I brought my motorcycle in to have three oil leaks repaired: the oil pan, the shift linkage O-ring, and a leak near the front sprocket. They kept my motorcycle for about a month, and when I picked it up on April 16, the exact leaks were still there. Instead of fixing the problem I paid them to fix, they claimed the leaks were caused by an overly tight chain. All they had apparently done was clean and properly tension the chain. I returned the very next day, April 17, and showed them the motorcycle was still leaking. They kept it again and didn't return it until July 8--nearly three months later. During those three months, their communication was nonexistent. I was never proactively updated. Every update came because I had to call or stop by myself. For a shop to hold a customer's motorcycle for months without keeping them informed is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I authorized approximately $560 in repairs. When I finally went to pick up my motorcycle, they attempted to charge me $1,062.33--almost double what I had approved--without ever calling to ask for authorization before performing additional work. That's not how professional businesses operate. The condition they returned my motorcycle in was equally unacceptable. The seat wasn't even bolted down. The bike was covered in grease and oil stains, making it obvious that little care was taken before returning it to me. The final straw came the very next morning on my commute to work. My rear tire suddenly slipped, and I discovered coolant pouring from the left side of the motorcycle. Experiencing a fluid leak immediately after getting a motorcycle back from a repair shop is deeply concerning because it creates a serious safety risk. After months of delays, poor communication, an attempt to bill me for unauthorized work, careless reassembly, and receiving my motorcycle back with a dangerous coolant leak, I have absolutely no confidence in this shop's workmanship or professionalism. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, and I cannot recommend this business to anyone.

During the job, Andy cut into my fuel tank due to careless work--something that should never happen on such a straightforward install. He wanted to give it to his "neighbor" mechanics to fix it for cheaper labor but my brand new car deserves the dealership. Now I'm dealing with $4,200 in damages on a basically brand new car at the dealership. The shop did admit fault and agreed to pay, but I'm still waiting on the check he gave me to process in my bank, which has been frustratingly slow. What makes it worse is how avoidable this was. This isn't a complex custom job--it's a basic exhaust install that any competent shop should be able to handle without issues. Damaging a fuel tank is a serious mistake, not just a small slip-up. Just putting this out there so others are aware. If you're planning to get work done here, especially on a newer car, I'd be cautious and ask a lot of questions upfront. Really disappointing experience overall for something that should've been quick and simple. On top of that. Now I gotta wait for my car to get fixed and find a new place to install H pipe. Dude talks too much as well

There was also a nice Mexican food truck right next to the shop so we were able to munch on churros while we waited.

The Ram Fam is the best. Positive people who know and love what they do. When I moved from the midwest I worried that I would struggle to find a garage that didn't over charge for quality service. My 98 Sportster was missing hard in a few gears (carb issue) among a few other things (tuning, and fluid change). I explained that I needed it to be in top shape as I now will be using it for my everyday commute, and that safety was my main concern. The owner's grandson suggested that investing in a new rear tire would be in my safety's best interest (mine was bald) and assured me my bobber was in good hands. And the owner's grandson was right. Their dyno tuning does wonders. The bike's riding better than ever... cruising it feels like a hot knife cutting through a stick of butter. read more

After not being able to find a decent shop to take my carbureted bike to, I was recommended to RAM products.Took my bike to ram products for some jetting issues. They had the bike done sounding wicked in great time, Bernard was also kind enough to point out a few other issues on the bike I should take a look at. He was very forthcoming and really takes pride in the work done at Ram. On top of that the rest of the team at RAM really make you feel apart of the family. I have taken my '99 Harley Road King here for service and repair a couple of times. Bernard did exactly what I asked him to do and in a timely manner. This time I had more problem sounds with my bike than a rock and roll band has with their micriphones too close to the speakers. My bike "cherped" upon deacceleration, squeaked when applying the front brakes, and backfired between shifting. All are gone thanks to Bernard and Ram Products. Price is very reasonable. The type of place that I have been looking for. I had to get a Pro Clutch installed in my Softail Heritage and the job was done quicker than I expected. I spent more time getting to know the guys than the actual work. Bernard pointed out things that I could do myself if I wanted to, but said don't hesitate to come back. I don't know why I didn't go to him when I first got my bike, but from now on this is my place. Plus it gives me an excuse to take a ride to San Jose from Oakland. read more

They are also one of the only shops that have the equipment and capability to do Motorcycle Frame & Front end alignments. They are also one of the ONLY shops to be a "Partner Shop" with Geico for motorcycle repairs...which means they had to pass all the background checks, financials and industry standards to be approved to be one of only (3) shops in the entire Bay Area to be approved, as of 2025. Don't be surprised to see a ton of Harleys there, they have worked on my newer 1290s KTM, 790/890r, sportbikes/tack bikes and even dirtbikes. Guys there deserve a damn hug...just don't think they will let you.
