Thank gosh they are opened on a Sunday! While many neighboring auto shops are closed, you can count on GP Tires (open until 8pm also!) to be there for you when you realized your tire is running flat and then a NAIL in it on your way to Anaheim from the San Gabriel Valley. Yup, that was our scenario on a weekend afternoon. For $15, the guy patched up the tired plus switched the tire out with the new spare in my boyfriend's car and 15 minutes later, we're back on the road at ease. Great service!! read more

The only non corporate tire place I could find open on a Sunday! It's a tiny little place, but they took me immediately. I got a flat tire that I needed repaired. It was unfixable, but I was able to get a used tire for only $46! Can't even tell its not the same as my other tires that were $200 each. Service was friendly. They take credit cards and debit. I got a flat on the freeway at 5:15pm and every tire place I found on yelp closed at 5pm. I called and George said he would wait for me. When I got to his shop, he mentioned that he had a busy day and that he thought about closing early but since I had called, he made the commitment to wait for me. I was extremely appreciative of that. I drive a MB E-Class and the tires are generally expensive. His price to patch the tire was inexpensive but unfortunately, my tire was beyond repair. Fortunately for me, he happened to have a replacement tire exactly like the one I had. The tire was SLIGHTLY used and he gave me an awesome deal. I got a $200 tire for $60. I went to GP for the first time a few days ago. I got a flat on my lunch break from school and I had to break out the old trustee spare donut tire. I yelped near by tire shops once I got back home and GP popped right up. I decided to give it a try. George answered my call and was very welcoming. I took the car in and George had a few used tires I could chose from, not to mention it was already past 7:00 pm. I did not want to buy new just yet I needed something in good condition to hold me over until pay day! George was great he sold me what appeared to be a like new used tire. Two days later, my mother drove over some spike strips and popped two tires and just my luck, one of them was the newly replaced tire. Once again I went to see George and he had tires for me. Although not as meaty as the first time, but they were still good to hold me. I would recommend this shop. read more

I was confident sending my sister here to purchase used tires because of all the stellar reviews. I found a pair of used tires with great tread life on Craigslist by GP Tires and we set up to purchase two new tires from GP Tires to accompany the two used. Originally we were quoted $140 per new tire, and $60 for the two used (you know what they say, if a price is too good to be true...), and once we got the final quote, we were good to go. There were a few red flags from the beginning. First, they said cash only, otherwise it would be an additional $30 on top of the original quote. Second, we got a call from GP Tires soon after finalizing our quote claiming they made a 'mistake' and that it will actually be an additional $30 more per new tire (reading previous reviews, this is something they have done before). Regardless, we agreed to the price hike, came in the next day, and got everything installed. We thought all was well until one of the used tires we purchased went flat within 24 hours. We took it to the closest shop to get it patched and the guys there informed us that it was a crack in the sidewall and it was completely unrepairable. We contacted GP Tires and informed them of the situation, wanting to return the single bad tire. We were told they tested it in water and that it was fine, and they also didn't offer a return (only to sell us another new one) then told us it was "Sold as is". And they were right, they literally have a sign in their shop stating that, and we ignored it the first time around. Because of this 'sold as is' sign hanging in their shop, it allows them to legally sell YOU merchandise that may or may not perform for its intended purpose, like tires with cracked sidewalls that don't hold air (in our situation) and it's COMPLETELY LEGAL. So I'm writing this review as a warning to anyone who shops here, don't make the same mistake we did, and know that you may end up buying tires that may have dry rot, patches, cracked sidewalls, etc, and GP Tires is not responsible if they don't hold air. read more

Omg! Life saver! I had a broken valve on my tire. Found this awesome gem on yelp. When I got here there was a few customers. It a actually the only tire shop open. I am glad he is. If it wasn't for him I would have been doomed. I'm on my way to a vegas trip. So I will definitely be coming back here and I will recommend it to all my friends. I went this morning to get my tire patched and the tire guy said it wasn't fixable. He tried selling me a used tire and i said no. He didnt do any work on my tire just took it off the rim and told me it wasnt fixable. He charged me $10 just for that. I went to another tire shop and they fixed it for $15. Easy fix!!! I wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone bad experience money hungry shop!! read more

I found these guys on Yelp and gave them a call to get some Offroad tires mounted up. I called and was pleasantly surprised that they were half the price that their local competitors quoted me at. When I arrived with tires in my truck bed they got up and inspected them, then informed me that the tires would actually be 30 dollars more to mount up. I asked him why if I had given them the tire size telephonically beforehand,(35x12.50x15). He said he had remembered me telling him the size but he hadn't realized they were so large. Overall they weren't rude guys but it's shady business to jack up the price that much after telling me a price. It's also worrying that a tire place didn't realize how big a 35 was. read more

Needed new tires for my Lexus and found George offering a great deal for 4 Michelins, exactly the brand and size I needed, and practically new to boot. An Unbelievable deal! I called about half an hour before coming in and received fast, fantastic and attentive service immediately upon arrival despite the scorching 115 degree weather. I recently had a nail in my tire which resulted in a flat. Where the nail was in the tire, it was beyond repair.
