Best place for craft beers IN USA. Small neighborhood bar with the best selection of craft beers I have seen anywhere outside of Belgium. Maybe because they are not a chain, but GQs has a real feel not duplicated, but genuine. Even World of Beers does not compare to the friendly feeling you get with a unique selection of craft beers. Low key week night with the girlfriends, and thanks to Jenn F. for the search. New place, on the corner of the plaza. There are plenty of shopping and eating stores next to it so there was plenty of parking. They were not officially open as their grand opening was the week after but still, we got great service and tried some of their food items. We ordered personal cheese pizza, hummus (lots of pita chips and great for sharing) and wings. We talked a lot to Lil Spanish, who is the beertender and another guy there who I'm guessing is the owner. They have hookahs, jukebox and board games. There's only one way that I can truly describe the feeling I had walking into this small bar: I wanted to go where everybody knows my name, and they nailed that feeling for me by the end of the night. Spontaneity coupled with a lonely, boring Wednesday night during my winter break brought me in here. I got here at 8 and figured I'd have a beer or two. I stayed until 2am when they shut their doors for the night. They have about 10 beers on tap, and probably around 20 more types bottled. Every beer I had there was damn good, and the price is right. I also saw someone else get hummus while I was there. I had already eaten dinner, but duh - it's hummus. Of course I'm going to eat that too. And then try to share it with everyone at the bar. It hit the spot. Much to my surprise and excitement - THEY HAVE KARAOKE ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS. After killin' some Alanis Morissette and the beers were flowing, I kept getting dragged up to sing again and again. My apologies for everyone's ears last night, but I was having way too much fun to stop. This is a really excellent spot. They made me feel right at home, saved me from a creepy guy, helped me make some new awesome friends, and I had the greatest random Wednesday night thanks to it. Oh and bonus - the owner makes a mean hookah if you're into that kinda thing. It really hit the spot! If I could give them 100 stars I would. They're gonna get sick of me in no time. read more

It's a nice little place right behind Dunkin Donuts. The atmosphere is very chill, and I can see why everyone asks for Kevin. He's very friendly and helpful when selecting a [craft] beer. He's the man. I recommend this place just because you don't get too many places with outstanding customer service. They also have my favorite beer which no other place has! New bar in town with craft beer, had to check it out. This is a nice bar at the end of a plaza with plenty of parking. We went late on a Saturday evening and there were plenty of booths available. There was a group of people sitting at the bar playing House of Cards and smoking hookah. The bartender was helpful, he suggested some beers for us. I decided to go with 26 Degree Brewing beer with banana hints (forgot the name). I wanted something fruity or sour but they didn't have any. There's a jukebox there, my husband loved playing music on it; you download the app and put some money in to play songs. The manager was really nice and came to check up on us. They serve food but we weren't hungry; it's good to know for next time. They had a couple of televisions throughout. The beers were affordable with plenty of IPA's and other types to choose from. I would suggest adding more variety such as fruity and sour beers; they do have cider. It's a great laid back spot to grab a couple of beers. I would definitely return. read more

Craft beer bar? In Lauderhill? Yes sir yes ma'am.l! Spotted this "hot new business" when it came up on a local search and needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. Came by with my two fave Elites (Reixa C. and Angie S.) to check it out on a random weekday night. Besides the barkeep and another employee, we were basically the only patrons there. They just recently opened and hadn't had their grand opening yet. They have a really great selection of local craft beer, cans and on tap. They have 10 taps which he said they planned on keeping them reserved for local beer to which is really awesome. We also ordered a few different food items. The hummus and pita and the wings were my favorite. Wasn't really a fan of the pizza. The three of us just hung out for a few hours and watched the Eddie Murphy movie Trading Places. Very chill and relaxing space. They also offer hookah for those interested. The bartender was really nice and very helpful and really went above and beyond for us. My only negative is that he said he didn't like beer which is sort of an oxymoron being a bartender of a craft beer bar. I definitely plan on returning to check it out again! read more

Stopped in with some girlfriends to try it out since one had this placed bookmarked. It was a little hard to find since it's on the very end of the building and hidden by the building in front of it. They hadn't yet had their grand opening so we were the only ones there for awhile. Cute little place with a nice beer selection. Very friendly staff and the service was awesome. Gotta love it when you ask for suggestions and you get a true find. We found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a go as it was close to home. I was with two friends and we wanted to try a good draft. Patrick was quick to assist and offered us a few to try. Some were just okay and I believe the 3rd was the charm. My friends and I all ordered the Diver Down Imperial Red from Lakeland, FL. I have to say, it was awesome and cold. The menu consisted somewhat of typical bar food. We ordered the hummus, wings and salsa with chips. Each was good but the service was exceptional. Kudos to Patrick for his knowledgeable suggestions and great service. Parking was a breeze. Beers are always Cold and glasses are always clean. The draught beers are always fresh, also they've got JERK WINGS (Yeah Mon) what a darn good combo with ice cold beers. Low key bar specializing in serving local craft beer. It is a fairly small space with ample tv's for viewing sports. The service was fantastic! Lilspanish was our bartender and he was very friendly as well as helpful. I wasn't sure what beer I wanted based on the selection they have but he was more than accommodating in helping me decide on one. It was a little slow for a Saturday, which was okay with me but a bit surprising never the less. They did not have any amber beers at the time (ambers are what I typically drink) but as I said the bartender was very helpful in finding something else. I did not know they served food otherwise my girlfriend and I would have definitely stayed longer. Overall, I would recommend this bar if you are looking for something low key and chill with beers you won't get at your typical restaurants and bars. Will be back when in the area. read more

Even if I stop by for "just a beer" I'm drawn in by a very interesting crowd. GQ, the owner, is very down to earth and kind. Plus, he knows his beers! Great hidden spot behind Duncan Doughnuts. LilSpanish is a great bar tender. Co-Worker and I went after work on a Friday at 5pm. The place was empty but we talked to the workers, watched the news (Channel 10), and talked about fishing. Another couple eventually showed up. LilSpanish loves to fish, so if you have a boat, take him fishing with you. Beers are great, mostly local which is cool. You can try samples. I had Neon Gypsy and Emotional Rescue. While we were watching the news, the Dirty Dining plug came up on the TV. I mentioned to the workers that we watch that stuff and decide which restaurants to visit based on those reports. The workers assured us they clean everything very well. They only have a few food items, but they are still inspected and passed. We didn't have any food on this visit. They have 10 taps of draft, and they change often. They'll have something you like or you can get a beer from the fridge which has many brands to pick from. Amazing beer selections I love the hospitality and the fact that this bars restrooms are clean and not only are they clean but unisex, for these restrooms to be clean are a huge deal. Which only brings me to point out how well prepared the food is and I did not feel guilty at all tasting a bite off this menu. The bar was clean and the staff is very friendly down to earth, they have a digital jukebox that has an awesome selection to keep your crowd up and going.
