Do your research on it. Google the product or visit home depot online to see how much the part costs. Based off the product price, you should be able to estimate about how much the entire cost should be (inc install). This is what I did and I knew I was getting gouged. I had some other stuff come up and I couldn't afford the job. But I got quoted elsewhere, the job got done and ended up saving literally $550. Im sure the guy does good work. Just be aware of price gouging.
