Upon arrival David was working with a customer, but acknowledged my presence and asked me how he can be of service. I told him my tire problem and he was so helpful. He explained how bad my tires were lol, in a very nice and professional way, and explained what the process will be all while simultaneously helping the other customer. I informed him of what my budget was and he called George(the owner) to confirm what they could do to help. George gave me a great deal! When George arrived, he greeted me, as he did with all the customers there and started helping David. He also started a great convo which made my experience even better. I will NOT recommend this unprofessional tire shop. I went there for 4 new tires. They told me, they have tire in stock. I was in hurry. So, I agreed to get it done. After they took my tire off. I found out they don't have the tire in stock and have to wait for delivery. Make me wait there for hours. Not to mention resetting TPMS. These amateurs who claim they were in business for 18 years. I love this tire shop. They helped me when I had a nail in my tire. The owner George told me to come back because I needed two front tires replaced, and yes he was correct and he showed me. So I came back to their shop to get two tires replaced. They are amazing. They are always, and I mean ALWAYS very professional, polite and they do their best to get the job done in a timely manner. Honestly don't know how this guy has a five star rating... he sucks as a business owner! He nickel and dimed me when I bought my truck tires, first giving me one price, then saying that these were more expensive because of some random reason. then nickel and dimes me again, for a flat repair that he said wasn't covered by the warranty, which was supposed to be a full warranty. Now it's Sunday, and I'm in a pinch, and I brought the job to the closest place to get a flat repair on my wife's car. Last time the price was $15, but today it's $20, cuz it's Sunday and his place is dead empty. And he doesn't even have time to come out and greet his customer. And then when the tech is done, he comes out talking on his cell phone, and gets perturbed because I asked for a receipt!? And not even a thank you... smh. Gorge, you're a joke. Had them install a tire sensor. They changed me $20 to change the bad sensor (I already had the sensor), and balance the tire. There was a little wait, due to there popularity. I had been going to those tire chain stores for years and would always get anxiety when I needed to get my tires rotated because I KNEW I wasn't going in for a simple rotation. There was ALWAYS something wrong with my tires when I knew there wasn't. I always had them rotated on time and always took care of my tires but somehow those tire chains would always tell me I need this or I needed that. I'm DONE with them. I am going to GP Tires from now on. My daughter got a blow out yesterday in my Jetta. I went over to see George and he had my tire replaced so quickly! I would make an appointment at the other tire chain stores and it would STILL take me at least an hour for a simple tire rotation. GO SEE GEORGE! Good place, they have mostly used tires at an OK price, and a huge selection at that.. Another big plus is that they are open late on Saturday! They were quick to look for a tire when I called them, and are very efficient when putting them on. There's only one mounting machine, and usually only two people actually working on the car, so don't expect to have immediate service if there is someone else there getting tires. Though I did see them bring out the torque wrench, the teenager that was tightening the bolts had already used the impact wrench to get them on. They for sure didn't move a degree when he heard the click, meaning he already over-tightened them with the impact. I mentioned it to him, but he just said that he does what George tells him. I then mentioned it to George, about how putting them in with the impact wrench already over torqued them, and that if he cranked up his wrench he would eventually find where they stand. Well, turns out that his wrench is broken and won't adjust. So in my case, they are very likely over-tightened. No worries, I have a torque wrench at home and will check tomorrow. Another thing, they jack the car up on a bit of an incline. I saw the same kid jack up a car, which didn't have any wheel chock or parking brake engaged, and it rolled an inch or so as his jack flexed when the drive wheel came off the ground. Very cringe-worthy, just use a chock and make sure the brake is on. George, do your business a huge favor, get a torque stick to use when putting the nuts/bolts on. The day you use one is the day you earn your 5 stars. read more

While many neighboring auto shops are closed, you can count on GP Tires (open until 8pm also!) to be there for you when you realized your tire is running flat and then a NAIL in it on your way to Anaheim from the San Gabriel Valley. Yup, that was our scenario on a weekend afternoon. For $15, the guy patched up the tired plus switched the tire out with the new spare in my boyfriend's car and 15 minutes later, we're back on the road at ease. Great service!! read more
