However, they neglected to find these obvious issues. Keep in mind I was told before service and after that they top off what needs to be topped off. 1. Radiator coolant was at the minimum before service. The radiator coolant remained at the minimum after service. They topped it off after I pointed it out, but I shouldn't have to. 2. Antifreeze was at the minimum going in and is still at the minimum. I will be topping it off before going to another dealership to have it flushed out and replaced. 3. They mentioned they checked the engine air filter and it was fine. Upon inspection at home, the dust on the air filter cover was undisturbed showing they had not touched it. Upon inspecting the air filter, it was painfully clear that it was not checked and was desperately needing replaced. A picture is provided. 4. They mentioned the cabin air filter was also checked and was fine. After removing the filter, it was clearly evident that it wasn't checked as it was disgusting. A picture is provided. I don't know if it's because they lost their master mechanic (what they told me) so it's inexperience, or if it was laziness, or a scam, but they have lost all my trust and I will never go there again. I will be going elsewhere for another inspection to see what else was missed.

I put down a $1,000 deposit to hold the car while I completed a pre-purchase inspection. I paid for the inspection and sent a mechanic to the dealership. I told them I needed to speak with the inspector and would confirm everything the next day. The inspection came back positive, so I immediately bought a plane ticket to fly up and pick up the vehicle. That same day, after I emailed them my plan and timing, they replied that they had sold the car to someone else and were refunding my deposit. There was no heads-up, no call, and no "we have another buyer, you need to finalize by X time." Just an email saying it was sold. As a result, I'm now out $786 for the plane ticket and the inspection with no remedy. A deposit should actually hold the car, not hold it until someone else walks in the door. I would not do business with Stoops Buick GMC again.

In total it took 4 months to get my vehicle back after dropping it off. Originally went here instead of Tom O'Brian because they said they could look at it right away... ended up taking 3 or 4 days before they even looked at it. That was indicative of how the rest of the experience would go. Multiple instances of diagnosing, completing the work, that not fixing the issue, and needing to do something else. Conveniently every part needed was on back order. During the final repair, what was quoted as a 4 hour job took an entire week (with daily phone calls asking what the hold up was). Cherry on top was them attempting to charge approximately $1500 more than they quoted. If a mechanic ever tells you the repair is a dealer only fix, look elsewhere.

They a few nice used cars that were overpriced compared to the market, and a lot of sketchy, high-mileage cars and trucks. It appears that they try to shuffle everyone to some dodgy high-interest hard case lender and look at you like an alien when you have good credit and are simply looking for a clean, reliable first car for your teenage daughter. I may be a woman, but I'm not an idiot. They would do well to remember that. If you're a cash buyer and willing to invest the time to play the game and negotiate, you'll be okay here. If you plan to finance through the dealer, especially if your credit is marginal, there are much better places to shop for cars with far better reputations.

The Lexus was in a great condition (see the photos) - and it's been trouble-free ownership. At the end of the day, a lot of it depends on how the previous owners treated the car. All in all, their staff was friendly and professional, and the whole process went smoothly. If I need another car for my family, I'll shop here again.

I dealt with Kevin Dunn Which went above and beyond my expectations for the day and get me into the vehicle I want without any problems, which I would highly recommend this humble individual again. Two weeks later and sitting on a lemon . Asked warranties, pushed for gap which don't kick in until 25-30 days. Paperwork signed that the vehicle was mechanically sound, which was elaborated three different times to me while signing that piece of paperwork which miraculously wasn't in my copy of the paperwork. Not only was that emphasized about being a mechanically sound once being in finalized with the lady who was taking care of the end process, she kept stressing something about a transmission issue may happen down the road so you may want some coverage or something almost implying that there is an existing issue. They've not been helpful, playing phone tag and not responding for days after manager said they would " trade me out," not trade in the junk I was sold. The issue still exist with no resolve from anyone I've tried to contact for a week and the Mechanic that I have looking at it said the transmission was a Band-Aid basically to last a couple months. The issue had already been there prior and had to be known. Still no resolve after phone tag for a week talking to sales manager finally who has employees in the background laughing at the financial burden they've placed on me. In the recording of the call not once did they deny knowing about the transmission issue instead talked around. Further actions will now be taken for lack of help from this business.
