options. Prior to coming, I did see a motorcycle I was most interested in but it was not there during the time. I came across another motorcycle that literally screamed my name. Trevor was able to pull out two other bikes and help me through the process in finding the right one I felt most comfortable with. He was so welcoming, I loved his sense of humor. He made everything so fast and smooth. With that, I was able to find my beautiful first bike. Not only did I find the bike that best fit me, I also found one of the most amazing salesman. Trevor, you are awesome! Today, I got to pick it up - he did a thorough run through. How to operate my brand new bike, tips/tricks, etc. Definitely recommend anybody who is looking to purchase a bike, come here! I will continue to be a customer because of the experience/customer service.

Up for a new ride and saw on their website a 2023 FJR 1300ES for sale. I first inquired online and was contacted a few days later by Carlos, sales manager who informed me the bike was still available. Long story short, I was able to trade in my 2020 KTM and pay the difference for my new FJR. The transaction was simple and was able to ride my new FJR home. Service was good and Carlos had the bike ready to ride home.

Was pretty helpful answering questions on various bikes, but tried to upcharge the dealership preparation fee from 675 to 1175 for it being a special edition bike. No other dealership does that. Went to one in Fremont and their preparation fee for the same bike was $600 with no upcharge. I believe they are kind of scummy and you should take your business elsewhere. Update: This is an update to what the customer service person replied. I am not as upset of the price hike, but more so how they went about it. The tags inside the store for the bike said 675 and then as we were processing was also typed to be 675. Later, the person changed it to 1175 saying its because its an SE even though the tags said it was 675 and the employee said it was 675. This may all be a misunderstanding and not a scummy tactic, and may not deserve a 1 star review, and I probably would change it. But then their reply insinuating I'm insignificant and I'm hiding behind my keyboard doesn't feel very professional, so I'm keeping it as is, and recommending other stores if your in the market.

Actually purchased 2 motorcycles from GP sports. A Suzuki SV650 in 2020 and this year my dream bike of a 2023 Yamaha MT-09 SP. In both cases the staff were great and the prices fair given the market and availability. After sale service: I've struggled to acquire Yamaha accessories for my MT-09. The staff really helps as best they can given Yamaha's lack of inventory. Service dept: Took in my MT-09 for a Yamaha recall. Great knowledgable team with no issues at all and ready to help. Parts dept: Good people, reasonable prices. Picked up oil/filter/washer/etc for maintenance. For example, oil is less than what Amazon charges, and I like supporting a local business even if I have to pay a bit more. I can highly recommend GP Sports, and especially their sales manager Carlos. If your interested in a motorcycle, just stop in and see for yourself, or call Carlos directly. Burt

I recently purchased my 2024 Yamaha MT03 as my first bike here at GP Sports and it was a great experience. The salespeople aren't trying to up charge you or sell you on bs, they're just selling you the bike while trying to provide the best deal. Russel helped me out with buying the bike and he made the whole process easy to understand for a squid like me.

Reading the other reviews tells a story. I too had paid to have accessories installed on my GoldWing that I purchased from GP Sports and discovered that they stole parts I paid for that were supposed to replace the stock ones. Now because of this I am having severe issues and since it was hidden from view, I just discovered it. Russ was going to work with me but now has basically told me to F&^k off. He calls it a warranty issue. It is a Defrauding the Customer Issue. It would have cost him $250 to resolve this. Considering I spend over $30,000 it is very chicken shit on his part. But not done. He will discover $250 would have been the cheap way. The picture is the Trunk Rack I bought from them and the Parts they stole from the kit being shown by red arrows. They just left the stocks ones in that I paid to have installed also.

I came in prepared to make multiple purchases and, frankly, left confused by the entire experience. My time is limited. I run a business and manage private investments, so when I shop for vehicles, I generally know what I want, have a budget established, and am prepared to buy. I was looking for three machines: 1. A Can-Am Canyon Redrock -- budgeted around $36,000. 2. Either a 125th Anniversary Indian Chief or a black Chief Bobber -- around $24,000. 3. A Challenger Dark Horse with the PowerPlus 112, preferably blue, that I can eventually set up with a sidecar for my service dog -- around $35,000. I had made sure I had approximately $100,000 available so that if the right machines and numbers were there, I could simply pay cash and get it done. I arrived shortly before closing, and the salesperson was friendly, but surprisingly unfamiliar with the Can-Am Canyon. I actually had to point the Canyon out on a poster because he initially didn't think they carried it. When I asked about the Redrock trim, there was additional confusion because he thought I was asking for something other than a Canyon. I was looking for a Canyon Redrock. They didn't have the motorcycles I wanted, which isn't anyone's fault. We did, however, work numbers on the Canyon. They came back at roughly $38,000. I countered at $35,500. Instead of countering or trying to find a number that worked, I was essentially told to "come back when you're ready to buy." That was the part I couldn't understand. I was ready to buy. In fact, I kept trying to close the deal. It was one of the strangest sales experiences I've had because I felt like I was the salesperson trying to overcome the dealership's objections. I didn't expect them to accept every number I offered. Negotiating is part of buying a vehicle. I expected a counteroffer, a conversation with a manager, or some effort to find common ground -- particularly when I was potentially looking at purchasing three machines. Instead, I left. The salesperson was nice, and I don't have anything personally negative to say about him. But being willing and financially prepared to spend close to $100,000 and leaving because I couldn't get the dealership to actually sell me something was a very strange experience. At this point, I'll most likely bought the Canyon from another dealer over the phone when I was still in their parking lot and will probably get the Indians through another dealer.

I came in and talked to Richard and he is knowledgeable/ honest about the bikes. He isn't pushing you to buy a bike, he just wants to give you all the details to make you feel comfortable in your purchase. Most of these bikes are bought at auctions and then brought to this shop to go through their inspection and then resold. The first bike I bought was a 2006 Honda CBR1000 w/ aftermarket OEM fairings. Had the bike for just little over 60 days when the lower fairing flew off when riding down the freeway. Went back to J&M and said that I don't feel safe on this bike if parts can fly off the bike while riding without any warnings. The shop mechanic Daniel said he is willing to take the bike in on a trade and since they treated me fair I accepted and got a 07 Suzuki GSXR 600. This bike was mechanically and cosmetically sound. I was beyond excited to have the bike and put almost 1000 miles on the bike before another safety incident happened. My clutch cover engine case cracked and the clutch was completely inoperable. By the grace of God, I was only pushing the bike in neutral out of my garage when I heard the crack. I reached back out to the shop mechanic Daniel and he said he'd take a look at it. There was a bolt that wasn't properly loctite glued in place and that's what caused my clutch to give out and case to break. He had a spare cover and bolt in stock and once again came through to help me. After test riding the back and making sure everything was safely operable he gave the bike back to me. He did let me know that this wasn't caught by him nor his team because it isn't apart of their safety inspection. I'll admit when it happened I was highly upset that I had a second safety issue with a bike I bought from them. But Daniel and his team at J&M were empathetic and still made sure that I was taken care of. Overall, I still can firmly recommend J&M Motorsports to anyone. What happened to me with the bikes I got from J&M could have happened to anyone who got their bike elsewhere. Just look at Harley Davidson. They just had a recall on the 2017 bikes they made because the oil line came apart causing people to crash. So the fact that I got a preowned bike from J&M and they still took care of me even after I purchased the bike is what I call excellent customer service.
