My wife and I have gone to three different dog trainers, and we think Alden has been the best dog…read moretrainer so far! We HIGHLY Recommend this guy! Firstly this guy knows dogs! He understands what works for different kinds of doggos and their personalities. He also is super nice, friendly, and helpful when you are working with him. You can tell he loves what he does. He knows why things work or don't work in dog training and why one trainer or place my recommend one thing vs why it might be different for your doggo. We have a large doggy named Milo and he kept nipping and jumping on people. Play biting and jumping for bigger dogs is difficult because we have older parents and his jumping and nipping could hurt them. We also have a newborn baby we were worried that our doggo would be rough with him since he kept rough playing, nipping/biting, and jumping on us. HOWEVER, with Alden's support we saw a sudden and quick decrease in our doggos behaviors. To all you dog owners out there looking for good and well-rounded training THIS IS THE GUY! Alden is very honest and even though we pushed for possibly doing boarding 2-week training he told us our doggo didn't need it and didn't want to push it on us. My wife and I really love working with him and hope to continue to have him there for our doggos life trainings! We recommend him 5-stars. Thanks Alden!

Alden is knowledgeable when it comes to training tactics and can adjust based on each individual dog's needs. Additionally he handles leash training with ease even with the most rowdy dogs. I highly recommend Alden for both training and boarding services.

Definitely it's more focused on furry friends (cats and dogs) than any other pet type, but that's…read moreto be expected (me as a reptile owner, a persecuted population). But that doesn't mean that this shop doesn't have a little bit of items for exotics owners. There seemed to be a deal where if you fill up a Petco bucket with supplies for exotics, you get a discount. Not much, but there is something there. There's also a small tank with some aquatic snails which were cool to look at. But yeah, most of the shop is for cat and dog stuff, and some merchandise for pet owners too. There's leashes, costumes, cleaning, grooming, and many other supplies, lots of food and treats of all ingredients, textures, and styles, and they even had a refill station to scoop your own litter. Pretty interesting. We got to see a cute tuxedo cat named Popo who was up for adoption and they have a wall with the dates and times for more extensive adoption events. I thought the little dog shaped machine to make ID tags was pretty cute and they had a wall with scoop your own baggie of treats and clearance items. My friend ordered something online and it was already there for pick up. Pretty convenient!

We had a hard time trying to take it off. she made it seem like he was gonna be fine, but you could see that he was clearly struggling. Now I'm debating whether I should take him back.

Terrible experience. First, they rescheduled day-of TWICE due to a groomer no-showing. The actual…read moreappointment ended up being a week later than it was initially supposed to be. First red flag, but we were polite and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt; maybe it was just unluckiness on their part. We finally dropped our cat off today, only for them to call us to pick her up less than an hour later for extremely flimsy reasons--apparently, our cat was unhappy ("spicy") and swiped a few times--AFTER her nails had already been cut, thus there were no sharp claws or any blood drawn. Just some soft paw swipes. Seriously? Our cat is literally a RAGDOLL who's all bark (or meow) and no bite whatsoever--probably the EASIEST breed to work with. I highly doubt most cats are perfect angels at the groomer, so why send her home for a few swipes and general grumpiness? I reiterate that our cat was NOT having an anxiety attack or running rampant/drawing blood with her claws. She was simply exhibiting normal, "unhappy at the groomer" cat behavior. Honestly, it seems like they were just shorthanded (apparently, our scheduled original groomer no-showed again today lol) and needed an excuse to send our cat home ASAP. We noted that there was at least one other cat there, judging by the distressed meows, but only one available groomer. So they took the path of least resistance and didn't even TRY to accommodate our cat. Just sent her home at the first sign of discomfort. They probably figured that since we were so nice about the previous reschedules, we wouldn't make a fuss about this either. It feels pretty bad to take hours out of our week to schedule (and repeatedly reschedule) this appointment, only to have it canceled day-of within a single hour. And they STILL charged us $20 for only the nail trim after giving up without doing ANYTHING else. We could have easily trimmed her nails at home, for free, without making the 45-minute round trip twice (again to reiterate, she is a Ragdoll. Trimming her nails is nothing). Overall, they were so, so, so unprofessional and disappointing. Seriously expected better based on the other reviews. Maybe the good groomers were the bo-shows or something because all we got in the end was disappointment, a few wasted hours, and a wholly ungroomed cat. And we paid $20 for it too. Lol.
